KNOWLEDGEABLE & APPROACHABLE…read more WETSUIT EXPERIENCE Came in looking for a wetsuit--left knowing everything I needed to make the right call. CHANCE, the board and wetsuit manager, walked me through seams, thickness, materials, and zippers, explaining how each one plays a role in keeping you warm. He also helped double-check the fit on the suits I tried. Super helpful. Knows his stuff. BUYING EXPERIENCE DANIEL, holding it down downstairs, was welcoming and easy to talk to. Told me to swing back any time I needed gear or had questions. Solid vibe. THE #1 SPOT FOR WETSUITS & SURF GEAR They've got a full floor dedicated to wetsuits--and not just any suits, but legit options. If you surf in California, like I do, you'll want a 3/2mm full suit. The Xcel suits they carry are top-tier--way better than the cheap Amazon ones. Sure, they're a little pricier, but they actually keep you warm and hold up. If you're looking for a wetsuit, new board, or surf gear, check out Inflight first. You'll be stoked you did.

I grew up in…read moreSeal and haven't been back in years so here I am visiting and I figured I'd check out a few local shops I frequented back in the day. When I stopped in the lady (without greeting me at all) snapped at me in the shortest tone to leave my tea drink at the counter. Not thinking any thing of it I replied with "gladly" as I wanted my hands free to shop the racks anyway (I figured people must've spilt their drinks in the shop at some point so no biggy). Then as I'm leaving I see there's a cute cat sleeping on the clothes in a literal Hawaiian button down shirt so I stop to pet him, I kid you not I'm petting the sweet baby and the lady again barks at me that he's napping. Yes lady, I can see that, he was totally unbothered as I pet him. Did I miss the "no petting the chill shop cat while he's napping" sign on my way in? Then I grab my drink I walk to the door, my dad's sitting at the bench right outside the door and I tell him to come check out the cute cat in the Hawaiian shirt. The cat's sleeping five feet from the door on a display shelf and again I walk in with my dad and the lady barks at me so fast "drink on the counter" in the most vile tone!! I'm not one to write reviews often but this lady was just so rude I couldn't believe it. Cute cat, the young girly also working there was nice but dang that elderly lady was such a buzz kill for no reason.. hope she's al least nice to her employees.

Lovely area in Long Beach close by to Belmont Shore and Naples Canals…read more It's a great walking area with many shops, restaurants, coffee-shops. Nowadays it's a great area to stroll about and eat at some place outdoors. But this is a nice street to walk anytime of the year no matter what, summer is fun, at X-mas the decor is beautiful and festive especially at the very end, near the water. So, grab a drink and walk down these few blocks, do some people watching, it'll raise your spirit!

The 12 Days of Christmas (modified for Black Friday)…read more On the first hour of Black Friday, my taste buds went crazy for some Peet's coffee down on Second Street On the second hour of shopping, I was obsessing, for some BBQ from Lucille's, Greek food from George's And Sweet Jill's pumpkin pie with whip cream. On the third hour of shopping, I realize something I need. Two pairs of Gap jeans One Body Shop cream, And three Lucky brand tees. And a red velvet cupcake from Frosted Cupcakery. On the fourth hour of shopping, my true love gave to me, That red dress from the corner boutique It's my Lady in red moment, leaving me singing, "Lady in red... is dancing with me..." Thanks, musical genius Chris De Burgh. On the fifth hour of tight spending, my sweet tooth was cra-viiinnnngg... Powell's Sweet Shop caaannnndddyyy. It was three Abba Zabbas, Four Pop Rock candies, Five Pixy Stix calling, And a visit to Dr. Peartree's to take care of an upcoming cavity. On the sixth hour at Belmont Shore, my true love said to me, "Wanna share an Angelo's Italian roast beef sandwich?" Nine dollars later, stomach full and happy We lounged outside of Starbucks, for some traditional people watching On the seventh hour on Second Street, It was time for Frosted Cupcakes, Yogurtland or Le Crepere, Two Nutella glazed crepes, Three Cup cakes, One Vanilla fro-yo with sprinkles, Five golden pumps of Giradello butterscotch with mochi, And I don't know what that partridge in the peartree means. On the eighth hour at Belmont I was too tired from all the shop-ping I boohooed boring Bono's, passed up Legend's hot wings Called it a day and went home For a well-deserved siesta with my honey. Peace out! Happy Holidays!!!
