I've been dining at RL for many years, we have grown to love the staff and owners as family. Today…read morewe came in and tried a new menu item, the Pambazo. I am serious to say this was one of the most delicious meals I have had, after dining in multitudes of restaraunts across this nation and others. This small, family owned business really knows their way around the kitchen! The staff is always welcoming, they have our drinks pouring before we are even seated. The place is always filled with laughter, music, and good sports playing on multiple tv's. They have an event room for special occasions that you can rent. We have even had them cater for an outside event and they thought of everything. Some of my favorite meals are the grilled avacados, brisket enchiladas, Jesse's special, barrocho bean soup, and of course the new Pambazo. I do believe I have had everything on the menu and have never been disappointed. They make a great margarita and mojito. Don't hold back when you are there, the staff are super friendly, as well as the owners. They certainly enjoy the patrons to share their experiences, to make it better every day.

Ok, it had been a few years since I've eaten here. I was reading the reviews and thought I'd give…read morethis place another shot. My family and I went here on a Sunday just before noon. The crowd wasn't bad, and we were seated quickly. The chips, salsa, and drinks were delivered promptly. The salsa seemed like a new recipe, and was pretty good. I want to say the chip game was on point, at a table of 6 our chips were never empty. We ordered a queso and that was good too. The staff was accommodating when our kids made special requests and that was appreciated. The rest of us ordered something involving brisket and all left stuffed and happy. Food was authentic and delicious. We ended up getting the same waitress from my first visit and she was attentive and friendly. There was also a gentleman probably in his 40s overseeing the dining operations, he ran a tight ship, and was most likely the reason everything was prompt. The place even seemed a bit lighter and the atmosphere was a little more family friendly. Oh I also had a margarita after reading the reviews. It was perfect in my opinion. A family of 6 ate until we burst and it was all still under $120.00. That's a win in our book. This place is back in the rotation, if things change, I'll post an update.

I don't know where or how they received the 5 stars. We ordered cheese enchiladas with rice and beans and chicken soft tacos with rice and beans. All of the food was COLD. The enchilada plate had no beans, just bean juice and there was no cheese in the cheese enchiladas.
