This place is good but they always run out of corn. The chicken is made fresh and is tender with a great taste. The rice and beans are good also especially the rice. The rice has an amazing taste and is soft and fluffy. Service is always great, and it's cool inside.,

I tried Rico's Pollos Puebla at the Taste of Arcadia a few months ago, and I had to make sure I went to the restaurant after the chicken was so delicious and juicy. Today I ordered the half chicken, without any tortillas or any sides because I just wanted the protein, but I was very satisfied with my order. They let me get half spicy and regular which I am happy because I was able to try both, and it was absolutely very good and flavorful. The service was pretty fast. It was not a lot of people inside when I came in, but they greeted me once I came in and they helped me out. It was a bummer that they was out of corn on the cob, which seems like it is very popular so they run out at times. I really wanted to try it with my chicken, but it's OK maybe next time. It is also very clean inside! The place is pretty quaint and Clean inside, and it has one table where you can sit. It's more so a spot to order and take home to eat. Overall, I did love the chicken and when I come back next time, hopefully they will have the corn on the cob. It's located in a little shopping center, but there is parking and it is easy to find. I am happy that Arcadia has a very good chicken spot to go to. -Marshay D.

Ordered delivery through DoorDash. Surprised that they packed food with a used Walmart bag ..... how much does a plastic bag cost ? It was so unprofessional they used a dirty bag !!!

Oooooohhhhhh heck yes! Been waiting for this to open!! Less than five minutes drive from my house! Corner of first ave and foothill in Arcadia. Grand opening special... 2pc spicy or regular, (either leg n thigh or breast n wing), 2 sides (rice, beans, Mac salad, coleslaw, potato salad or corn on the cob) corn or tortillas, and two mild or hot salsa!! Chicken is yummy! Love the Mac salad and potato salad the best! Rice and coleslaw not pictured as they ran out of rice and they forgot my coleslaw, but I'll be back! Friendly people, great service! #foodadventureswithxiaomei

I wanted to call ahead my order but didn't see a phone number on Yelp so here ya go...

A new chicken spot opened up! Thry are setup for takeout due to COVID but the place is fairly small so likely more of a takeout spot anyway. We got the 4 piece chicken with 3 sides. For the chicken you get to choose between spicy or regular OR BOTH! For someone who likes to try different foods and flavors this was a plus for me! So of course got both flavors. The packaging was awesome. They separated the chicken so that the spicy and regular don't mis and you can tell which is which. Talk about service. The spicy was a tad spicy but also had a good flavor so I'm torn between the two haha. For the sides I chose rice, coleslaw and corn on the cob. They let you choose between regular and spicy salsa. I got regular. And for tortillas you can choose flour or corn. As for the taste I have to say the chicken was a tad dry. It's kinda like El Pollo Loco but I feel this place cooked the chicken a bit dry. Maybe I went in with too high expectations...or maybe just a bad day. They were really busy. Maybe I give them a 2nd try. For now I say it's OK.

From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming. We did run into a minor snag--the kitchen printer actually ran out of paper right as our order went through, which led to a bit of a delay. However, this is where the service truly shined. Rather than leaving us wondering, the staff was incredibly transparent and apologetic. They went above and beyond to make it right, surprising us with a round of drinks and a big bowl of fresh guacamole on the house while we waited. It's rare to find a place that handles a mistake with such grace and generosity. The tacos themselves were high-quality, flavorful, and very reasonably priced. It feels great to support a small business that clearly values its customers. If you're looking for great food and a team that genuinely cares about your experience, look no further!

They are open till 11:30 PM, and they had a line of connoisseurs at 10 PM. I can see why! Their tacos are served hot and made on the spot. Their Asada Tacos with red sauce is great; they give it a great char and their salsa roja is savory and smoky. I especially love their Al Pastor Tacos: spicy, tender pork, with the sweetness of fresh pineapple to give that extra brightness and acidity. By far one of the best Al Pastor tacos I have had in a while, and they get extra bonus points for topping theirs with pineapple as some tacos trucks in LA don't do that all the time. Just thinking about it and typing this makes me want to head there but I will just have to wait till next time. Pro tip - the sprinklers go off on Santa Anita Ave around 10:30 PM, and my friends and I got sprayed so be careful not to stand on the grass during that time.

One time I ordered 4 tacos, 1 burrito, a drink and churros and it took them longer than 25 minutes to be ready. The people who dined in that were behind me in line were served first. This defeats the purpose of takeout... also they burnt the heck out of my churros and still have them to me like that. Their employees are rude especially the girl with the fake red hair. She' s vulgar talking to coworkers instead of customers and a rude attitude. She was rude with an attitude when asked her about drink prices (not on the menu) and a question about the salsa bar . She made me feel like I was a bothering her after spending over $50 in their establishment. The way she behaves makes you think she owns the business. Another thing is that they don't listen or pay attention to your order. Both in person and for delivery they end up messing up your order. It was simple no onions on 3 tacos and they always mess up my son's food. Now I have an angry and hungry little kid on top of the experience. I keep going back because their food is good and kind of hope to have a better experience. I don't I'll go back, it's a shame but it's not worth it anymore.
