Place has a nice atmosphere and the server was extremely polite and helpful. We are new to the area and wanted to give this place a shot. Unfortunately, we were not please with the food. It was me, my wife, and two sons. My sons burger was dry and seemed over cooked, he ate maybe half. My other son ate his food. My wife had the shrimp and didn't care for it or the Mac and cheese as it was cool when it came out. I ordered the Bistro Steak Medium-Rare. Let's just say this was the worst steak I ever had. It was dry, well done, and like leather. My mashed potatoes were cool, not even warm. The high point was the Dijon horseradish. At one point my wife laughed because she said my face looked like a little kid being forced to eat his veggies. I literally asked the server for a Togo box for it so I could take it home to my dog. Rating is 2 stars because are serve was extremely polite and informative. I would have given a 1 for just the food. We will possibly try this place again, not sure my wife will want to. read more

the service was ok but the food was terrible. we ordered a burger with beef bristcut and they brought us a plain burger. we also ordered buffalo wings and they brought us plain wings with no buffalo sauce. when we told them the order was wrong instead of fixing it they brought a side of buffalo sauce to dip the wings in. the waiter acted as if she didn't care nor want to fix the order. the food did not taste good at all! I chose to eat at the bar so I could be seated immediately. Bad mistake. There were 2 bartenders, which wasn't needed at all considering There was only one other person sitting at the bar. The bartender and the patron at the bar were clearly friends, watching a horse race on TV. We chose to play the jukebox and the music was actually Surprisingly louder than the TV because it was obnoxiously loud. This restaurant has good charm to it, the outside is promising and so is the inside. The fish I had here was exceptional, maybe a little heavy on the lemon seasoning, but the quality was great along with the fries, would recommend coming back and a great place for families for a Sunday lunch. read more

I have been here quite a few times n have always enjoyed the food. Usually pork chops grilled medium rare. Excellent juicy n worth buying. However this time I was so totally disappointed. I ordered two meals to be picked up by me. Fish n chips with hush puppies n an order of pork chops grilled medium rare with cheese grits n mushrooms. Firstly I was told 15/20 mins. I arrived at Riley's n sat in car for just over 5 mins then proceeded inside to pay n pickup orders. The place was empty. I counted 10 people. The wait staff were at back of restaurant chatting. When they saw me finally the young man took my card n said he'd get my order. This took nearly 10mins. I took order home 8 mins away. Fish wasn't n chips weren't warm enough so I had to reheat. The pork chops weren't the usual great looking grilled chops. Cool to touch n shriveled looking. No mushrooms. I did get cheese grits that were great as usual. I wasn't pleased at all with this order n intend to tell them in person about how disappointed I was. Now I'm not sure if I'd get dinner here again. Dropped into Rileys yesterday (8-22) for lunch. Have heard mixed reviews about the place but went in hoping for the best. I ordered the chicken sandwich. Turns out it's a chicken finger sandwich. Sadly I couldn't eat it. The bun was burnt and the chicken fingers tasted like they were cooked in burnt grease. The fries were good. I'm only giving two stars because our waitress was AWESOME. My drink glass was never below half full. I was also apprehensive about posting a review on here because I saw where the owners sister likes to take to Facebook and attack those who post about their negative experiences about the place. We frequent here often and as time has gone on, the food and slow service is getting worse. The last 5 times, including tonight, they are out of stuff. They never have baked potatoes, out of mayonnaise, diet coke, Cole slaw, and tomatoes. We ate there tonight and the club sandwich was supposed to be "piled high" with bacon, ham, turkey lettuce and tomato. I received my sandwich it had 1 piece of ham and 1 piece of turkey, no tomato and loaded with cheese. My husband got the shrimp dinner, supposed to come with Cole slaw and hushpuppies, received neither and when asked about it, they were out of slaw and had to wait another 6 minutes for 2 tiny hushpuppies. Also, they are always short staffed, which we can understand, but then why host things if you do not have the staff to cover? There was only 1 waitress this evening and she also had to play the hostess. I try to support small business but if the owner doesn't care about her customers and they don't know how to order properly then, maybe she needs to rethink owning a business. $38.00 for what we got tonight, was ridiculous and I am not sure if we will be returning. read more

We had a great dinner here! I ordered a medium 10 ounce sirloin and wait for it...... it was actually cooked medium. The green beans were fresh and seasoned perfectly. All of the food was fresh and good quality. Our waitress was awesome! I am glad to have this new spot in the area. read more

The service is kind of the best thing there. The staff has always been great and friendly. The food is hit or miss. I have been 3 times and there was nothing outstanding. The meatballs were huge but very dry. The fried foods were swimming in oil. The burger was over cooked and just kinda dry. The bar does make good mixed drinks though. Yelp should let you give 1/2 star's... because I really think this is in between 3 and 4... read more

The food here was great. We had great service and even with two large groups the service was fast. Went after 9pm so they only had the late night menu. Try the Buffalo dip. So good. Wings are good. The blooming onion was amazing. They had karaoke and someone was always singing, but it wasn't over crowded. I'll be back for sure! read more

Wow!!! First time and will not be the last. I got wings for an app that was covered in what they call wing dust. It was great. For my meal I got the surf and turf special. Jumbo shrimp and beef tenderlion. Shrimp was huge and so delicious and the tenderlion was cooked perfect. Service was great. Definitely recommend this for a great meal!! read more

honestly kind of disappointed. as the food was great, the service lacked terribly. i had reserved for a party of 9 for my own birthday dinner before i go out of town, 2 days prior arriving which ended up being a party of 7. no issue there. one server didn't make it to the table with drinks before quitting on us, as the second server approached and as we got drinks and our appetizer, we was still waiting on one more to come (who was not eating.) we ordered and waited over an hour for food, i completely understand the wait of a restaurant and food as i work in the restaurant industry as a server myself. between the approx. 55 minutes of our food coming out, we had not seen a server for refills until a guest of our party had asked the host to grab our server. as the food came out, we got our round of refills. our server was disappeared and was nowhere to be found. had no one ask for refills during our meal or anything, after we got done eating, we waited an additional 25 minutes to ask for a 2 to go boxs, two more drinks and our checks. the drinks and one box was brought and yet again, our server was nowhere to be found. we knew he had other tables so we were trying to be patient. but it was slow and we kept an eye out thinking maybe we could catch him, which did not happen. as we are sitting there talking and an additional 30 minutes or so pass by once again, our server comes out one of the back rooms and walks straight by our table into the kitchen, completely ignored us as we were trying to grab his attention (politely.) at this point i was just aggravated and ready to go home so we grabbed the host (who was very helpful by the way!) to see if maybe she could grab our server. then some very nice lady, whom i think could have been MOD separated our checks and grabbed that extra to go box. then our actual server came back and kind of put the checks stacked on the table with an attitude and says "i don't know who got who" and walked away." i understand people having their bad days and all but please don't bring it to work with you. let alone ignore your table for almost an hour and a half straight. if this was the type of service i would have given at my restaurant, i would be gone that day. read more

We were treated HORRIBLY by the bartenders. They were rude, uninterested in serving us. It was my son's 24 th birthday, and it was totally ruined by how we were treated. We were told it would be a 45 minute wait, which we were fine with. They said they would text us. We NEVER received a text. Horrible! Will never go back. read more
