Dave helped advise about doors/windows,trims, etc., and recently, Rich, the paint department manager, saved the day when a couple of painters proposed sanding our cedar shake shingles as part of stain prep and Rich correctly said never to do that, it would remove the shakes' texture and its natural beauty. They view their jobs as essential purveyors of knowledge to the customer, not just to make sales. How lucky we are in CT to have this tremendous resource!
