Charming Pleasant convenient and casual place to get some great new Mexican style food.

    Breakfast Tacos. Delicious

Y'all have heard of breakfast burritos but I love the breakfast tacos. Now Rio Bravito makes breakfast burritos and they look tasty. My go to is the breakfast taco. Tonight I had two Al Pastor and one steak. Sooo Good. It was a beautiful but chilly day. Just didn't feel like making dinner and thought Rio Bravito my belly is so glad we did. The tacos come with a choice of salsas; red (mild), green (medium) and a burnt reddish/orange (hotter medium). Yum Service is wonderful

Smothered burrito... wet burrito? All the same, it's what goes inside that matters most. Overall, fairly tasty, plenty of melted cheesiness, a little too much rice, a little skimpy on beans, and definitely needed more Al pastor meat, especially for the price. Meat was almost non existent, when it needed much more. A quick meal between meetings, my coworkers carne asada tacos, also a bit skimpy on the meat. Service was very friendly and the food came out quickly. Next time will ask for more. Plenty of interesting choices on the menu as well. Not much more to say. Yelping on, and Cheers!

Trying to find some quick and affordable food after a day of skiing at Snoqualmie and this spot came up. Let me begin by saying, I will definitely be visiting again! All day "breakfast" menu that includes a breakfast burrito (why are these so hard to find in Seattle?!). Vegetarian options on the menu as well. Plates come out HOT. This food is fresh! What more could you ask for? Their menu flaunts a couple of weekly specials like Tamales and Chile Relleno Friday. But you'll find burritos, enchiladas, salads, tacos, and even some authentic menudo. Be sure to give this place a go. After spending too much money at Snoqualmie it was a great bang for our buck and we are walking away with leftovers.

What a win for Snoqualmie Valley! I had a meeting in the area, so decided to check out Rio Bravito, which was nearby. As soon as I walked in I was warmly greeted by the employee who was happy to make recommendations for this first-timer. With his recommendation, I ordered the Sopes with pork and the Bean Dip. I took a seat and didn't know that they actually bring you your food to your table, which was a nice surprise. They are very hospitable here. When I received my sopes, the employee also brought three bottles of different salsas and explained how spicy each was. I enjoyed my lunch! The sopes weren't something I've had before, but can see why it's popular. The corn base that the meat and toppings are on is placed on a thick tortilla, not like a taco or tostada. It was good and would recommend trying if you've had a sope before. The spicy pork that I chose with my sope was good, and liked that it came with shredded lettuce and sour cream. The different salsas helped bring out the flavor, and would recommend trying the spiciest salsa. The bean dip was solid and there was a large portion of it. I had to take most home, which actually made for a bomb leftover lunch the next day, with its melted cheese once reheated! Chips that came with were lackluster, as the texture was too soft on some of the chips, so didn't have that crunch you'd expect from chips. I learned that Rio Bravito is an eatery that serves New Mexican cuisine, which I'm not familiar with, so it was especially nice to have lunch here. When I was dining in I noticed that the employees recognized a lot of repeat customers and overheard that they recently went through a renovation of this space. If on Snoqualmie Ridge, I definitely recommend trying Rio Bravito. It's a welcoming eatery with the friendliest staff and New Mexican eats worth exploring.

Is this place owned by the same people at Rio Bravo in North Bend? The website here is for Rio Bravo, but I don't see where it mentions a 2nd location.

Yes, and definitely as good. Slightly different menu, but will make some of the items at North Bend upon request. Great food!

People speak about bland food and just general disappointment. My concern being a Mexican food lover is I have never heard anyone mention this place, which just lead me to believe it's a solid local spot, but not a destination location. No one appears like the ground beef. No many Mexican places even do ground beef anymore, but guess what, ground beef is my favorite, but based on reviews it should be avoided here, so I did so. I went with Carnitas and can tell you it wasn't the worst, but I had had much better. I like a juicy burrito. Yes, they get messy to hold, but worst-case scenario, you get a knife and fork and dig in. You may ask what a juicy burrito is and I'll explain. It's a burrito with either the juice of bean broth, or very moist rice or meat. Unfortunately, nothing here was moist. Also, the burrito had lettuce in it. That's nota burrito, it's a soft taco. A burrito is protein, beans, rice, cheese, sour cream and guacamole. In this case sour cream and guacamole was extra. The people here were friendly, the pricing was fair and the portion was reasonable, I just didn't find the food satisfying. This place is better than fast food and the average truck, but I'm sure every major city in America serves a burrito better than this. I encountered several people working here that struggled with English, which tells me they have to be deep in the culture, but these are not the recipes of true southern Mexicans. I wouldn't tell you to avoid this place, but I also can't recommend them. We drove 30 miles to get here and it was anything but worth the drive.

We went for lunch and were seated quickly. I had a frozen strawberry margarita and we split chicken mole enchiladas and chicken taquitos. The mole was satisfying and peanut butter forward and the taquitos were crispy. This isn't necessarily gourmet food - but it is hearty and satisfying and there is a place for that! The booths were spacious - the only issue with ambience were other guests - a loud family that all seemed to have a cold. Not the restaurants fault! Next time we will sit in the bar.

The restaurant feels a bit dated (there are ads under the tables for businesses that no longer exist), but it's pretty aligned with what you would expect from a family Mexican restaurant. I found it to be clean. I enjoyed my taco salad with shredded beef. The flavor and texture was perfect! My husband's combo plate with a taco and two enchiladas were also very good. Note: There is only one entrance to this restaurant, and you can't access it from Bendigo Blvd or the Safeway shopping center. You must enter from SW Mt Si Blvd between the coffee stand and Burger King sign where there's a giant X on the road, indicating not to block the driveway.

The coolest thing about this spot seems to be their rotating specials year round! The lucky charms cold foam my book bestie described from their last year's St. Patrick's day menu sounded drool-worthy. I was super excited to try their Valentine's day offerings. The woman at the counter who took my order was so sweet. She helped me put together the perfect custom drink for me: a 16 oz oat milk dark chocolate mocha with raspberry syrup and raspberry cold foam on top! It was delicious, I loved how fluffy and sweet the cold foam was and the dark chocolate in the mocha was delectably rich. I was also super excited about their diverse pastry selection! I've never seen a raspberry cornetto before and I was super excited to order it. I loved that it was literally like having a croissant with jam which is one of my fave breakfasts! One of my pet peeves is when croissants are too flaky and hard to tear apart with your fingers, but this one was super easy to tear apart and eat, though it still was fairly messy. The cosy atmosphere made it easy for me and my book bestie to spend hours chatting over our drinks. I love the huge windows that allow for so much natural light an incredible view of Mount Sci. I'd definitely love to come back with my watercolours and paint it. Since this is my book bestie's fave coffee shop spot, I'm sure we'll be back here soon! I'm super excited to keep exploring their seasonal drinks.

Extremely Disappointing Customer Service…read more We stopped at Huxdotter Coffee in North Bend on Friday and ordered a 16 oz PBJ Smoothie, a 16 oz Mango Smoothie, and a ham and cheese croissant through the drive-through. At the window, we received the croissant and the 16 oz PBJ Smoothie, but were handed a 12 oz Mango Smoothie. We immediately pointed out that the drink was the wrong size. Rather than simply acknowledging the mistake and correcting the order, the employee told us that the order had been entered as a 12 oz drink. We reiterated that we had specifically ordered a 16 oz Mango Smoothie. Instead of saying something as simple as, "I'm sorry, we'll remake that for you," we were told that she would have to refund the original charge and then charge us again for the 16 oz drink. Seriously? Apparently, Huxdotter has developed an innovative new approach to customer service: If we make a mistake, the customer gets to fix it. The mistake wasn't ours. We ordered a 16 oz drink, and the employee or the person taking the order entered it incorrectly. Yet instead of taking responsibility for the error and providing the customer service one would reasonably expect, we were essentially given a bureaucratic explanation of why correcting their mistake was going to require additional transactions. We were on our way to an appointment and didn't have time to wait around sorting out an issue that should have taken less than a minute to resolve. We simply said, "Never mind," and left. What is especially disappointing is that this wasn't about the cost of a smoothie. It was about how the situation was handled. Mistakes happen. Good businesses acknowledge them, apologize, and make them right. Telling the customer that they have to go through a refund and repurchase process because the business entered the order incorrectly is simply poor customer service. Unfortunately, this experience left such a bad impression that we won't be going back. There are plenty of coffee shops willing to treat their customers better.
