This is what they call a Burrito Special
    Amy S.

The first thing I noticed walking in the door was that it's over priced. The host did not speak English so it was difficult to communicate my order to him. The tortilla chips were stale. I ordered a carnitas Burrito special and what they actually serve is a pile of carnitas with lettuce and guacamole on a plate in the shape of a burrito, but it's not a burrito. You can't call it a burrito if it's not wrapped in a flour tortilla! Save your money and go to the food truck down the street

I always get a steak burrito. Today was Tuesday and I got the taco special- steak. The meat is sooo tender and $7 for 3 tacos on Tuesday is a steal! I'll be coming here more on Tuesday. The food is plentiful. Be sure to get a punch card. They used to have a truck in Bellevue but I think it's in Juanita

Our go to spot in Duvall for burritos! My favorite is the chicken and husband's is the asada. We've been here quite a few times to eat in as well as take out and the quality and flavors have been consistent. The horchata is usually fresh and delicious. The staff is very friendly and provide efficient service. There are a few tables and bar height counters and stools for seating and plenty of parking in front of the restaurant. Overall, we will be back for more! Happy eating!

This is as authentic as it gets in Duvall. It's a good casual Mexican food place. The service is slow so order ahead of you are in a hurry.

This is a cute little family owned place. Authentic and fresh. Service was nice and friendly. Order to pickup was less than ten minutes. I got the paleo bowl with carne asada and added pineapple and grilled onions. The pineapple was fresh and chunky. Huge helping of guacamole on top. Serving was huge. I thought I'd save half for later but ended up eating all of it. Delicious.

    Green Salsa - pretty spicy!

I'm always on the search for a good, quick Mexican food spot, and Amono's might fit the bill occasionally. I drove over here on a rainy, lazy, late Friday morning - around 10:30AM - I was sick, so my schedule was all messed up. The place is inside a bluish-gray colored strip mall, between a sports bar on one end and Duvall auto parts on the other. Unfortunately, they have small trees along the road that block you from being able to see many of the signs as you're driving by. Parking was super easy - it was a weird time, so no one was there. I walked in and was immediately greeted by a friendly person walking to the back of the kitchen. Nice! They serve breakfast until 11:00AM, so I decided to get a breakfast burrito instead of lunch. I decided on the chorizo and egg burrito. The menu described it at "Mexican pork sausage, eggs, beans, cheese & pico de gallo." Perfect! I love chorizo - it's so rich, greasy, and heavily seasoned that you can put it in anything and make it great. As I ordered, I didn't feel welcome anymore - the person taking my order seemed like I was in inconvenience as I parted with my $7.50. (PS: They take cards and cash, using a modern terminal). They quickly made my burrito - it maybe took 2-3 minutes - it was freshly made and came out piping hot. They gave me to option to add a little cup of salsa - red or green. I asked for the hotter one and they gave me the green one - interesting. The burrito itself was a great size. I couldn't imagine it being bigger. The flavors went really well together. Beans aren't usually something I seek out in a breakfast burrito, but it definitely made the whole thing heartier and more interesting than potatoes. It was solid. I think the chorizo missed the mark slightly. Maybe it was just more "sausage" and less "grease with flavor" - which could definitely be seen as a good thing in some cases. It was just less greasy than I was hoping for. The green salsa definitely packed a punch! Very interesting, and super flavorful. I added it throughout my burrito experience and it added some much needed moisture. Overall, the service was a little lackluster (which other Yelpers note as well), and the burrito wasn't EXACTLY what I was looking for, but everything was tasty. I'd definitely try the other breakfast burritos one of these days. I'm also excited to try them out again for lunch or dinner.

The fish tacos were bad. The white fish was hard/dense and unseasoned. Otherwise the other tacos were good.

Great food, welcoming vibe, and an awesome brunch experience all around. We'll definitely be back!

Monroe, Washington, April 2026…read more This colorful building is located on the main street in downtown Monroe. The minute you walk in you are greeted immediately. An older gentleman and a younger guy were quick to tell us we could sit wherever we wanted as it was a Sunday evening. Booths line the wall and there are about four tables in the middle of the restaurant. Very small, but very colorful and extremely friendly staff. We were quickly asked for a drink order and they brought chips and salsa. The chips were a perfect thin yet crunchy texture. The salsa was very flavorful. It had chunks of onions and lots of cilantro. However, I wish the salsa was spicier. We both ordered chicken and beef enchiladas à la crema. The presentation was nice and I'm so glad there was no lettuce decorating my plate. My whole beans came in a little tortilla cup but the rice lacked flavor. It taste more like a puréed risotto. The enchiladas were covered in the cream sauce that also had cheese. There was no flavor to the cream sauce and the chicken was extremely dry. I liked the flavor of the whole beans. They don't give you a full basket of chips when you sit down. So we asked for more as they were delicious. But then we received only a quarter of a basket this second time. They don't post prices of the soda or the drinks. When we inquired to see a bar menu, they said they had none that we could order anything we want. We asked the price of a particular drink and he said don't worry. When I receive my bill, my non alcoholic bottle of Heineken was $7.25. I think that is outrageous for a nonalcoholic beer. I will give this place three stars because the chicken was tough and dry. The cream sauce was boring and the salsa needs spice.

First of all, this used to be an Italian restaurant. When it reopened as a breakfast place I asked…read moreif the reason they kept the same name was so they didn't have to pay for a new lit sign, and I was told that was correct--makes sense as those signs aren't cheap. The problem here is that in keeping the same name the reviews and overall rating reflect both the previous Italian and the current breakfast restaurants, which doesn't provide a realistic overall view of it. It's also why it's still being reported as closed. This might be more of a Yelp problem but it's still nevertheless a problem. Regardless, I gave two stars and that's being generous. The waiter was friendly and the service prompt but that's only a small part of the equation. The main breakfast dishes contain four eggs which sounds generous but really, who eats four eggs in one sitting? The only "light" options are for "seniors and children"; there was no omelet offered there and those options are only for one egg. Weird that the choices are too much or too little. I was able to ask for a two-egg omelet and the waiter was gracious by offering me a $2 discount though the cook still used four eggs. That would have been fine but what I got wasn't a traditional omelete as everyone knows it. I asked for link sausage and swiss cheese and it was really a kind of scramble--it wasn't an omelet at all, it was flat and the combination of eggs and cheese seemed to lead me to believe that the eggs may have been underdone. There was either way too much cheese or it was of inferior quality (maybe both). Either way it was unappetizing and I barely ate any of it. For a breakfast of this size I would expect two pieces of toast and got only one. I asked for the hash browns to be crispy and they weren't. My wife got the senior scramble with cheddar and bacon, and the menu wasn't clear about the meat--she thought the bacon would be on the side but it was actually in the scramble. She said it was just ok. With the tip it came to close to $50 (with two cups of coffee, which was ok), which is still too much for a breakfast that was lacking in quality. The menu is enormous and the other breakfast and lunch items sounded interesting, but this first experience doesn't instill a lot of confidence for anything else they offer, to me at least. Readers may feel differently based on the other, more positive reviews for the breakfasts seen here but based on this visit we probably won't be back, and if nothing else be forewarned that what they call an omelet just isn't.

The deck off the back of the restaurant was fantastic, I just wished anything would have matched that energy. We ordered 2 jalapeno Margaritas, and 2 "fresh natural" margaritas. They brought out chips and salsa and beans to us following our orders. The salsa I am not sure how it qualify as salsa. It was more like a can of stewed tomatoes. No spice, no flavor. The beans were the same. Plain, nothing to them. While fajitas had been walked by many times we opted not to get food. After letting the server know we were not ordering food, I believe the manager came over to ask if everything was ok. We were like yeah, we just came by for drinks. Both the server and the manager seemed annoyed after that. After receiving our drinks they were to be nice, just plain disappointing. Jalapeño margaritas are my drink of choice and this one fell well short of the mark. There were jalapeños in it, but there was zero spice and a very strong flavor of just the margarita mix. My wife enjoyed her fresh margarita, but upon receiving the bill the fresh margarita was a $4 add on for the fresh lime juice? $65 for 4 margaritas in pounder glasses. Maybe it's because they were not good that I find that as steep. Thanks Monroe El Paraiso, we won't be back.
