They used tempered glass not ceramic-only found this out when I went to a different place to have it replaced again. Richie lied and said I told him otherwise and said he remembered---total scum bag in my book. PS- they also screwed when they put the glass in by covering the hole for the hardware- but after 3 months of waiting, I was just going to deal with that--until it shattered (NOTE: Richie was the one who told me to take out the hardware)...
