It wouldn't be surprising if you haven't heard of this delicious taqueria that's located in the heart of Cooper City. You'll find it tucked away in a small farmers market, sharing the space with some other cool businesses. Whether you've heard about it before or not, it's a great spot that'll satisfy your cravings. It should be noted that they've recently gone viral, causing a spike in their business that already ran on limited hours of operation. This has caused an influx of customers that's led to some incredibly long lines. This taqueria is essentially a food stand so they can only make so much at a time with their given space. While the incredible efforts of the kitchen & staff can't be denied, it's hard to justify 20+ minute wait times for street tacos. With that said, the food here is everything you dream of when thinking about tacos. I knew I was in for a good time when I saw them making the corn tortillas by hand. I ordered a good variety of tacos & a quesadilla to see what they were all about. I immediately noticed they load these tortillas up with plenty of your desired meat choice. The onions, cilantro & guacamole were so fresh. The steak & al pastor were tender & super flavorful. They grill the tortilla nicely & thickness of it helps keep everything intact. However, the real star here was the quesadilla. This thing was the size of the plate & piled high with all the fixings. There were copious amounts of cheese perfectly melted throughout. Each bite was an explosion of flavor. I could go on & on about something this delicious so all I'll say is you shouldn't skip it. The Mexican food served here is some of the best I've ever had & that's a lot to say as someone who travels south Florida looking for the best taco spots. I have a big complaint, however, that won't let me give them 5 stars. I noticed right away there weren't prices listed anywhere. I also noticed that these were THE MOST EXPENSIVE street tacos I've ever had. At $52 for 4 tacos, a quesadilla & 2 drinks my jaw about dropped to the floor. No to-go menus, nothing on the menu above the register & nothing itemized on the handheld device used by the employee. To make things even sketchier, when I asked for my receipt I was told the machine is broken & they can't give me one. Being a manager in the food industry I understand hiccups happen, but not being able to give proper receipts with NO PRICES LISTED is a horrible business practice. The food was great but this alone is enough to keep me from ever coming back. I hope this changes because I want them to succeed but it's hard to say in good faith to go somewhere when I can't even tell you how much I paid per taco/quesadilla.

Chicken quesadillas and Chicken Tacos

The service was nice and the chicken tacos and chicken quesadillas were delicious! Came here on May 2, 2026. They also have nice food trucks and a small farm attraction for all ages to enjoy!

I'm giving this place four stars because the food was good and the tortillas were homemade but I have a real issue with the price of the food. To begin with, no prices for anything were listed anywhere and when I asked the man who took our order for a receipt he said the machine wasn't working. Seriously?! The price ended up being $52.00 for 4 tacos, a quesadilla, a soursop (a delicious tropical fruit) drink and a coke. We added guac to the tacos so I'm sure that increased the price a bit but $52 is insane! I don't like the whole vibe of not listing prices. Thankfully the food was really good, I had a steak and a pork taco and a bite of the steak quesadilla which was amazing. My drink was perfectly refreshing. They have a variety of sauces that you can help yourself to. There was a bit of confusion with my order so we ended up with a free taco which I wasn't sorry about considering how much we paid. There was a bit of a line, apparently word has gotten out on social media about their delicious food but it moved pretty quickly and was much longer by the time we left. Personally I think people should wait a bit until the hoopla dies down because it's definitely not worth more than a 15 minute wait in line and is heard that people were waiting over an hour. It's a nice area to eat and enjoy your tacos but I can't imagine how it would be on a hot Florida day. We were lucky that it was a cool day when we went.

Look for the Mexico flag at the Pembroke Lakes Night Market on Thursdays. Delicious tacos and refreshing strawberry lemonade. Everything was fresh and each ingredient on point! Friendly family affair, can't wait to eat again.

Finally tried after coming here 3x. Went to the new location, plenty of parking but its in a field with dust blowing around. Waited like 45 min in line. Food was good but expensive. Definately not worth waiting in line again, no taco is. If they figure out a better system, id might come back

I paid $25 before tip for the "unlimited tacos" option (base price + chips + drink). After finishing my first plate, I went back up for another serving. The employee stops me and says I have to pay another $16 because he "saw on the cameras" that my girlfriend ate a couple scraps off my plate with chips. They're literally watching security cameras to stop people from sharing a bite of food. At a taco bar. That level of pettiness says everything about how this place is run. For the record -- I ate one plate and was satisfied. I wasn't trying to take advantage of anything. They still tried to charge me $32+ for what they call "unlimited" tacos. On top of that, the guy was preparing food while holding a dirty house phone, touching it, then going straight back to making food with no gloves or hand washing. Completely unsanitary. Even another customer nearby told me to "chill" because the situation was so absurd. A paying customer gets lectured and accused on camera over a couple of leftover pieces of taco meat on chips? Ridiculous. I won't be back, and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone who expects basic customer service, professionalism, or food safety. There are far better taco spots in Broward that don't treat customers like they're trying to steal from them.

We were in the area and found Chilacos Tacos, located just 5 minutes away from Sawgrass Mills mall…read more There are many different menu options to choose from including appetizers, tacos, burritos, quesadillas and even a taco bowl. We ordered steak tacos (listed as one of the favorites), quesabirria, spicy margarita and the limonada de mango biche. The drinks were good but the food was okay. The quesabirria was better than the tacos, but the birria sauce just looked and tasted like oily water. The steak tacos are a favorite, but was unfortunately not mine. The steak was chewy and you weren't able to taste the truffle chimichurri. The tacos were also filled with oil. We gave it the benefit of the doubt and thought it may be some sort of sauce but confirmed that it was indeed oil when it started dripping out of the taco. We placed paper napkins on the tray and it absorbed the oil but there was still a lot in the tacos. I didn't notice it at first when I took the picture, but you are able to see the oil in the tacos and the tray...there was a lot! This was our first time at Chilacos and while it may have been a one-off experience, there are other taco places to visit.

It was perfect and they were willing to do whatever needed to be done to keep the us happy. The birria was incredible I just got Chicharron my brain is still processing how good it was. Maybe a little salty, but even though they were super yummy sauces on the table I didn't need to use any of them but I got sidetracked by her need for a key. The ambience was comfortable, casual, well lit and simple. Camilo took great care of us and answered all of our questions. We left completely stuffed and very happy. If I had to Nick pick, I would say that the lack of liquor license deter us from drinking like we wanted to and I wish I didn't have to ask if the margarita was wine based because we almost ordered it and I'm glad we didn't now that I know. Otherwise, we were extremely happy and I will be back often

The margaritas have some really nice flavors to them and my favorite one to get is the prickly pear which has prickly pear puree, lime juice and el tesoro banco in it. It is on the sweet side but has a nice kick from the tequila! I like that they aren't skimpy with the amount they put in from the ones that I have had! I recently went for brunch and can say their sangria is also refreshing and you get a nice glass filled to the top! I had the cast iron skillet pancake and the flavor was amazing and the portion was huge! Their tacos are good but I will only get them during happy hour prices because they are a bit on the smaller side for the price, in my opinion. The service has always been stellar when I am here and I like that there is a nice amount of seating scattered around the place. I also like that there is an option to sit inside out outside in their patio area or at the bar in high top seats. Prices are pretty decent and their drinks and food are delicious. Being within walking distance is a blessing and a curse on Fridays for happy hour lol!
