Quesobirria taco plate, with warm birria consumme juice. Juicy beef birria meat taco, melted cheese.
    Amigo K.

I normally like every dish at Arboledas. Maybe they should re-format the Birria Tacos Plate to keep everything moist, and then warm. I was lunch hour, busy as usual here, and the Wednesday 2 enchiladas plate special was on my mind. Sitting down, I saw a flyer for the Quesobirria Tacos plate. This is, seasoned, juicy, soft shredded beef, on melted cheese in a soft corn taco shell. Chopped onion, cilantro, rice, charro beans, and warm Beef Birria Broth Consumme in a cup, on the side. Load your taco your way, then dip in the consumme cup before each bite! When presented correctly, this is Heavenly, the angels play harps! But today, the Devil was in the details! The busy kitchen could not do justice. Meat was dry, melted cheese had cooled down too much, taco shells were too soft. So, get smaller taco shells. Might was well keep the meat in a warming dish, covered with the consumme. Juicy. Fondue the cheese. Little ahumadora tacos, like I used to eat in Tijuana! Mmm! Birria is supposed to be Juicy!

Mmmmm, nothing like spectacular tex mex! Cute little place! The chips were heavenly. Salsa a little spicy but i'm a wimp. And the margaritas.... WOW soooo good! Queso was delicious as was all the food! Def try them out!

ATMOSPHERE - 3 Open, variety of seats, quiet. Medium sized facility. Great location. Great meet up spot. They will move tables for you FACILITY - 3 Restrooms were clean. I can't really give this place any more than 3 stars. Facility is nice though. There is seating just inside. INSIDE - 4 The inside of the restaurant is very clean and everyone was friendly. Nobody was over the top friendly. It was crowded and seemed to be the hot spot in town. Our opinion was a little different OUTSIDE - NA They have no outdoor seating. SERVICE - 2 Friendly, efficient. We waited a bit of time once our entire party showed up. It didn't seem that the waitress was on the ball. She seemed a little distracted. FOOD - 2 I don't like chili on my enchiladas. I love enchiladas and made the order. I also had the Chili Relleno. My gosh it was bland and not flavorful at all. My wife had Tacos Pastor. Not the way we have had in many other places. I really don't know what the problem was with the food but it seemed to be off. I don't know if it is a recurring thing but tonight was not the night. ONLINE ORDERING - 0 I didn't notice any online ordering. It seems as the best is to get them hot and fresh from the restaurant.

Caldo de Res, chicken flautas w/rice and beans, And the kids plate- bean burrito with queso on the side, along with the rice and beans.

The Rockwall location is the best location if your looking for great food with a great manager that checks in with his clients. The waitress are amazing, the cooks make their food with love. I recommend the Top Shelf Enchiladas, the Shrimp enchiladas, the Brisket enchiladas with the sauce that comes on the flautas desabridas, not to forget the flauta desabridas themselves super delicious, the caldo de res as well. Also of the chips and salsa and if you like adult beverages they make them strong here so as for the casamigos in your ranch water and you'll feel great after just one.

Large screw found baked into a cheese enchilada

We have been coming to this place for about a year now and always loved it. Tonight we ordered a large amount of food to-go. Unfortunately when I took my first bite of a cheese enchilada and I bit into this 4 inch long screw :( I couldn't believe it was happening. We instantly went back to the restaurant with our entire order mostly untouched with the screw and everything. The manager apparently wasn't present, and the woman who I spoke with let me know that a refund cannot be issued because I ordered through a 3rd party online ordering service. Horrifying and disturbing.

I don't know why it took so long for me to come here. But I will soon be back! Tex mex can be great. But as a happy to live in Rockwall transplant from San Diego (don't hold it against me ...I get my hometown is filled with transplants too!) This place was a nice departure from the typical Tex Mex restaurant. Everything had a homeMade taste. Beer was cold, Margarita was tasty simple and large . The chips were awesome too. Thin and crispy. Service was super fast and friendly! Thanks for a nice lunch Arboledas.

Sour cream enchiladas with sides. Gross

My boss and I stopped here for a quick bite after work. BAD IDEA. We both ordered the daily special of enchiladas and I ordered a steak taco on the side. The sour cream chicken enchiladas, beans and rice were completely bland. The salsa and chips were an utter let down. The chips were oily and the salsa was warm. But you get what you pay for $5.99, got me some nasty food and an upset stomach the next morning. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST.

Ric's plate. Enchilada, tamale, & chile relleno
    Sandy P.

Quite similar to the Ridge Road location in terms of menu, though it is usually less crowded and is even more informal. Chile Relleno has too many extraneous veggies in the sauce. For some reason I keep forgetting this. I dont like it, but i know some folks do. Tamales & enchiladas & fajitas are top-notch. If you aren't sure what to get, or are ordering for an out-of-towner, go for the parilladas Mexicanos. Stellar & a little unusual, with both sausage & nopales. At-the-table guac is perfect. Warm salsa excellent. Cascabel sauce spicy (be warned) but good. Desserts better than most tex-mex places. Be warned - they put cheesecake in their flan. Also, Mountain Dew on tap but NOT Diet Dr Pepper. What the heck.

A week later and I am still thinking about the delicious food and fantastic service! We didn't wait…read moresuper long for a table and the hosts were great. We took my dad to dinner and he complained that it was a little loud, but felt like we sat right under a speaker. I explained to him that it was part of the "vibe". Other than the volume making it difficult to hear, everything was fantastic. We probably could have asked to sit on the heated patio. The chips were warm and fresh and came with both red and green salsa, and both were super tasty. My husband asked if I could make salsa like that at home! We ordered drinks and they came quickly. I appreciated the quality of the drinks especially since we mostly ordered from their drink menu. We ordered "The Good Guac" to start and our server made sure that it wasn't too spicy or anything for my dad. I thought that was very thoughtful that she asked if how it came was ok. For food we ordered street tacos, Baja fish tacos and the parillada en fuego. The food runner seemed confused and brought us another dish (maybe the Verde molcajete) but with the loud music the message that we didn't order it was lost in translation. My husband thought maybe it was what he ordered and started in. Because our server came to check on us so quickly, she caught the mistake right away. She apologized profusely and said they were bringing what we ordered. They allowed us to keep the dish, and no sooner did we have a few bites of the deliciousness the correct food came out. They checked on us quickly, apologized profusely, brought the correct food immediately, let us keep the other food, sent another manager to apologize and finally followed up with coupons to return after making sure we were satisfied with how they handled it. I understand humans make mistakes, so I feel like the recovery or response is what is important. This is the type of amazing service that will keep us coming back. We were actually happy with the mistake as we were able to try another dish we likely wouldn't have ordered (but ended up being our favorite thing to eat). The ambiance was fun, parking was easy, the wait was reasonable, the service was FANTASTIC, the food was delicious and food/drinks were made with quality ingredients. We'll be back!

The decorum is cool if you like fake plants. Though they add cool lighting, which helps. Food, well I wish I could give it five stars, but my second visit confirmed my feelings about the food. It's super spicy, and the portions for the price are crazy small. Don't count on sharing. So, if you can go during a happy hour give it a try. Otherwise, there are better places for Mexican food.

BLEW ME AWAY!! You can tell they use the highest quality ingredients and everything was absolutely TOP TIER. The tortillas were so fresh and delicious. The creamy jalapeno sauce, guacamole, salsa, and queso were all PHENOMENAL as well. This was the perfect selection of dips for the thin, crispy, perfectly salted, chips! All of the proteins I tried (fajita steak and fajita chicken) were SO tender, well seasoned, and the ancho chili butter really set it all off!! I think my favorite snacks of the night were the empanadas and the beef picadillo tacos. The empanada crust was so flaky and buttery and the picadillo filling was so savory and absolutely PACKED with flavor! This is hands down the best Tex-Mex I've had in a LONG time! They need to bring a location to Frisco ASAP!! In the meantime, I'll just be counting down the days until I have an event that I can hire them to cater for. If you're blessed enough to live by their brick and mortar, or need Tex-mex catering, check them out, and enjoyyyy!!

It's def not a lot of meat and was $40. So, depending on the appetite, I would probably order a larger size even for the cost to make sure you have enough. The meat was good but could've used a little more seasoning. It did come with a cup of melted butter that was nice. The sides were all good. The salsa was really good, probably the highlight for me. I also got a cheese enchilada on the side. It comes with a chili over it and it was good. So, with all of that said, Adios Fajitas was good but it's expensive for what you get. I mean a 4 oz queso was $4. 4 oz is tiny. Given their prices, I wanted to love it.
