After much fanfare from a few managers at the store, they were able to address the issue. All is well that ends.

A search of their website indicates nothing for Muslim or Hindu holidays either. Might make sense in a place with no diversity, but the Commack area has lots of diversity. I'll stick to Michaels.

I waited on line to purchase some things(that btw, some of the items I needed were damaged already) for at least 20 minutes. The cashier seemed friendly to everyone before me but when my turn came he was anything but. The next day I returned back to the store to return the things I bought the previous day bc I ended up using something else for what i was making. Upon arriving, the line to purchase something was down the store isle (only 2 cashiers again) so, I decided to shop first. I finally get to the register with the receipt for the items from my previous purchase & immediately the cashier calls her manager over. She points out the damaged items & I stepped in and said that this is how i purchased them yesterday. The manager then gave me a nasty look & said that usually the cashier would have made a note saying it was damaged. Mind you, this "manager " was one of the cashiers working the previous day. I simply stated that the cashier said nothing & that is how he sold it to me. He did finally let me return the items but a terrible experience to say the least. I NEVER make reviews about places, but this was just unacceptable & I will not be returning to hobby lobby ever again. They claim to be a store of "faith" yet it doesn't seem like they make their staff follow in the same footsteps. Practice what you preach people!!!

There are gray, black, & white tile floors, done in a pattern, but also, the coolest, hand-painted, matching wood floors, so it's hard to tell which are the tiles & which are the wood--JUST BEAUTIFUL! Love that! Reminds me of Escher (artwork). Service was friendly. I think there are only two, tall stools by the window, which faces the street. Overall, I'd really rather keep this place all to myself :). But, I'm sharing. It's a very nice bit of calm, great baked goods, and very good coffee, in a small space, I'd say, leave your "I'm in a rush" attitude at the curb. This place will remind you what it's like to relax, and actually savor & enjoy your coffee break time. (Hey, rushing New Yorkers, when is the last time you actually stopped to smell the coffee??!!) SO, TRY 'N KEEP IT A SECRET, OKAY??!! ;)

Perfect for a quick take out good quality coffee and pastries.
