Online order. Got the burrito. The tiny bit of lettuce on it did not taste good since lettuce doesn't go on burritos usually don't was just warm and yuck. Ordered sour cream inside burrito for $1 extra. There was very little to be found. Hardly any meat at all but packed with beans. The flavors were not good. Rice and beans tasted terrible. All food seriously lacks seasoning. To-go order does not include utensils or napkins. Huge waste ordering here. I don't know what I'm going to do with it. Pleasantly surprised by this little place across the street from Scott's Dairy Freeze in North Bend. Good food and friendly people at lunchtime today. Mondays are mole day. Mole made in the restaurant and not from a can. This is a tasty mole poblano, with a perfect balance of flavor and spice. It's not the overly sweet junk that comes from a can and that many Mexican restaurants use. My only complaint was the rice was a tiny bit dry and not as flavorful as I would have liked. Rice wasn't bad, but not fantastic either. Tuesdays are tamales day. May have to get back here for that some Tuesday soon. And to try some of the other food. I like this place! read more

Moving from California to Washington, Mexican food options in WA have been mostly disappointing and bland. Rio Bravo always hits the spot. Fair pricing, solid portions, a lot of really great options. We haven't tried anything that wasn't good. Since it's on the main drag in downtown, it's usually pretty busy on the weekend so it might be hard to grab a table. read more

AUTHENTIC & AMAZING. Nothing fancy, you order at cash register & they bring it to your picnic table. It's on a busy road so is not upscale Matador or Cactus, but this is the most legit Mexican food I've had outside of vacationing to Mexico. Friendly older gentleman makes a strong margarita. Literally a little slice of Heaven, the restaurant is a pie shape building. By far some of the best Mexican food we have had.. The wife ordered the chorizo hash, kid got rice and tortillas...I know not very impressive but she ate it all and 5 tortillas. Honestly the worst service and worst Mexican food I've ever had. Over priced and rude employees. My husband and I are dairy free. When ordering the dude working the counter told us the horchata was "water based" and then another employee corrected him saying that it actually did contain milk. First red flag that he literally didn't know what he was talking about. We completed our order - a taco salad and 3 tacos. When he asked us if we wanted to make the tacos a plate with rice and beans the employee told us my taco salad came with rice and beans. We didn't want double rice and beans so we were happy with one side of rice and beans. Anyways, our food took forever, and the tacos didn't come with limes and the rice and beans didn't come out with our order. I went in to the counter and inquired about the rice and beans, and the dude at the counter told me they would bring the beans and rice out to us. He then came out to us and demanded I come back inside to the counter (where I just was) pay for the rice and beans. I reminded him he told us the rice and beans came with my order and he replied, "I said it didn't come with it". When I told him I'm not going to pay for the rice and beans he scoffed and went back inside. At the end of the day, we paid $18 for 3 veggie tacos, and a taco salad that was literally watery ice berg lettuce, tomatoes, a few veggies, and a little guac. Some chips thrown on top too. We were on the way to Leavenworth from Snoqualmie. I got 3 tacos - 2 al pastor and 1 carne asada. My husband got 2 carne asada tacos and 1 lengua. They gave us 6 packets of sauces to go along with our order. I wish I only got two because they gave SO MUCH meat per taco. Not a bad thing at all but i just got so full. So good and so worth the money! As for handling covid, they hand a hand sanitizer station. They also only allow 2 small tables of people in but they deliver it to your car stall too if there's no more space. They sanitize between visitors. read more

A friend and I stopped by this place on our way to Wenatchee; it had a lot of positive reviews and the food looked authentic. I ordered first, getting 4 carne asada tacos with cheese, my friend ordered after me, getting 3 tacos with beans and rice. They served her first, about 2 minutes after sitting down and then served me about 10 minutes later. I was already irritated because the people who ordered after her were already served too. When I finally got my food, it was soaking in oil. As soon as I picked up the taco, it was dripping with oil onto my plate and my taco shell was tearing because it was so soggy. I asked someone to replace my order and told them why. He said okay and brought back another plate with only 2 tacos instead of 4 and asked if that was okay. At that point, my expectations weren't high so I said yeah, whatever. I picked up another taco and it was dripping in oil again. I wasted $11 on a dinner I didn't even get to eat. We were very pleasantly surprised with Rio Bravo and it's become one of our local staples for takeout. The location is super convenient with plenty of parking. We've both tried a few items off the menu and have been happy with everything so far. Wonderful real Mexican restaurant with plenty of parking. This is a great place to head to from the Seattle area as a great order and wander around the parks in North Bend. We had the smothered tacos with beef, vegetables, and pork. This isn't the infamous(?) Family Restaurant. This is spices and taste. We also ordered a few other street tacos. So, yes, we went long on tacos assuming that tasting lots of the fillings would be fun and this didn't disappoint. After hiking Twin Falls nearby, Amy and I popped in here for lunch. Right across the street from Scott's Frosty Freeze. You order at the counter, and they bring the food out to you. They've got indoor seating, they've got 2 picnic with no cover outside, and then 2 other picnic tables under a canopy. We ordered: - El pastor burrito - El pastor enchiladas - Horchata I thought my burrito was going to come smothered since they asked if I wanted red or green sauce, but when I got it, it was a let down when it came wrapped in foil. I asked the server about it, and he said they don't do that. But there's a pic on here that has a smothered burrito.... hmm.... anyways, going on with their food, their burrito was good, wish there was more meat in it though. I love Rio Bravo. Since 2020, with Covid, we ordered take out many times. Great food, lovely owner and staff!

We stumbled upon this spot while on a road trip to the mountains. We made a pitstop for an appetizer and cocktails. The Bloody Mary is a must try! It was topped with a delicious bacon wrapped stuffed jalapeño! We also tried the nachos topped with cheese, beans, Pico de Gallo, black olives, jalapeno's, sour cream and guacamole. We choose taco meat as our protein. So delicious! The service is fast and friendly. There is a large outdoor seating area with picnic tables but it's not covered or heated. The mountains views are beautiful, and worth soaking up over drinks and snacks! read more

Stopped on the way back from a ski trip. Nothing better to fill you up after 4 hours of exercise! Delicious food. I got the enchiladas plate (1 carnitas, 1pastor and 1 chorizo) with an over easy egg on top. The server was very polite and seemed stoked about my order, assuring me that I made the right choice. We went on Sunday at 2pm, the line wasn't long. They have 7 big picnic tables, so plenty space for families and keeping the 6ft of distancing between tables. Unfortunately, when we were there 4 of the 7 tables were occupied by couples that were just drinking without eating food. The rest of us were waiting at least 20 min to get a table with the food in our hand. I hope the restaurant divide the section for eating and just drinking, otherwise unthoughtful people station themselves for a long time like an in an open bar. All very nice and made us feel welcome. But we expected the food to be more authentic. And it may be partly my fault. First off, I came here to try their taquitos. I saw a photo of it on Yelp and was like, yep.. need those in my belly asap! So first impression took a huge dive when I see a sign that says Taquitos only on Wednesday. Say what!? Never seen that before. A mexican staple at most establishments only made one day a week. Okaaaay? I then ordered 2 taco plates with rice and beans. One with beef, one with pork. What I did NOT realize was, I should have said carne asada. Because what I got was ground beef tacos like you would see at taco bell or taco time. Who eats ground beef soft tacos? So weird to me. Maybe if someone says beef, the person taking the order should confirm they're not an idiot like me and meant to order carne asada. We tried them anyway and while they weren't horrible, the amount of grease rolling out of the taco made our stomachs feel a bit gross. On top of that, the beans were just okay (not refried) and I am convinced the rice is some rice a roni package. I don't know but I was transported to my childhood eating it. Their hot sauces stole the show for me. I really appreciate it when someone provides that runny nose, sweat beads on forehead inducing sauce that compliments a dish. It really helped the al pastor tacos bring their rating up. While not a horrible experience overall, the fact that not a single Mexican was here eating and everyone was white, kind of tells you the palates they are catering to.
