We were seated immediately and waited on quick. I wanted some clarity with the wing heat. Some places hot is mild or hot is burn your face off. She clarified the medium hot is hot so that's what I decided on for an order of 6. My sister isn't so much of a wing person so she decided on a grilled cheese. The waitress was pleasant and answered all the questions we had. The restaurant itself isn't too big but can seat a lot of people. Total wing vibe. Lots of different flavors and quantities went by...everything looked tasty and fresh. They had Yuengling on tap so that's what I ordered. She had a pepsi. Food arrived fast. The aroma was to die for (ok it burns the eyes a little...). Came with celery and blue cheese. The wings were amazing, some of the best I have ever eaten. Crunchy celery and cool dipping sauce. Bigger than most that I have ordered and very freshly prepared. After 6 I was filled up...but I ordered another brew just to wash it all down. I ordered the small cheese pizza with sweet sauce, 10 wings medium, and funnel fries. Everything was delicious and filling! I'll start with my favorite: the funnel fries! Outside of a carnival-like settings, it's hard to find a good funnel cake. I often find them to bread like and chewy. These here at pizza works were the best I've had outside of the usual settings. For comparison... when I order sweet sauce ... I expect something like papas pizza oven, marks pizza, or pizza oven in Lockport. This place is nowhere near that level of sweetness. I actually went back in to confirm it was sweet sauce and the gentleman confirmed it was and explained the difference between their regular sauce and their sweet sauce. I was bummed it wasn't what I was craving - HOWEVER, the sauce was EXCELLENT! I would be glad to eat their pizza again any-day - I just wouldn't order it when I am craving the sweet sauce I am accustomed to. There is plenty of seating here and a big TV. It was nice and clean and I found the customer service to be great and friendly, even when I came back in to confirm the pizza had the sweet sauce. The menu is large. There are daily specials.
