That kind of attentiveness is rare--you usually have to look for a manager, but here he was front and center, making sure everything was perfect from the start. The restaurant was busy (always a good sign!), but we were seated quickly and treated with such kindness and efficiency. The service overall was excellent--friendly, attentive, and just a great vibe all around. And the FOOD... absolutely incredible. I had the skirt steak with rice, beans, and salad--10/10, full of flavor and cooked perfectly. My friend had the fish and loved it just as much. Everything tasted fresh, well-seasoned, and made with care. Between the amazing food and the outstanding service, this place is a gem. I'm always hesitant to try tres leches because there are so many ways to prepare it. This way was more classic and simple with just the cake and the 3 milks at the bottom. It came served in a square dessert cup. It felt a little small for the price but the taste was worth it. My only constructive feedback for the cake is that the cake would be even better if it was a little less dry as far as texture but that can be hard to balance as you don't want the cake to become too wet over time due to it soaking in the milk. I can't wait to revisit: I'll be getting the tres leches again and would love to try the El Guey.

We stopped by on a Monday not realizing they were closed, and as we were walking in, the manager Pablo kindly let us know. But instead of just turning us away, he went above and beyond in a way you truly don't see often anymore. He took the time to recommend another nearby restaurant, gave us keychains, and then--on our way out--stopped us to ask our names and told us he would take care of our entire bill at the next place. That level of generosity and kindness completely blew us away. You can tell right away that this is a place that truly cares about people, not just business. Because of Pablo, we will absolutely be coming back to La Finca on a day they're open--and we're actually looking forward to it even more now. If this is how they treat people when they're closed, I can only imagine how amazing the experience is when they're open. Highly recommend supporting a business like this.
