Excellent dishes here! Everything was so flavorful and served piping hot. Wish I took more photos prior to devouring. Place is very colorful and vibrant and the waitstaff very attentive and friendly. Would definitely come back! The chicken and rice was so good as was the steak!

Sabor A Colombia Best Colombian restaurant in the area hands down!! I've been here a few times and they consistent in their quality and quantity of food. I was a huge fan of the fried pork with avocado and fried plantains. As well as the red snapper and country platter was delicious. I wasn't a big fan of the calamari but like I said the food here entrees are amazing. Service is fantastic and they have a live singer in Spanish and English! Beautiful bar and very well made drinks!! Everyone come here if you love Colombian food!!

This is the Ajiaco. This is half the order. So good...

Omg!! So good. If you are looking for an upbeat Latin vibe this is the place. Loved our meal. We started with empanadas. I love Colombian empanadas with the corn outside. We tried one of each. We had red wine, but there were plenty of options to choose from. I had flounder and my husband had a steak on a sizzling pan. Considering the size we still ate most of it and had very little left over because it was so delicious. And the dessert... tres leches was super milky and delicious, I don't even want to tell you because I don't want to share.. lol. The live entertainment was a huge plus. Lots of birthday celebrations which she sang for each person in between songs. Service was great! We will definitely be back!!

I love this place! The ambiance, the music, the crowd, it's a perfect place to experience good food and entertainment! This was not our first time here, but it is my first review. For appetizers we ordered calamari, the chicharron and avocado with tostones, and for the entree we got the Colombian breakfast and the fish...The only thing I would say is that if you want calamari go to an Italian restaurant, cause it wasn't really hitting... Other than that, fish was crispy and seasoned to perfection and I don't know what they put in the white rice but it was too good just to be white rice! The Colombian breakfast, speechless, egg and steak cooked to perfection! The appetizer with the chicharron and the avocado and salsa with the tostones, a meal in itself! Let's not forget about the Colombian soda and the apple soda! I didn't want to share anything, everything was so good! The singer, she added such a beautiful touch to the experience! I was singing in Spanish and English! Our server was perfect, I'm sorry I don't remember her name because she was very pleasant and made the experience even more memorable... 10/10, would definitely recommend!

I haven't visited this place in years and they've really stepped up their aesthetic game, but have kept the delicious authenticity. The ambiance is modern, with homage to Colombia culture such as the Chiba bus. Since we made it in time for happy hour, we had sangrias-both white and red, and also margaritas. To me, the white sangria was the best of the three, it not too sweet perfect blend of alcohol and fruits. We had an array of appetizers, including calamari, Tostirron, shrimp ceviche, and a mixed platter with different appetizers. The best appetizer was the tostirron, which is guacamole topped with fried pork and eaten with tostones. For dinner, I had the fried snapper (Pargo Rojo Frito) and while it was good, I would've liked a little more spice. I had to add a lot of the sauces they provided on the side, to kick it up a notch. In the past, I always ordered the shrimp in garlic sauce. My cousin ordered it and really liked it. The best part of our night was the karaoke. My friends/family and I had a great time getting to unwind and sing a few times. Overall we enjoyed Sabor for their food, drinks, and vibe.

I've passed the restaurant several times, today I decided to try it. There's ample parking in the front/back. We waited a few minutes to be seated, it's a nice size restaurant, bar on the right when you walk in, tables to the rear where you'll find a huge screen TV, DJ booth and stage for performances. There's TV screens throughout the place. My waitress was really sweet, I didn't get her name. I had the breaded chicken with beans and rice, it was seasoned and good, the sauces are really good and spicy. We had the arroz con pollo, it was good, a lil dry but still tasty. I had a sex on the beach, it was weak but tasted like a good fruit juice. I will be returning to try other dishes

Such an energetic and lively restaurant! Came with some friends and we had a great time. It was very busy, so the service was a bit slow. But there was lots of music and a singer which was fun. I got tostones and arepas con queso. Both were so delicious and such a big portion. Perfect place to come for a celebration!

I asked for the onions . They dragged it. Bendaja a Sabor Colombian ? I think was the name

Affordable price for good food. Wine is a good price . Can't wait to go back and attend HH! I sat at the bar. The place is bigger than I expected. It's spacious. It is a little loud. As soon as I sat down, the bartender served me and I didn't wait long for me food

First off Columbians like creamy in almost everything they eat. I had the Carne Asada and Fresa Strawberry drink this evening. The rice was a bit mushy and the beans came in a creamy bean paste with brown beans in a separate bowl. The steak that I thought would be thick and juicy was thin and flat. My meal also came with sweet plantains and pork loins (fried). I cannot say I am used to this way of eating. This is because as an American Columbian myself, my pallet is more geared toward Thai food from my spouse. The strawberry drink I ordered comes with milk in it so specify ahead with the waiter you don't want any milk (no leche) trust me, it will taste better. The layout of this restaurant is as long and roomy as a "tractor trailer truck" spacious. Plenty of seating both at the bar and on the floors. Large screen TVs line the bar. Large stage with a huge screen for Karaoke . Owner this evening was singing over the mic, actually she wasn't bad. I was a little disappointed with my bill, because the waiter botched my charges by adding a Pina colada to my bill instead of a Fesca Strawberry drink. I acknowledge mistakes do happen but not to 2 bills at the same time? So make sure you check over your bill thoroughly. *Men's Bathroom: just one tolid and 2 urinals, you may be waiting a while. *Parking: Parking, plentiful NO METER I think it is fair to expose an online flaw, a few of their website menu pictures show Avocados with spots on them, making them appeared to be spoiled. I hope they rectify. All in all it was a nice place to relax over a hot cooked meal and music. Quite a new experience for me. I might be back. *The Review Guru Long Island NY

This place was jumping on a Saturday night! Came to celebrate on a friends birthdays. This is a restaurant in a shopping strip so grab the first parking spot you see because it was scarce. They don't take reservations so it's first come first serve, so you can imagine arriving after 7 we were in for a bit of a wait. There was live music and lots of energy. There are tv's on the wall And lots of tables trying to maximize the space and get people in there. The music is loud so expect to yell and listen to live music depending the evening. For appetizers we ordered empanadas, Chicken stuffed Arepas, and beef filled tostones. Everything was delicious i honestly could have eaten another round of empanadas. They were crunchy, the inside was piping hot (burned my mouth) (WORTH IT!) and stuffed! I took a bite and wanted to not stop eating despite the temperature. The guacamole with chicharrón was fresh, and the arepas had that sweetness that works so well with savory chicken. I ordered the bandeja Colombiano and ate everything but 1/2 the chicharrón because I ran out of rice and beans. I sat down thinking I would be taking home leftovers but once I cut into the steak it was on. The flavors were on points the white rice was a stand out. Paired perfectly worth the beans, the sausage was well done, and avocado was fresh. The sweet plantain tasted like sugar. It was the kind of meal you are excited to talk about it was so good. I ordered the tres leche it was fine. Not a standout for me felt it was dry so I'd pass on that and go with the flan. All in all this was 5/5 stars.

Based on recommendations, I decided to try out this restaurant. The wait was 45 minutes to an hour of course on a Saturday night. We had a party of 10 so I am sure that contributed to the long wait time. We were seated in less than 40 minutes. There is a live singer performing and she makes her way through the restaurant and serenades the patrons table side, mainly singing happy birthday. If you don't like loud music, this may not be the place for you. The food was delicious and with a group as large as ours we were able to get different menu items to sample. They feature platters that come with a variety of meats so you also satisfy your culinary curiosities. The waiters and waitresses were attentive and patient and kept us hydrated and even served as the tie breaker for some of the menu selections. A definite recommendation.

I ordered one of their signature arepas: The Joint and it was great. It was juicy, packed with a good amount of food and was a nice combination of flavors. As a plantain enthusiast this was the perfect arepa for me. 1 arepa would be filling for the average person. My boyfriend ordered the El Poco Loco for us to split which I wasn't too crazy about - it reminded me of a crispy chicken sandwich and I didn't care for the sauce on this. I didn't bother to eat this after the first bite. Additionally I got to try the tres leches and this was better than I expected. I'm always hesitant to try tres leches because there are so many ways to prepare it. This way was more classic and simple with just the cake and the 3 milks at the bottom. It came served in a square dessert cup. It felt a little small for the price but the taste was worth it. My only constructive feedback for the cake is that the cake would be even better if it was a little less dry as far as texture but that can be hard to balance as you don't want the cake to become too wet over time due to it soaking in the milk. I can't wait to revisit: I'll be getting the tres leches again and would love to try the El Guey.
