I was feeling overwhelmed by the endless paint color choices, but Kristian's instincts were spot on. The man is the guru of hue! He quickly and confidently identified the perfect palette for my space and also advised on wallpaper as well. Beyond that, Kristian helped my partner and me select window treatments and even went the extra mile to deliver draperies to our home in Washington Heights. Aside from his excellent taste and eye for detail, Kristian is incredibly personable and just a joy to be around. I couldn't recommend him more highly - he truly made the decorating process so much easier and his advice and counsel have helped create a beautiful home. Thank you Kristian!

Someone suggested reaching out to Kristian Middlebrook at Ring's End to help me select paint colors. It was great, since he comes to your house and sees the space--something that's so important. I am incredibly grateful for him and can't imagine having done this project without his help. He is so talented and has such a knack for color selection. The colors were spot-on on the first try! He's basically like having your very own designer. We started with paint color, and I liked him so much that we moved on to wallpaper, then window treatments, and even fabric to recover two chairs. I love it all. In addition to his many talents, he is also a pleasure to work with and makes the process easy and fun. I can't say enough good things about Kristian--he is AMAZING!

The education center led by Kevin Meskill keeps all of us up to date on code changes and more. The products cost a little more but the quality is there. Yesterday I needed 24 4x4x8s, you just grabbed from the pile and the quality was there. I recently went to a big box store and after spending fifteen minutes picking and choosing I still had to compromise. Great company led by a great staff.

I still feel like I get a bargain because the sales people know their stuff more than any others I have met over the 37 years I have owned homes (that have needed lots of work!) -- and they care enough to share their knowledge, stating confidently the best product choice or guiding us through the pros and cons of various product options!! Over the years, the knowledgable and kind sales team has rescued me from numerous close calls, wrong decisions that could have really cost me. Rob (the manager) tops the list with knowing the right product for the application, sharing even the smallest details that contribute to the best result. Dave helped advise about doors/windows,trims, etc., and recently, Rich, the paint department manager, saved the day when a couple of painters proposed sanding our cedar shake shingles as part of stain prep and Rich correctly said never to do that, it would remove the shakes' texture and its natural beauty. They view their jobs as essential purveyors of knowledge to the customer, not just to make sales. How lucky we are in CT to have this tremendous resource!
