I needed both tires replaced on my Triumph. I called my service department in Belton and they quoted 1,000 dollars. I was a little shocked. I called RideNow -Georgetown, knowing they are not a Triumph dealership, and gave them the make/model of the same 2 tires I wanted. They quoted me half of what the other dealership asked for. I mentioned that and was told, if you buy tires from them they don't hit you with the labor costs! It pays to shop around! On a side note, walking around inside while the bike was being serviced, I meant Jonathon and a few more of their staff. Very friendly. They also had good deals on Shoei Neotec 3 helmets,. I almost pulled the trigger on a new one but the ones on sale were not my size. read more

My 2018 Polaris Ranger XP 1000 caught on fire while turned off. I had just driven it 100 yards to my house. Polaris HQ asked me to have it towed to this location to be inspected by a corporate dolt to determine cause of fire. After months of either getting the run around or complete silence they simply said something like, "We don't know how the fire started. Our official cause is listed as Act of God. Get lost now." Robert in the service dept. was informative and cool about the whole thing. He's the only bright spot I found at this location. A few weeks later I arrived to look at new UTVs. I looked at a basic 4 seater, Can Am Defender MAX that had a sticker of 15k and then the exact same one with a windshield and roof that was listed as 17,3k. It was more because of the roof and windshield per the salesperson. One of the young kids who makes up their sales team started the paper work on the 17k Can Am and then handed it off to one of the senior members of the team. He finally brings out the paper work and the price is now 25k. There is an entire row of hidden fees including a $2500 addition for the windshield and roof. So I ask why I'm being charged for the roof and windsheild again. The guy says he will take it off. I can see they are being dishonest from the get go. This is called "drip pricing" and is a deceptive sales tactic where a company advertises an artificially low "headline" price and incrementally reveals mandatory fees or surcharges later during the checkout process. It is illegal in many states, but not in TX. Not yet. RideNow Georgetown practices this sort of "bait & switch" sales process and feels shady and deceptive in every regard. Stay away from this place. They had a motorcycle I wanted and I called ahead to let them know I'd be paying cash and to make sure the bike was in stock and ready to go. All I wanted to know was the out the door price so I could bring a check. After arriving it turns out the bike wasn't ready to go at all and still needed to go through an hour long inspection process before they could sell it. I asked for the numbers and was told to wait for a manager. Waited awhile and poked around and finally got tired of waiting and left. As we were driving off the sales guy came out and said they had the numbers ready. I explained I needed to get going but asked them to give me a call and let me know the total price so I could come back. Never received a call so I reached back out and they still wouldn't tell me the out the door price? And just wanted to argue and tell me I needed to come back. Doing some research online I found the same bike listed for $1000 less and already have the total out the door price quote without ever having to go there. Kinda ridiculous experience honestly. This place strikes me as a bunch of young people that have no idea what they're doing with instructions to nickel and dime folks out of every penny they can. read more

WARNING STAY AWAY FROM THIS SERVICE DEPARTMENT If you own a Motorcycle with a Motor Trike kit STAY AWAY from the service department at RideNow Georgetown! Took my 2005 GL 1800 with a Motor Trike Adventure kit in for service. Had the coolant flushed, clutch fluid changed a new front tire and they supposedly did a recall on the brake cylinder. When I got the trike back, $950 later, molding on the bike was broken, antifreeze was spilled on the trike (I know the difference between antifreeze and brake fluid) and for some reason the air shocks would not release air. I contacted Motor Trike and they tried to assist me with troubleshooting. I finally took my trike to Mitchell's in Gatesville and in just a few minutes they found that the air dump valve had been plugged with silicone and a star bolt! UNREAL! This would have eventually lead to the shocks failing. According to RideNow Georgetown, the compressor would not stop running and so they plugged the release valve. That is some kinda of stupid you don't find everyday. Thankfully it did not do any damage. They have offered to replace the broken molding but insist that plugging the dump valve was the right thing to do! DO NOT LET THESE PEOPLE NEAR YOUR BIKE OR TRIKE!!!!! read more

They said the appraisal would take two hours, which is way longer than anywhere else I've been. I asked if they could at least give me a ballpark figure before I waited, and the sales guy said he'd check with his manager and assured me it wouldn't be a problem getting my asking price as long as my bike was in good shape (which it was). After over THREE HOURS of waiting, they finally came back with a super low offer and some crazy fees for the new bike I wanted. I can handle a low offer and high fees--I get that businesses need to make money and I can easily just say no--but what really annoyed me was being left hanging for so long with hardly any updates after they said they'd have something close. Went to do the paperwork, and they had added $900.00 plus for "Destination Charges", $400.00+ for Pre-delivery. another charge for Document fees, another charge for the "Tire Protection Plan", and "Battery Protection plan". when I protested these charges, I was basically told take it or leave it. I cannot recommend this place less. Customer service is not friendly or helpful. The battery in the pictures is 9 months old and that's how it looked after I cleaned it up. It corroded the terminals on my Harley and I got stuck in the hill country. I have had batteries in all types of vehicles and have never had an issue getting either a replacement or refund. They would not even do store credit although I do not plan on shopping there. Unfortunately I should have talked to my other biker friends first who actually have had similar issues and ended up buying from other Austin area shops. 2020 Spyder F3 with semi auto transmission. last year it 2022 had problems as it would not manually down shift and would not go into reverse, they claimed they could not duplicate it so in their eyes there was NO problem. Let me start by saying our purchase made 2 years ago was great with no issues. They tried to sell us on a service package to winterize our watercraft that we declined. I'm very thankful we decided that. I will never use their service department. I had a recall that we wanted fixed. Went in the figure out their process. They said they needed to order the parts and would get in touch with us once they came in. We got a phone call a week or so later and the appointment wasn't for 1.5-2 months later to bring it in. At drop off they asked for a cover. When asked why, they said the craft was going to sit for 10 days until they could get to it and it would be stored outside (our watercraft hasn't been stored outside-ever). They said that in the past they have had feral cats chew up the seats. Why with an appointment is it not getting touched for 10 days? My service advisor was out, so we assumed it was a misunderstanding. When I called after the weekend to get the full story they complained about not having enough space to store items and they worked with the service manager to pull my unit up to the front of the line because they knew I wanted it back- well it is the middle of summer and you have no space, but you want to store it for 10 days before you even start a job with an appointment! I then hear nothing for 2 weeks. I finally call and am told they thought I got it back, but tracked down that the recall part was broken and they had to order a new one and the part had just showed up. They would finish it the next day before lunch. At 5:00pm the next day I showed up and they claimed they were in the middle of working on it. I drove back home and 20 minutes later they said it was done. It was honestly probably an hour job total. I waited 14 days for a 1 hour service, I have a sun bleached watercraft cover and then found screw driver pry marks where they popped plastic to do the warranty job instead of appropriate tools. Bottom line- go anywhere else for service. It might work correctly, but the process to get there won't be worth it. read more

Went in to the Georgetown Ride Now to buy an ATV with my wife. The price online was $5500., which is about $500 over retail. I ask if the price was negotiable. Next thing we know, Colin the Floor Manager came over and gave us paperwork that increased the price $2000. The breakdown was: Market Value Selling price $5591., Prep Fee $571.5, Total 6162.5. Then tax, though we are ag exempt status, Non tax fees $227.86, Net Price 6898.77. But there's more a "battery for Life charge of $599. Total is 7497.77. My brother-in-law said these were not customary charges. I would ask that the dealership sales manager let me know why there are all these fees. We would not want a "battery for life' at $599. Plus the fact that we do not live by the dealership so coming to bring the battery in is an 80 mile round trip! I would not recommend this Ride Now based on our experience today. Seems to me like they saw 2 woman coming... Update 3/3/2023: The General Manager, Anna, reached out to me and offered an explanation of the charges. It really made sense and so I would like to amend this review to reflect the misunderstanding. And also to say that she worked with me to get a very good deal and it erased the experience from yesterday entirely!! read more

I bought a brand new Segway Fugelman UT10 X. Ride Now Georgetown installed a windshield, which has had problems from the beginning and the machine went right back into the shop for heat problems. Service and sales manager said they have no idea when they will get to it. Phone calls are not being returned Brand new machine and can't even use it. They are all attentive at time of purchase but as soon as it leaves the lot you become a nuisance if there are problems. Worst experience we have had in dealing with motor sports. It all started off fine, I was greeted when I entered the store and then I spoke with the sales manager about the bike I wanted to get and some paperwork was looked over and signed and the usual bs, well I had asked to see the motorcycle before I purchased it and they told me that the tech was still working on it and had to do a test ride, we'll I had listened to videos of the motorcycle with a similar exhaust and it was loud and I mean loud, so I heard the tech take off and come back and when he came back I saw him hand the keys up front and then I asked again if I could see the bike, they said oh let me see if he's back and I said yes he is cause I heard the bike and watched him ride up to the front, then they finally let me see the bike, they let me start it and everything, they knew nothing about this motorcycle, I knew more about it than the dealership, isn't that sad! So I go back in and everything is moving along I do the rest of the paperwork go see the financing office and then on top of it all there was a code that they couldn't clear and didn't bother waiting To sell it or take it to Austin to get it cleared before it was sold, it was just a service light no big deal, I got it fixed later at their expense, where I started to have real issues is when the deal was done and I had the paperwork the sales manager that helped me to begin with wasn't even excited to sell me the bike she didn't congratulate me or anything it was more of a thanks for your business have a good day. never have I had a dealership treat me so poorly after purchasing a bike from them it was really pathetic, so I take the bike and go, well about 2 weeks later when I was able to go to Austin ride now I had been hearing a noise so I mentioned it to the service advisor and he said the previous owner mentioned it as well and of course they blame the loud exhaust but in reality it is the cam chain tensioner, BMW says it's to be replaced at 12k miles but he didn't want to admit that and just tell me it was the exhaust so I went with it, now the noise has become even worse, I am losing power and it hates 4K RPM now and that was my favorite cause you can get the rich deep tone out of the bike at that range, currently I am unable to get it fixed due to financial burdens but I plan to do it myself and save a few hundred dollars that I know they would charge me to get it fixed. so I'm on month 3 of owning the bike and it has not started for me about 5 times, so I took my battery in to get replaced with the unlimited battery plan they offer well news to me it isn't active till 6 months after you purchase the bike so don't waste the $400 on that bullshit cause they'll sell you a bike with a bad battery just so you have to buy and new one and they can make more money(Georgetown ridenow) this is so sad that this company is doing shady deals and ripping people off. Also the battery they claimed was good is 6 years old and when it was tested today it said it had 12.8V which is a fully charged battery but their machine printed the ticket ame said REPLACE BATTERY right off the bat, I'm so disappointed with this company this is my second time buying from them in 2 different states and it's the same in both! Buyer beware!!! I bought a brand new 2006 Yamaha Vmax from this shop in 2006. I'm the first and only owner. When not being ridden I keep the bike in a climate controlled shop. Due to circumstances beyond my control it's been a couple years since I've had the chance to crank it up and ride. However, the bike only has 600 original miles on it. Yes, that's not a typo 600 miles. Yesterday, 20-Aug-22, I took my bike into the RideNow shop in Georgetown. As I mentioned, this is where I bought it originally. When I arrived I told one of the several people hovering around the front desk what kind of bike I had and that I needed to drop it off for service. With no other information requested or exchanged, he directed me to the shop entrance around back. So I pulled my trailered bike around to the service entrance. We waited for a good 7-10 minutes for someone to come out to start the paperwork and help us get the bike off the trailer. After getting tired of waiting, my son and I got the non-running bike off the trailer and pushed it around all the other bikes in front of the service garage door. Then we went inside to do the paperwork. Side note: Anyone who knows what a Vmax is will know these bikes are extremely heavy, super-bikes; not easily handled when not running. Once in the shop office I was asked for brand/model/year of my bike. Only after this exchange did the service manager tell me that they have a corporate policy that states they can (will) not work on any bikes older than 10 years. I told both the service manager and the store manager that I bought this bike brand new, from them, and it only has 600 miles on it. They refused to service my bike and sent me on my way. Let that sink in. Additionally, they didn't even bother to help us get the bike back on the trailer...I would be surprised if anyone at this shop could even spell 'JP Powers Award'. I'm guessing this is the kind of shoddy service that a business has to run away from and probably has something to do with the reasons they've had to change company names more than once over the past few years. Choosing a corporate 'bottom-line' policy strategy over good customer service will not end well for the RideNow crew and Karma will win in the end. For all you potential new buyers, do yourself a favor and avoid the pain that comes from very poor customer service, find somewhere else to pick up your quads, dirt or street bikes, or to get service. These corporate-first companies who are are more interested in the bottom line than you, the customer, don't deserve your business and certainly won't work for it. RideNow has lost my business forever. Ironically I was in the market to pick up a couple side-by-sides for our hunting ranch the same day as the service fiasco. I will drive to another city/state to buy before I give RideNow another penny of my money. Oh well, live and learn. Apparently customer service is dead as this episode with RideNow shows. After waiting all that time and getting prequalified for financing the dealership contacted me a few days before I thought I was going to pick it up saying that that unit was no longer there. They said that they would make it good since I had waited so long. There "making it good" was attempting to sell me one for over $4,000 more. Avoid this RideNow location, take the extra time to head to the Austin location. This location may have more inventory, but their customer service is horrible, and their attitude is worse. We went there looking for information on ATVs and UTVs, met with a very rude introduction, even ruder financing information, and hardly any information about the products they sell. You will wait a long time while they 'figure out' what is going on with financing options, and unless you know exactly what you're looking for, they seemingly don't have any information to share about the vehicles they have for sale. As other individuals have included in their reviews, it seems like this behavior is pretty normal. I've never walked into a dealership before ready to spend thousands of dollars, and been treated like I was bothering the staff! The folks at the RideNow Austin location are far-and-away a better choice, and will actually provide you with some customer service. do not waist your time! I drove a long way, cash in hand and ready to make a purchase. They added $1200-1300 in fees to the price once I got there. funny, they called me 10 times to get me in the store and twice since I left. No one tried selling me while I was there nor did the discus why I left. so the guys that call now can't help me with added fees, they can't problem solve so you tell them why you are not interested and they say good bye. Not sure why they call if they aren't looking for a resolution or a sell. Great thing is I found same bike, more accessories, no fees, and out the door savings. So thank you ride now read more

I purchased a boat from this dealership. They charged me 9K over sticker price, stating these were all fees that could not be removed. (like battery for life which should have been optional but they put it in without asking then said it was mandatory). I made the purchase alone and in cash. I told them I knew nothing about buying or owning a boat and to please help me with the process. instead, they showed me nothing a took advantage of me. ZERO sales assistance. They knew NOTHING about the product they were selling me and didn't care or even try to learn. fees: dealer freight for boat, $2497 dealer freight for trailer, $500 assembly for boat, $1897 assembly for trailer, $372 lifetime battery, $499 labor, $617 document processing boat, $125 document processing trailer, $125 I can keep going with these ridiculous fees! I get other's have had a good experience buying here but I certainly will not go back. Here's why so you can make your own decision: 1) They are advertising on their website that they have three new Yamaha XT250's in stock. They are not new - they have been loaned out for a motocross race, and should be listed as demo's since they have not been titled by anyone. Had I known they were 'broken in' at a race, I would not have wasted sitting in 3 hours of Austin traffic to drive there and back. 2) You can forget what the manufacturer says the price is. The $5,200 bike I was interested in was quoted at $7,552 out the door. You get a trickle charger ($399 + tax) with that, a $488.50 'setup fee' for a bike that was already loaned out for use, and approximately double the freight charge Yamaha quotes to this area - $798. It doesn't take much research to see how padded these numbers are. 3)This is more of a nit, but my sales rep knew I was coming, and said he would pull the bike off the floor to start getting it ready. When I got there, he was out to lunch and the bike was still on the floor. As it turned out, that was when I could see that it was used and had 188 miles on it. The found a closer for me to meet with, but I just walked out instead since I will not do business with an outfit like this. The good news is that this complete waste of time did keep me looking. I was able to buy the exact same bike (except actually new, with 1 mile on the odometer) at Woods Cycle Country for $6,535 out the door. Over $1,000 saved, and no BS games. read more

My 23 year old son Bought a 2020 570 Polaris Sportsman ... 2 months ago and just took it in and they wanted*** $400!!! For an oil change!!! .. says it takes 2 hours omg !!!! Weren't so friendly as when he bought it .. This place used to be so friendly And helpful. How is it $400??? Glad my son didn't pay that!
