Came here for an early father's day dinner didn't need to wait no more than 10 mins. Sat us very close the stage. But it was all worth it! The drinks & food were huge and very generous. We ordered the trio appetizer and it never came out. So we end up canceling the order. So the manager came over to apologize for the order and offer us a free dessert. The vibe was AWESOME! The staff was friendly Definitely coming back soon

Came here for cinco de mayo for a frozen margarita and dinner. Veronica served us beautifully despite being super busy, Oscar, please give her a raise. Delish good and drinks!

Came here for dinner and had a great experience. I was in a group of five and we ordered the beef and chicken empanadas (both delicious), a three-tiered appetizer thing and I got the pork chops for dinner. Everything was very well cooked and tasty. A tad bit heavy on the salt, but otherwise great. The entree came with a salad and a soup of sorts that was yummy. The place was pretty loud because of the music, but well maintained and the service was friendly. Would absolutely come back.

More spacious than the original in Levittown; still we waited more than an hour for a table (despite the fact that they told us 25 minutes and sent us to the bar without even taking our name). That was our first experience. Today we are back with friends for a Sunday afternoon lunch. The food is very good and the service as well. But it took a long time (and circumstances of convenience) for us to return after that first visit left such a bad taste in our mouths.

A must try Colombian restaurant in Franklin Square. My best friend and I tried the one in Levittown and we both agreed that this location was better. The chicharron with guacamole is honestly the best appetizer in the whole world. We both couldn't get enough of it and honestly it's the best thing ever. We both ordered steak dishes and we had about half our meals leftover and we love it. The service was great and the ambiance is beautiful. Definitely a must!

Came to celebrate my birthday dinner here with my family. The experience was great! From the moment you walk in, you are greeted by the staff at the reception area. The decor itself is fantastic. They have a wall of pictures of Colombian artist/famous person from different years. The waitress was nice, and accommodated a high chair for the little one. Drinks: I ordered a Michelada de Mango with Modelo beer and fell in love that I went back already 3 separate times after my birthday just to drink one! For appetizers, we ordered the Tostirron (I think that's how it's spelled)- it's tostones with chicharrón and guacamole. For entree, I ordered the carne asada con arepa. My toddler ate grilled chicken with rice and beans. (And I forgot what my husband had) The food was great and cooked to perfection. Not going to lie, I had already come once about a year ago and didn't have a great experience. My husband wanted to come back once more and I'm glad I decided to give this place another try because it was amazing. Also, the tres leches cake is delicious! I have been back 3 times since my bday dinner lol.

NY, NJ and many of its surrounding areas are filled with South American restaurants, bakeries! If there is any group that has placed their stamp in this iconic metropolis are the Colombians! There are so many colombian restaurants and bakeries to rival Miami! Yes, I went there. Sabor a Colombia is one of these places with latin ambiance, salsa playing in the background and families enjoying there homestyle meals. With a full bar, a pretty ambitious menu and a wait staff eager to please. The food is delicious and abundant, come with a date, friends, or the family but come and enjoy!

The food was mediocre the service was ok. The prices are a bit steep. The may be better off cutting portions by 1/3 along with the price.

Located in the heart of Garden City, the Rose Room is easily accessible and offers ample parking. Like so many years past, my colleagues and I are always on the hunt for that special place and experience that will elevate our holiday dinner outing. I was so pleased that The Rose Room was selected. As mentioned, the elegance and ambiance of the restaurant are pitch-perfect. The hostess, wait staff, and management all delivered top-notch service. The food was spectacular. I especially enjoyed the bacon maple stripe. My colleagues and I devoured them in seconds. I can't say enough good things about The Rose Room. That said, I am looking forward to my next visit. I would recommend adding The Rose Room to this holiday's restaurant rotation.

It's as described by others... if you're staying on site, it's worth checking out but I wouldn't make a special trip for it. We were starving and glad to see some apps on the menu, however, nothing super appealing after you've had a few drinks. We got the shrimp cocktail (3 pieces) and a small charcuterie board. Together this was over $50 before tip and overpriced. I think options are limited because they don't have a kitchen nearby.

Normally, I don't start a review on a negative but after we left and counting up all the missteps, I felt off. My wife is more forgiving, she liked the Frito Misto and Bolognese. It's hard to believe this was a BBQ spot a few years ago. The glass garage door is still in place, back in the day it was enjoyable during the spring. There's a reason why it's called Sparrow Cocktails. I ordered the Smoked Old Fashioned. Made with Angel's Envy Bourbon and wood smoked chips, this was a great cocktail before dinner. The Frito Misto had a delicate coating, it wasn't overly battered. The green dipping sauce served on the side was bland. It didn't add to the dish and was thin. The Malfalde Bolognese was a hearty portion, we were able to share this large dish between the two of us. Made with beef, veal and pork and simmered in San Marzono tomatoes, this entree satisfies all my pasta cravings. I was looking for some grated cheese, none was offered.. The Back Sea Bass special, IMHO we should have passed. My wife asked about bones and was told they de-bone the fish table side. What was served to us was a fish that was cooked well but was full of small pin bones. We passed on dessert, it was time to go. an expensive meal that doesn't warrant a return visit.

Overall, we found many of the dishes to be overly salty and oily. I ordered the rib sandwich and was disappointed because it wasn't what I expected. I anticipated an actual rib sandwich, but it appeared to be more like shredded beef and didn't have the flavor or texture of ribs. My son ordered the stuff Nutella French Toast and ended up sending them back. The eggs he was served were also quite salty. My daughter did not enjoy her burger, which was unusually thick and difficult to eat as prepared. My wife finished her meal, but she did not find it particularly enjoyable and felt the portion size was too small for the price. I think part of the issue may have been the limited Father's Day brunch menu. Had there been more options available, we might have found dishes that better suited our tastes. Additionally, dessert was not included in the package, which was somewhat disappointing. While the atmosphere and service were definite positives, the food did not meet our expectations. Based on this experience, I'm not sure if I would return.

Reservations are highly recommended. A lot of my mom friends rave about this place and I got to dine here twice with them, once for brunch and the other for dinner. The first time I came here was with my child for brunch. I got a mocktail and we ordered chicken and waffles along the unadvertised kids menu containing chicken fingers and fries. Portions for both dishes were generous and took home the leftovers. We also shared the Brussels sprouts and the infamois complimentary bread, which were really good. The second and most recent time we went was for dinner with the a huge group of moms. We shared the Caesar salad, Brussels sprouts, and general two's cauliflower, which was amazing. I had the red sangria and a taste of the Huckleberry lemonade, drinks were strong. For the entrees I ordered the salmon and once again portion was huge, took it home and the hubby ate the leftovers. Other moms ordered the frose, spicy paloma, le poulet and spicy Rigatoni. At the end we had key lime pie which tasted great but I was too full to finish it.
