    Happy Hour Bar Menu
    Hope S.

When does Happy Hour turn into almost five hours? When you're at Ensenada Bay, that's when!! A co worker mentioned this new establishment where the old Tony Cuban, then Seafood Grill On The Bay used to be. It is now a lovely, vibrant eatery only open two months, where the drinks are strong, the music is lively and the Mexican eats are delicious! We arrived for their 4p-7p happy hour around 5:15p. At first we were the only ones seated at the bar. The friendly bartender Jorge, took our drink orders and we ordered food from the HH menu. The Bar Sampler consisted of 2 empanadas, calamari and chicken wings. The wings had some kick to the them and the empanadas were tasty. The calamari was a bit too chewy for my taste but, was seasoned well. By the time Ericka our second bartender started and introduced herself, the bar was buzzing with lots of happy folks! Ericka took our two tacos and shrimp ceviche order, those dishes were both packed with savory goodness! I am looking forward to coming back here for dinner in the gorgeous dining room. The outside patio overlooking the water is closed now but, I can't wait to return when it opens in spring/summer!! Support a new business with a warm vibe, friendly staff and good food and drinks, you won't be disappointed! Thank me later.....

Would highly recommend coming to try the Happy Hour menu and Taco Tuesday tacos/margaritas and sit outside to enjoy the beautiful view of the water. There was a bit of miscommunication about the Happy Hour specials on Fridays (no longer available on Fridays but are on other weekdays), as others have mentioned, but Wilmer was responsive over email and generously resolved the issue, which we appreciated. The outdoor bartender Matt, was friendly, kind, and super helpful - he made the visit 5 stars for us. Raw Oysters and the shrimp taco were both good. The birria taco (sauce quite spicy), ribeye taco, and corn ribs were excellent. Chips and salsa were great too. The menu has a lot of creative options and we look forward to trying more items. -Amanda

Food was great, service was spectacular, this place is new and honestly I loved the decor! Beautiful and refreshing to the neighborhood. We had the prefix menu and it was great food for the price. The only downfall is the churro dessert accidentally had a kitchen mistake of adding garlic mix as a topping on the ice cream instead of a nut mix. I will definitely be coming back again even so.

Finally a classy and beautiful restaurant to enjoy that has an outdoor by the water. Food and the staff are superb very attentive and very professional. A big recognition to the best waitress and waitress to Wilmer and Hillary.

Our server appeared overwhelmed throughout the evening, which resulted in a few ordered items being forgotten and limited attentiveness. The atmosphere, however, was the highlight of the experience. The live band from 6:00-8:00 PM was outstanding, the crowd was diverse, and the sunset created the perfect backdrop. Overall, it was a favorable experience and a great destination to enjoy good music, take in the sunset, and simply relax and unwind.

Apparently, there was an event that night and the evening turned into a party night on a Tuesday, LOL. I ordered some chicken tacos with fries and my friend ordered some wings. We both ordered rum punch and everything was good and hit the spot. The DJ was playing some great music and we were up on our feet dancing after we ate. The staff were real sweet and accommodating. This is definitely a place to chill and unwind. We only saw the bar menu so I cant speak for the indoor menu and other available items. I would return to check out some other menu items and hear some good music.

Great view on a sunny day. In the middle of the restaurant is an outdoor parking area. It doesn't look like many people use it/are allowed to. I personally loved the music- reggae, dancehall, soca, hip-hop & afrobeats but the volume is high so it's not a place for talking. Unfortunately, people don't dance here either, but they do smoke hookah. I don't, but it didnt bother me because we were outside. I did enjoy my steak and potatoes meal. ~$32 and a small portion, no veggies, my friend got her steak with rice and she said the rice was cold. Yikes. This was the most expensive thing on the small menu. We bought a bottle of vodka which came with a bottle girl and sparklers which was fun for the bday vibes. Also, cranberry, pineapple & lemonade mixers. Friends said they liked the burgers and fries. All in all, it seems like a good place to come if you're into the hookah/club scene. If not, stay very far away. Also, celebrity rapper Ghostface Killah was there With a big entourage. Have no idea if this is normal, but no one ran up to him.

She was celebrating her…read morebirthday and wanted to have dinner with a very close friend, so I looked for a place to get my own supper. Of course Long Island has lots of diners, but they are all unique, and I would say that based on my experience, Imperial is one of the best. I did not want your typical huge diner meal, which is much too much food, so I went with a nice dinner size Mediterranean Salad. The food was excellent - top quality fresh ingredients, put together beautifully and delicious. I was equally impressed by the service. When I travel to New York, I will often run into people who are not particularly friendly or helpful, including many who work at restaurants. This was not the case at all at Imperial. They were kind, and eager to give me a great experience. For a diner, it was not too noisy, and everything was very clean. Prices were very fair too. The only thing lacking .. and I saw this a lot in New York, was non-alcoholic beer. I cannot drink alcohol, and this is something I really enjoy with my meals. Imperial does have a variety of "Mocktails" .. so there are options for folks like me ..but it would be nice to see some beer options for the growing number of people who either cannot drink, or prefer to avoid alcohol. This is definitely a good choice if you are looking for a nice diner. Highly recommended.
