The pizza is very good for this local joint. It's near my work so it's super accessible off of Niagara Street. Parking is on the street so just be careful. Service was pretty quick. **Absolutely the Worst Experience Ever** I had high hopes for this place based on a recommendation, but it turned out to be a disaster from start to finish. First, our scheduled delivery was delayed by an entire hour, completely ruining our event. When we called to check on the order, the employee we spoke with had an unhelpful attitude, basically saying, "We're sorry, but get over it." We then spoke with someone claiming to be the owner or co-owner, but unfortunately, their attitude wasn't any better. We weren't even asking for a refund--just a reasonable explanation and better customer service. Instead, they falsely claimed the employee responsible had been fired, which came across as both unprofessional and disingenuous. As for the food, it was just as disappointing. When it finally arrived, the delivery driver was just as indifferent, despite the fact that we had prepaid a $7 tip. The pizza itself was a mess--burnt on the bottom, poorly assembled, and clearly rushed. Several guests at our event commented on how bad it looked and tasted. It was bland and didn't come close to the quality of the great pizza we're used to here in Buffalo. Because I am fair, something this place isn't accustomed to or practice, the wings were really good and made the way I asked. However, the bad experience overshadowed how good they wings were. The subs are worthy and if you say you want your sub dry so you can use your own mayonnaise you will get a passionate lecture about the great mayonnaise they use in their subs. And it's true, the mayonnaise they use is thick and delicious - get the subs with mayonnaise. And take their advice on anything they offer. I seriously trust their decisions on all things pizzaria. Have had both the pizza and salads here. Both are excellent. Pizza is exactly what you would expect from a buffalo pizza shop. Pizza was excellent! Sauce flavor was great, pepperoni was thick cut and lots of it, the bread was perfectly fluffy and most of all I loved the pizza to crust ratio. I always forget about this place despite being a few blocks away. I had a rotten day and wanted some pizza. I was looking at the usual downtown suspects and gave up because it's SO expensive. Then I remembered Ricotta's. You can't beat their prices!!! I think delivery was $3 and the lady who delivered it was very nice. I got the loaded pizza which is ANY 6 toppings for $17!! Veggie pizza is my fav so I loaded it up. So many toppings it's heavy and so delicious. The sauce is the perfect amount of sweet and herbs. I also got a single order of wings which they will do in 2 different sauce. Which is AWESOME in my book. Got mango habanero and teriyaki. They were the size of a pterodactyl wing! New Jersey pizza, New York pizza, Chicago pizza (via UNO's), the Papa John's chain, it goes on and on in big cities and small towns. On a recent visit to Bflo we Airbnb'ed near Ricotta's, and ordered one with fresh tomatoes, peppers, and mushrooms. It was a revelation, unique to Bflo, unlike any other style of pizza and perfect in it's composition. The crust of a Ricotta's Bflo pizza is not as thin as a NY pizza, but it is just right on its own terms. The sauce, the cheese, the doneness of the crust, we've been talking about it to everyone. Bflo is not just about wings! We ordered two more during our stay, and froze one to take with us on the next leg of our journey. It's worth a trip over to Niagara St. for a Ricotta's pizza. So I was navigating Dave Portnoy of Barstool "One Bite" app which is an app cultivated around finding the best pizza around you and this place had an 8.7 in regards to their pizza. If you're familiar with Dave's pizza reviews, his typically land in the mid-to-high 7's so whoever reviewed the pizza at Ricotta's would receive a "rookie score" as David politely puts it. But I was enticed either way now. The place isn't much inside but it's a great place to grab a slice and go about your day. So I ordered two pep and cheese slices and they were fresh. They even had 5 wings which didn't look quite fresh but if you're feeling extra hungry, it's a pretty sweet deal. So I got my pizza, "one bite, everyone knows the rules," and wow, this is great pizza. The sauce was tangy and sweet and their was very little flop to it. The ingredients were superior to local pizza places in the area and now that I know its not too far from my apartment, I'll be back for more. read more

I discovered Ricotta's through a friend of mine. It is the go-to place for her when ordering a pizza, so on a cold winter night I decided to ditch my normal pizza joint and try Ricotta's. So glad I did! The pizza was delicious and at a great price too! I've orderd from them a few times now, always a pizza with veggie toppings, so I cannot comment on anything meat related, but everytime I have ordered, the pizza is made exactly to order and arrives within the time frame specified at the order. The pizza crust itself has a sweet note to it which really pairs well with the sauce and toppings. It is crispy on the bottom yet fluffy and chewy on the inside. The perfect balance of crunch and chew in my opinion. The sauce is mild but tasty. I usually order mine "well done, " so the outside crust gets nice and toasted. They do offer some speciality pizzas, subs, wings etc, and from looking at the menu online, their prices beat everyone in the area. I will definitely be ordering from them again and again. read more

Let me start off by saying Buffalo style pizza isn't my favorite. Personally, I prefer a less greasy, thinner crust pizza. With that being said, Ricotta's has to be my favorite "Buffalo style" pizza. The crust is comparable in thickness to Mister Pizza but more crisp on the bottom. There was definitely less grease than La Nova. A few slices were lacking cheese, similar to the cheese found at Just Pizza. Not the sweetest sauce in buffalo, which is a good thing. The prices were cheaper than all three of those competitors too. I contemplated giving 5 stars for a long tine. But I just haven't experienced enough pizza in Buffalo to say that it is the BEST pizza. Once I try a few more spots on my list I'll come back for comparison. read more
