First off if I could give more than 5 stars I would.... This little place is fantastic and the gal that opened up for my engine crew mate and I was super friendly and a real pleasure to meet. We were in Merlin assigned to the the Rum Creek Fire...and I really wish I had seen this place earlier...we were demobed and leaving the fire for a reassignment when we drove by and decided to stop and we couldn't have been happier the food was great ! (I highly recommend the Zane Grey omelet ) it was sooooooo flipping good !!! the atmosphere is Hawaiian eclectic with tons of things to see , and they're dog friendly not to mention totally inclusive which is also a real breath of fresh air. When we were finished with our breakfast we sat patiently waiting for our check..when we were informed that our breakfast was covered... I was honestly humbled and shocked...it was something that I never expected...and we were informed that they had been taking a collection to cover meals for firefighters..I was left speechless and so very thankful...there aren't enough stars to leave for that kind of support...I'm truly humbled and would highly recommend this great place to everyone!!! Thank you again so very much for your kindness and support !!!

Delicious food with BIG portions. The staff was friendly and worked hard. We sat outside and it was a little warm. Maybe some misters for those hot hot days but other than that! 10/10 would recommend. I'm visiting from Virginia and if i lived here this would be my local spot.

Thank you Riffle Cafe for a great breakfast, Eggs Benedict, aloha style; sour dough pancakes and your tropical mimosa's. Aloha

Hidden gem! I had the Hellsgate scramble, so FLAVORFUL! The country gravy that's on it is probably the best I've had in a long time. My friend got the very tasty Corned beef hash that's homemade with long chunks of beef (not the canned stuff). Our waitress Jen was so welcoming & amazing. I will definitely come back next time I'm in town!!

    Fun decor ...

Hello all, and for many of you rafters on the river don't by pass the best breakfast and lunch in Merlin. I come from Medford to get my Riffle fix. Food is fresh and homemade, I especially go nuts for all the different burgers. Today, I had the Ortega chili burger with grilled onions. And popped out of this world. The patio is very welcoming and the gecko and tropical decor will transplant you for awhile to the tropics. Don't pass up this gem that is close to the 5 interstate. Cool man! Cowabunga dudes!

I ordered a breakfast sandwich on a pesto bagel as a compromise because they were all out of the everything bagel - BEST DECISION I EVER MADE!!! ;-) BTW - I always go through the drive up window, but you can call an order ahead, even while you're waiting in line at the drive-up window. AND... You can order any kind and any amount of muffins the day before you want to pick them up- the next day. (I hope that made sense) Look- just go there and try something- you won't be disappointed. And hopefully you won't become a muffin addict like me- WARNING: The sandwiches come in a variety of sizes- the largest ones are HUGE!!! They even have explanations and tips on the menu board as you drive up to the drive-thru and inside at the front counter. Take them to heart! Last word- they run out of muffins daily- TIP- You can call ahead (early) and ask if they have something you like (like a type of muffin) they will check and let you know if they do, ask them to set it aside for you in a bag with your name on it- THEY WILL! Just don't forget to pick it up PLEASE. Okay- that's it! ENJOY!

We tried the Salted Maple Latte and the Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew -- both were so yummy and felt like a warm hug on a chilly day. Wheelhouse Coffee, located in Grants Pass,…read moreOregon, is a gem of a coffee truck that's become my beloved local spot, and it's easy to understand why. Nestled at Weekend Beer Company, this mobile café, run by a passionate husband-and-wife team and excellent staff, combines specialty coffee with a unique automotive vibe, creating a hip and welcoming atmosphere that draws a loyal crowd every morning. The picnic benches outside are always buzzing with various groups of people enjoying their drinks, chatting, and soaking in the community feel--proof of its status as a local hotspot. In my opinion, the espresso here is nothing short of excellent. Wheelhouse proudly serves Onyx Coffee Lab beans, delivering a rich, expertly pulled shot that's perfect for coffee purists as myself. The owners' favorite drink this time, the Salted Vanilla Latte, is a standout--smooth, perfectly balanced, and elevated by a touch of salt that enhances the flavors. I took it up a notch with a quad shot and a little extra salt, and it was an absolute game-changer, bursting with bold espresso and just the right savory-sweet kick. What sets Wheelhouse apart is the staff's genuine warmth and engagement. They're not just friendly; they take a real interest in your stories, making every visit feel personal and memorable. Whether you're sharing a quick anecdote or chatting about your day, they listen with enthusiasm, adding to the cozy, community-driven vibe. It is so "Right-On"! Dog owners, rejoice--Wheelhouse is dog-friendly! You can bring your furry friend to hang out at the outdoor tables, making it a perfect spot to relax with your pup. The location is also a breeze to access, with plenty of parking and proximity to the 5 freeway, making it ideal for both locals and road-trippers. It is worth the exit from the highway you will be glad you did! The service is top-notch, with baristas who are knowledgeable, attentive, and quick to whip up your order with a smile. Pair that with their seasonal offerings, like the rosemary brown sugar latte or iced vanilla rose matcha, and you've got a coffee experience that's both creative and consistently delicious. In short, Wheelhouse Coffee is a must-visit in Grants Pass. It is my top spot for coffee in Grants Pass. With excellent espresso, a dog-friendly setup, a hip morning scene at the picnic benches, and a staff that genuinely cares, it's no wonder this place has a loyal following. Don't skip the Salted Vanilla Latte with a quad shot and extra salt--it's a bold, flavorful treat that'll keep you coming back. Easy parking and a prime location only seal the deal. This is why I give this coffee shop five stars with complete confidence that they will continue to live out their culture of excellence for years to come.

During a recent West Coast visit my family introduced us to this magic. The Grants Pass location is drive-up/walk-up, however there are standalone restrooms and picnic tables for lingering and savoring. I tried the Rio (base: acai, bananas, mangos, pineapple; toppings: bananas, strawberries, blueberries, granola, and coconut). I subbed peaches for kiwi because allergic, and left off the honey and it was glorious. Other items tried by our group included the Autumn Leaves special (base: acerola, pineapple juice, coconut milk, pineapple, peaches; toppings: granola, bananas, kiwi, raspberries, coconut) and the Yumberry Refresher drink.
