    Burrito Ranchero

Found this spot from Google when my mom & I were driving cross-country & needed to stop somewhere for food. The reviews looked good & so did the food/menu so we decided to stop. We were NOT disappointed! The customer service was great, our waitress was very attentive & fast, the FOOD was AMAZING. When I read other reviews I saw someone recommend the brisket quesadilla so we got it and whoever that was, you were right! It was delicious! In total we got the burrito ranchero (I think, if I remember correctly), the brisket quesadilla, & the brisket stuffed avocado. If you are craving authentic Mexican food, this is definitely the place to stop at. We were so happy when we left. If we are ever in Terrell, TX we will DEFINITELY be stopping by again.

The chipotle chicken enchiladas are new favorite. The chipotle sauce is light, well seasoned, and not overly spicy. The rice and beans are good portions amd full flavored. The chili relleno is not as good. The brisket tasted like an unseasoned pot roast and they it wasn't an egg battered coating on the pepper. If it was, it was under cooked amd fell apart in the tomatillo sauce. Service was great even with a busy lunch crowd on a Sunday. My glass was never empty before a refill was offered.

We went back last night. This is one of our favorite places to eat. We tried something different, my husband got the stuffed avocado with chicken fajitas. He said it was very good. I got the pork stew with Charro beans. Everything I eat here is always good and I am never disappointed.- with Aaron Wilson

    Cheese on cheese enchiladas

A friend wanted to come here and I wanted to give it another try since I didn't like it the first time around. I got the cheese on cheese with rice and beans plate, the rice was good it had flavor, the beans were not smushed enough for my liking, the enchiladas were good tho could use a little improvement. I didn't like she salsa they provide with the chips but that's just me I'm picky with my salsa. We went on a Friday night I figured they would be packed but they weren't, also there was no music playing kinda odd tbh. Our waitress was attentive too but we did have to return my friends plate because they gave her the wrong tacos.

Been here several times and their food is consistently great. We love their spicy green sauce. They have homemade corn tortillas!

Salsa is too thin and sub par. The food is pretty good, but not amazing. Service is usually good.

I personally think it's the best Mexican restaurant in town. Food is amazing and the staff is so friendly! They even have live music.

The consommé paired with them really elevated the dish and brought everything together. We also ordered the tableside guacamole along with chips and salsa, and it was clear right away that everything was made fresh in-house. The flavors were vibrant and authentic, and the quality really stood out. Overall, a great spot if you're looking for fresh, flavorful Mexican food. I'll definitely be coming back.

Such a charming, cute, photo worthy decor. The food was delicious, with a very large menu. Everyone was so kind and polite. And the drinks were well done. For our food, we did white queso (super flavorful), guac with the fixing (honestly super fresh) and empanda birria, which we loved. Since it was our first time here we really wanted to try a few different things. Chips were the super thin kind which we like. I probably am not a fan of the warm salsa but thats preference. He got the birria tacos, amazing. I got the chimi with shredded chicken. Super cheesy. Well done. Maybe on the rich side, but good. All that for less than $100 with tip. Seriously I am sold. Cant wait to come back!!

Walked into Mariachi for lunch thinking I was about to enjoy a simple steak burrito. You know…read more.. one of those wildly complicated orders that included ONLY steak, cheese, beans, and rice. Apparently I accidentally requested the "garden fresh surprise" edition because it showed up packed with lettuce and tomatoes. No big deal, mistakes happen. I politely let the server know, expecting the standard "Oops, we'll fix that." Instead, I got hit with the customer service equivalent of a UFC uppercut: "Yeah, that's what you said." After explaining again that I specifically said ONLY, I was then informed they'd have to charge me for an entirely new burrito if they corrected it. Over lettuce and tomato. Not because I ate the whole thing. Not because I changed my mind halfway through. Simply because their version of quality control is apparently "good luck everybody." The best part? Rather than fixing the burrito, offering literally any solution, or attempting basic conflict resolution, they just let me walk out. Imagine losing a customer over shredded lettuce. That's commitment to the principle. I didn't even get to try the actual food, although based on the chips and salsa, I'm not sure I missed a life-changing culinary experience. To be fair, I wasn't rude, I wasn't demanding, and I fully understand mistakes happen in restaurants. But if your first response to a simple correction is "pay for another one," then maybe the problem isn't the burrito. Mariachi taught me an important lesson today: apparently "only" is just a suggestion. Do Better
