When I stopped in the lady (without greeting me at all) snapped at me in the shortest tone to leave my tea drink at the counter. Yes lady, I can see that, he was totally unbothered as I pet him. Did I miss the "no petting the chill shop cat while he's napping" sign on my way in? Then I grab my drink I walk to the door, my dad's sitting at the bench right outside the door and I tell him to come check out the cute cat in the Hawaiian shirt. The cat's sleeping five feet from the door on a display shelf and again I walk in with my dad and the lady barks at me so fast "drink on the counter" in the most vile tone!! She said yes and walked away, later more customers went in and she had no issue with them. i think this was definitely a racial discrimination issue considering my husband had no issues going in earlier he is fair skinned and everyone else who was fair skinned was fine.
