I went in this Saturday morning July 22nd 2023 with my boyfriend, we have been coming here for year's never had a problem, until today I ordered a bloody Mary we knew they had complimentary breakfast sandwiches so I ordered sausage, egg & cheese on a everything bagel it was very good but the second half of it I couldn't finish it cause, my stomach was upset I ate the one whole half and part of second, when the bartender kat is her name I believe said to me your not finishing that, I had told her my stomach was upset that's why I couldn't finish it, she then said to me that's a waste I made that and that hurts me . I apologized and told her it was good plus my bloody Mary was great, she just walked away and never said a word again to me. How dare she I will never go to that dump again. I hope the owner get's rid of these asshole bartenders at riggers they suck at customer service. BITCHES read more

It has been a dream of "M" to come here since a he was a little boy. I know what your thinking, he dreams big right? Anyway we had the opportunity and man are we happy we took it. A true dive bar, I had the sense I was in a ships hull on the bottom of the ocean drinking with some regulars on their first shore leave in years. You won't see snookie here, no way, this is a locals place. Yes they have ping pong, pool, shuffleboard, and some great drink prices. They pour them heavy here and they only take cash. Come to think of it we saw a lot of Cash only signs up in town this weekend. Anyway, one of the friendly locals told us NOT to park in the lot. "Cops will bust ya right away" awesome tip we took to heart and moved the car to a street spot. We played a few games of ping pong, downed some shots, $10 for a mini shaker, and a few other drinks. I think the bill came to $25 and we gave a pretty solid tip with that. Yes, Riggers is headed to the Dive Bar Hall of Fame. We are headed back. read more

Riggers Bar, 519 Boulevard, Seaside Heights. Riggers Bar failed in the grading and scoring. The liquor was to cheap. Some of the bartenders can be more friendly. The whole place needs a massive overhaul. Restroom area can be more cleaner. read more

Me and my friend were in town for 2 days and we wanted to go for drinks, we were there on the Tuesday night and we had a lovely bartender who was friendly and attentive, we went the next night wow a complete change of staff on the Wednesday, we came in and the day bartender wasn't one bit friendly, an attitude problem, you know there is a nice way to ask for ID without being so rude and aggressive and the night bartender wasn't nice either, I wouldn't trust him with your cash, you have to pay attention with your money here, would I come back here? I would only because of the lovely girl on the Tuesday night I only want her to serve me but I would definitely not come back any other time read more

I would give it more stars but here is the thing: we have been customers for years and on Sunday 9/2 one of the bartenders who is a nasty , miserable woman called the police and had them distribute tickets to cars parked in the lots. I called numerous times and asked for a manager or owner and she hung up on me immediately.. Horrible treatment of customers! Sorry you had a bad day everyday lady.. we all have our problems, but we don't have to be so nasty...PS she works on Friday and Sundays, so hopefully she is nicer to you read more

Since I have been about 17... it's been an option to every weekend's puzzling questions of "What do you wanna do?" A favorite for some of my friends... but there is not much that sets it apart from the traditional and all too common dive bar in Seaside Heights. Their biggest attribute I think is the presentation; appealing to all ages and classes... not exclusively catering to tourists. Located in the heart of the heights... it's dive-bar atmosphere has decent drink prices... $2 drafts and $5.50 Shakers depending on the special of the night and the time of the year. Plenty of entertainment.... air hockey, pool... etc. An awesome poster-child bar for the Jersey Shore!!! Weather your an infrequent shore visitor or native... a visit to Riggers is always an option! read more

Excellent bar. After a half hour of walking the skeevy Boardwalk, we ended up here. Did not disappoint. Not too divey, huge, and outfitted with an awesome assortment of games - darts, shufflebord, ping pong, pool, and jutebox. O man do I miss this place. Dive bar to the T. Small, tavern like/pub. dollar drafts, 5 dollar shot SHAKERS (4 shots in one shaker). Recently I believe they raised the bud light and budweiser drafts from 1 dollar to 2 dollars, inflation, blame it on what you will, still an impeccable value! This is THE place to come with your drinking buddies to just DRINK and drink. They have pool tables, air hockey, darts, and SHUFFLEBOARD. the shuffleboard table is a classic and I have seen some good times here with friends. The place is hilarious b/c it is mostly seaside heights locals, quite an interesting breed. We would pre-game here to save money then head over to the bamboo, xs, tempts, etc. You gotta check it out, but def not a place to pick up girls or a date, (although there was one lucky, memorable memorial day weekend i will always remember!) Absolute terrible irresponsible rude bartenders. (Sunday nights) Serving patrons who are clearly intoxicated. Asked to kindly cease serving, but 4hrs late still serving despite several requests to stop. To the point of serving until closing. Person left OVERLY intoxicated to walk home. Said person could not remember walking several blocks (30 min) and stated lucky not to have gotten hit by car. Doesn't know how he made it home. This could have ended a lot worse and with a lawsuit. But to these bartenders it was just a funny game at the request to stop serving. Very rude and irresponsible. POOR establishment to not have bartenders who abide by law and cease to serve those who are intoxicated or abiding the request to stop from another. read more
