I'd like to start by saying I try to give all small business owners the benefit of the doubt when…read morethere are issues with services I pay for, as my wife and I have a small business. However, using Accurid for a roof rodent issue in my bayside rental property's attic around May has been one of the most frustrating, unprofessional experiences I've had in my many years of being a landlord. While Dennis has been professional in tone and demeanor during phone conversations, his team only came to my property one time to complete a rodent service and never came back for any of the 4-5 scheduled (then rescheduled) follow-up inspections to complete/resolve the rodent issue. Over several weeks they consistently no-showed appoints and I'd have to call after the fact to reschedule. At first I was at least getting a reason of a tech being sick or them being short staff, but eventually I just stopped calling because they'd no-showed so many times. I left it alone and assumed they missed the mark and it was what was --as this sometimes happens with smaller and/or less professional service companies. For some reason about 3 weeks ago I started getting phone calls from his scheduling employee for my "quarterly service", which I NEVER signed up for. In the 2 times I spoke with her I explained that they never finished the rodent service I paid for and I would like a phone call back to get that figured out before agreeing to any type of ongoing service. Since it had been a few months since the no-shows, I wasn't likely to sign up for a quarterly service, but I thought it was a reasonable request to receive some type of call and explanation as to how/why I was missed so many times AND a plan to resolve the fact that I had paid for a service that was never completed...especially since they were calling to schedule a quarterly service. Fast forward to today, September 1st...I don't have any voicemails or missed calls from Accurid for a follow up regarding my request for call back from Dennis on the incomplete service, but I check my business email and I received a $105.00 charge from Accurid for pest services. I immediatley called their phone number and Dennis answered. He looked up my property address and asked if I signed up for a quarterly service. I explained the backstory and how they never finished the rodent service. My primary issues leading to this review: 1) Dennis didn't apologize, ask about what he could do, or even make a veiled attempt at trying to get something done asap to rectify the original rodent service that was never fully completed 2) Dennis didn't know for sure whether I had signed up for a quarterly service, yet still kept my credit card payment information from the incomplete rodent service AND, even worse, charged me for a "quarterly" service 3) Dennis informed me I'll get an email today (I have very little confidence that email will come btw and will be submitting a fraud dispute with my credit card company) with the payment refund, and it would take about 10 days for a refund 4) I NEVER agreed to a quarterly service, was overly understanding on the multiple reschedules/no-shows, and even gave them the benefit of the doubt on them just missing their mark on the rodent issue...yet the money they absolutely improperly charged me today will not come back to me for over a week and a half. How is it not a priority to resolve this ASAP, even if it means cutting a check, cash app, whatever? :| As a business owner with some level of integrity I would at least think an apology and quick refund of a fee for non-rendered, non-agreed to services would be a top priority. Based on their other reviews I assume everyone doesn't get this level of terrible service, but at this point I also would not be surprised one bit if there are many other customers with experiences just as bad as this...which some of the Yelp reviews show. I should have checked Yelp!

So I found Accurid on Yelp's and the company has great reviews so I contacted them. The company had excellent communication and years of expertise. He explained everything that he was doing. I am incredibly delighted with the result. I don't have enough to say how happy I am now. I highly recommended Accurid to my friends and family.

There were 2 rooms which he was not able to reach the baseboards so I was understandable towards that, the rest of the house had open availability for baseboards spraying. The technician walked into the house for about 5 to 10 minutes and walked into each room and sprayed a little bit in the center of the room. I had moved furniture to the center of each room so that he could spray the baseboards, when I asked him if he needed me to move anything so he could reach the baseboards he said no and sprayed each room in the center. I then reached out to the company to ask if this was normal which they said no and they would talk to the technician. They then came back after putting me on hold, and said he said my house was a mess and it was impossible to spray which is not true. So now we have to walk-through a house where the center of each floor has bug spray on it. If he wasn't going to do the job right he should not have done it at all. I will be seeking a new pest company in the future.

NEWS FLASH: Yelling and screaming at your (former) customer is NEVER OK!!…read more We hired Global Green to spray our home against ants, silverfish and centipedes. Every time Karieem was in our home, he was the very model of courtesy and professionalism. We were told that the product was safe to pets and animals, and there was a three-month guarantee against re-infestation. A week or so later, we noticed that the bugs were still in our home. My wife called back to let him know. He came and sprayed again. A few weeks later, same problem - ants and silverfish. He came and sprayed yet again, telling us that our problem was due to pet food being present in the kitchen. Yesterday, we found our bathroom infested with ants. So . . . we called yet again. At first Karieem was very cordial and seemingly sympathetic, as we had known him to be thus far. He even offered a full refund (we did not ask for a refund! We just wanted the bugs gone!). In the next sentence, he said we would be getting only a half-price refund, since he had "bent the rules and came out several times". After a pause, his whole demeanor changed he yelled, "You know what? You're not getting a refund, and I can't believe you asked me!" He then went on a 15 minute rambling, screaming fit, accusing us of trying to take advantage him, and calling us "classless", "pitiful" (I have a digital recording of the last three minutes of the "conversation" to verify this.) Whatever product was used for insect control; at our house did not work for 3 weeks, let alone 3 months, and Mr. Koon was vehemently opposed to hearing about its poor quality. Guarantee be damned! If a product doesn't work, it doesn't work. It shouldn't be a personal matter, as he made it to be. When a business owner decides not to issue a refund to a customer, or decides to not continue doing business with a particular customer for whatever reason, there are more professional ways to go about severing a business relationship than screaming, ranting, and insulting. The incongruent and aggressive actions of Karieem, to me, indicate that he is a potential danger to his customers.

Miss Sandy the CEO called and apologized to me for the unsatisfactory workmanship of the two men that was sent to my home to replace the fallen insulation and or missing sections of our crawl space. I thanked her for taking time out of her busy schedule to respond. She appeared very concerned the job was not done right the first time. and vowed to make amends. She sent the two men's Supervisor Mr. Keenan out to perform a quality check of the work that had been sent to do. When he exited the crawl space,we sat to discus what he observed. He explained the condition the condition it was left it in, and it highly upset him, for they had not done the job satisfactory and he qualified that was not a not a representation of her business practice. She takes pride in her company and likes to have satisfied customers. Mr. Keenan took pictures to show Miss Sandy and guaranteed he would make it right to my satisfaction. We had paid a nice price for a nice job which fell short in every way. Today September 6, two men, Jasen and Alex showed up on time between 8::00 and 9:00 as scheduled, with the proper materials to complete what should have been done by the previous men. He rang my doorbell and introduced himself and stated they were here to restore what was necessary to keep our home cool in the Summer and warm in the Winter and without further a-due went right to work. Now I we are late Senior Citizens, so I could not join them two see what they did, so Jasen provided me with before and after pictures to show a nice view as well as explained what he and his counter partner had done. From those photos, it appeared they had met my satisfaction for a job well done. Before Jasen and Alex left, they cleaned up the area and carried away all the old sagging and deteriorated insulation. In addition Mr. Keene had returned a check Miss Sandy gave him to reimbursed me for the HVAC service done. I had to pay to call a service man to service my AC unit, which he found in excellent working order. I did not expect this, but that showed me she took pride in her company and wanted to make amends. You can read the condition the other two men left the crawl space in in my previous review. I take back my previous unsatisfactory rating of this company and wish to change the overall to five stars. Miss Sandy was very polite with me and it shows she take pride in her company , by the action she took. I also have this company doing my pest control. I also stated the you lady had put poison control boxes in with my food storage cabinets. Miss Sandy explains they were not poison, but contained a sticky substance to capture the insects for coming out again and will be change out quarterly and spray.ed This put my Wife and me at ease. I will be renewing my Pest Control Contract with this company at years end. Therefore, I now recommend this company to all. If you happen to be unsatisfied with calling them, rest assured the owner, Miss Sandy will make it right when brought to her attention. If you need pest control, call Pest Out. This company, will treat you right. Tell them Joe sent you.
