This is an amazing place to be. Welcoming staff, generous serving portion size, friendly service and lively atmosphere. We enjoyed watching the guacamole prep and we loved the freshness taste of our appetizer. Our cocktails drinks were excellent. The meal we picked has the best flavor we ever have tried. The finale came out as a surprise as we had the birthday dessert accompanied with music performance by the wait staff. A recommended place to dine in or even to take out excellent foods.
This is my favorite restaurant but I geniunely do not understand why the cashier/worker in the bakery section always has a nasty attitude when taking orders. We were the only people in the entire restaurant and we were just discussing what to purchase and when we asked a single question she looked visibly annoyed. Why are you working in a place that requires so much customer communication if you appear to hate it every-time a customer even opens their mouth? Es un falto de respeto y ojalá aprenda a comunicarse mejor con las personas. Apart from that, the food is always great, it's just the service that is so lackluster (from the bakery) and makes me not want to come back.
Went here for a Mother's Day breakfast and it did not dissapoint. We use to have Colombian breakfast quite often in Queens so we were very excited to find this spot in Mineola. It has all the Colombian classics because it is a bakery as well. If you bring kids or non adventurous eaters they also have typical American breakfast options like eggs, bacon and pancakes. There is an electronic menu which is kind of unnecessary but there are pictures for people not familiar with the cuisine. Overall great experience and will be back.
Great location. Food is always delicious. Breakfast is a real treat. So many items to choose from! Bunuelos are little balls of perfection. Empanadas are great and dipping sauce is perfect!

Lately, I've found it increasingly difficult to come across a Colombian restaurant that truly captures the essence of the cuisine. Ironically, I've passed by this place countless times -- never stopping in, always meaning to. I'm glad I finally did. It won't be my last visit.

She gave us dirty looks and acted very unprofessionally because we hadn't signed a sheet that no one had informed us about. She made us feel so unwelcome and uncomfortable that we decided to leave. I would strongly recommend providing her with customer service training, as her behavior was unacceptable and negatively impacted our experience. Unfortunately, we will not be returning.
Food here is great ! I alway order buneulos and pan de bono from here and they're always fresh and tasty, the cafe con leche is delicious and the restaurant itself makes me feel like I'm in Colombia.
If you told me Mineola had amazing Colombian food, I'd ignore your recommendations but this place is fantastic! Legit Colombian baked goods, breakfast, lunch and dinner items. And the flavors are on point. The servers are quick and there are many options for food and drinks with pics for those of us that aren't up to date with Colombian staples. Oh and it looks like a Colombian home restaurant inside. Worth a try!
Generous servings, shareable. Bandeja Paisa had thin, tender beef, pork chicharron - skin is not crunchy but still good, comes with rice and beans. Beans were tasty but a bit watery and not much beans. 2 eggs were cooked hard; we would have preferred over-easy or over-medium. Lomo a la Colombiana is grilled pork with mushroom sauce, which we asked on the side. Comes with a choice of 2 sides- we picked tostones and maduros. Staff is nice and attentive. Lively ambiance, with music playing. Very spacious indoors. Outdoor seating is very nice but better when weather is a bit cooler. Addtl. percentage for use of credit card. There is meter parking behind the restaurant - a quarter per 1/2 hr.
This place is AMAZING! Mi esposa de Medellín y yo, we tried Noches for the first time on Colombia's día de la independencia (July 20) and wow! What a meal; what a great experience. Her words: "my love, if I am ever lost, look for me here." We entered into a genuine Colombian ambiance that felt like a walk into Antioquia. Very friendly people dressed in the uniforms of the Colombian fútbol equipé. Music is just like a Colombian transfusion through your ears and right into your blood. Started with the guacamole; fresh, tasty, better than any I have ever enjoyed at Margaritas Cafe (sorry mi amigos de Mexico) with some yummy mini empanadas. Oh goodness; I knew I was going to have little space for a main course. We did persevere and I am glad we did. The Pechuga a la Colombiana is about the most delicious chicken I have ever eaten. The creamy mushroom sauce is a little too plentiful, but chicken drowning in good sauce never stopped me before. Great maduro and arroz made the little I could fit in my stomach a delicious option. My wife enjoyed the Churisquito, a gorgeous portion of skirt steak with yuca frita, frijoles rojo arroz and a little more guacamole for good measure. Good flavor, but my chicken was the better selection. No room for postres, though I'm sure they are good. The half pitcher of margaritas is large but not very strong. Better deal than ordering by the glass. The service is amazingly attentive. The prices are a little costly. But overall an excellent experience de Colombia.
Came is for a lunch with colleagues it's a nice place overall but sadly the service lacked. We wanted to sit in a both and were told no it needs to be cleaned I stead of cleaning it for us. One of the people with us asked specific questions about the soup she expressed wanting a vegetarian soup and was told one was but as soon as she got it it had beef in it. I ordered the chicken with cream sauce and shrimp. The serving of the food was huge my food was missing some salt. The side salad was delicious and the yucca fries were underwhelming they were masses and formed versus taking French yuca and deep frying it. I will give it another shot but I left quite underwhelmed.
If you're looking to have a quiet night out for dinner, this restaurant probably won't have the atmosphere you're hoping for. My only caveat! When my parents and I came, it was loud and very lively. DJ lights, salsa music and other songs in Spanish blasting, music videos playing on the screens... Come here when you are ready to unwiiiind and enjoy some delicious Colombian dishes! The cheese bread was soft and delicious with cheese baked into it without being clumpy. The salmon was nicely seasoned and the shrimp was crispy with a good amount of batter (not too much!). The drinks also have a nice presentation. Side note: Ordered the beef and chicken empanadas to-go one weekend prior. They're a good size and flavorful with or without the sauces (of which the spicy one I enjoyed the most!). The employees are very friendly and our server was happy to make some recommendations. Highly recommend dining here when you feel like the night is just getting started! I.e., don't go here if you're planning to head to bed after your meal. No, I take that back. Even if you come here before bedtime, you will feel happy and full from a good meal, so that works too lol.
We absolutely love this place . At this point we order it weekly . The food is amazing!! The chicken is perfectly cooked , the rice has this great taste as well as scent to it and the sweet plantains as some of the best I ever tried . We normally doordash this at home so unfortunately I do not know what the service or ambiance is but I'm sure it's great based off there food . We will definitely keep ordering from here we are very satisfied and the prices are great .

We absolutely love this place . At this point we order it weekly . The food is amazing!! Not really too sure as to why this place only has 3 stars on average because it is anything but mediocre. Their drinks, the music, the service and the food were incredible. For drinks we had some margaritas and shots as well. Their wings were so incredible. The sauce was great and they were super crispy. We also got their bandeja paisa which was excellent. The grilled beef / steak was cooked perfectly. The chicharron was also super flavorful and juicy. The service here is also very good. They have great music and it's always pretty packed out on the weekends. Very good spot with additional parking behind the restaurant as well. read more

When you don't feel like cooking , but want home cooked food and a relaxing atmosphere - this is your place. Beautiful aesthetic, great and professional managers, kind waiters and amazing food. As a non Spanish speaker who is learning - Sebsatian was the most patient waiter answering all of my questions in Spanish. Fiancé loved being able to watch the fútbol game as well. read more

this has become our favorite Colombian restaurant! We travel here from queens with no problem because it is totally worth it. The food is perfectly delicious every time and they give you so much food! The prices as well are very reasonable considering how much food you get. The alcoholic drinks as well are just as good they are not watered down or overally sweet and you have to try the bulldog at least once you wont regret it! if you get the double you can even share it! You will not be disappointed trust me! read more

If you want to find hair in your food and then be told that they will not give you more than a $4 discount because you "could've finished the food" and they are about to close then yes go here. If you like going to chain Colombian restaurant's take the extra 10 minutes and go to Sabor de Colombia, better service overall. This place is a dump compared to the NJ location. read more

I've been to Colombia once and guaranteed if you go into this place and close your eyes as you taste the food... you'll feel like you're in Colombia ! Parking: they have a parking lot so worry not ! Seating: outdoors and indoors! We sat indoors and felt comfortable (COVID) Food: okay so the appetizers, we got the mini empanada w/ guacamole, unfortunately they didn't make the picture because we were hungry! They were so good!!!! Cheese, chicken and beef, YUM! My mom and I got Chicken & Mar and Mar y Tierra, absolutely delicious! The prices are great! Rice and beans weren't included but we got one order and it was enough for 2 people. The beans can definitely be seasoned, they weren't great. I've tasted better. I want to say that the food was my favorite but the drinks !!!!! Oh man, my mom and I got half a pitcher of Passion fruit sangria for $23!! It was so good, we already agreed to get the pitcher next time ! Service: We went the night of Memorial Day and it was busy and packed! But the server was very honest and let us know right away that it usually wasn't like that and we were patient! The server definitely made sure we had a great first experience! I appreciated that! Being there are many Colombian places locally I measure by one thing, and one thing only: the beans and this place didn't do it for me BUT though the beans were a disappointment there were some positives: their wait staff, their breaded chicken and their picadita appetizer. The rest was in my opinion, just ok. Would I come back? Not too sure but it seems other people love them because they were full on a Monday night. no empty tables on a Monday night is impressive. My one major complaint was that my sister ordered something to go and they still added the 18% tip to it even though it was to go because there were 6 of us at the table. That seems a lot to me considering it was to go. Do I recommend? I guess you should try. You might like it, I wasn't impressed read more
The first time I ate in one of the franchises was in New Jersey.. the food was better.. just don't know if it was b/c I ate there.. I ordered to go at this location and the food was eh- too greasy! Will I go again.. maybe, but this time to dine to compare locations and service! read more

Came here for dinner the other night and had a good time. The food here is okay but I did like their bakery stuff which gave them an extra star. Which I purchased during Mother's Day. The cheese bread was delicious. And the empanadas was very flavorful. For dinner I had the chicharrones which I thought was a little bit on the crispy side. The skin was a bit hard to chew. The flavor was there though. I also ordered the spicy bbq wings which was very flavorful. The main course I had the MAR Y TIERRA SALTEADO which I thought was okay. The steak was flavorful but I should have ordered it medium rare because the pan it was on kept cooking it. The shrimp was pretty good. But what I wasn't too fond of was the fries in the dish with the sauce it made the fries soggy. But I would definitely come back to try the other dishes. read more

1000 stars!!!!! The BEST restaurant my fiancé and I have been to!! Friendly environment, greeted guest at the door. Our server Alex was amazing!! He payed attention to his customers! He made sure we had what we needed and took really good care of us. He was very friendly AND hands down, he made the best guacamole in front of us. He also made good conversation too! Food was fresh, presentable and DELICIOUS!! The DRINKS WERE ALL SO GOOD!! All staff was amazing I love how a young women would come around and made sure customers were satisfied. we will be back and will recommend to our family. We came all the way from Brooklyn! Thank you all so much for this experience! read more

Does Noches De Colombia automatically add gratuities to the check regardless the size of your party?
I went with my family of 4 and the tip was automatically included. I didn't appreciate that because the waiter we had sucked and most definitely did not deserve the close to $30 tip that was automatically included.
