That being said they fixed it immediately to my satisfaction and like every meal I've had so far thoroughly enjoyed my experience. Foot quality is top notch especially for an area that struggles with a meat and potato crowd. I've had half the menu by now and have found a dish I don't like but not because it was bad, I'm just not into it... and that's ok. Weird to focus on the bun but they absolutely chose the perfect buns; gotta give credit where credit is due! Fruit cup was nice and fresh as well. Things went a little less successful with the French dip because the meat was seasoned and already had adequate salt and then the dip for the French dip was a mega salt bomb; way too much salt but we did mention it as the proprietor came by and asked how things were so perhaps they are going to take a look at that. If they used a Lipton French soup mix for the au jus then that would explain the salt. That didn't work. They genuinely wanted customers to be satisfied and that is appreciated. If I were running a small place, I would want honest feedback so that is what I give. Those cinnamon buns behind the glass have my name on them and I am going to swing back and get one of those babies soon. We will be back to try the breakfast offerings as well. Once you get off the boat it is a short walk up a hill to get to the restaurant. They also have transportation for those who need it. It is all outside seating with beautiful views. I loved the look of the restaurant with all the wood and open air. You wait in a short line to be seated at your reserved table. The tables seat 12 people. We were a party of 14 so were split up but they did put us close together. They have high chairs for the little ones if you need. There were drinks (ice tea and lemonade) already on the table which was great because we were thirsty from the boat ride. The servers quickly brought out biscuits, corn bread and salad. The salad was very good with their homemade honey mustard dressing. Shortly after that came bbq chicken and potato salad followed by berry cobbler that was more like a crisp. The food was ok. Nothing special. It is all you can eat so if you need more just ask. Be sure to use the restroom before the long ride back up the Rogue. We had time to put our feet in the river for a few before it was time to board the boat for the trip back.
