Oh? And that $40 estimate? Well, that was simply a logical assumption that would explain why a brand new $400 battery wasn't working. In the morning a Mercedes Benz mechanic simply pulled the battery right out from the one wire it was hanging from and was surprised the car hadn't caught on fire. AAA sold me the wrong sized battery... and then didn't actually install it to the car (a V8 4x4 SUV) which caused over $2000 in damages. read more

Rick was very quick, and a real problem solver! He inspected everything and found i had a faulty fuse where most said it was a starter issue. He knows A LOT about cars! Thanks for saving me a lot of money Rick! KL read more

Rick was such a wonderful resource when our battery gave out during a deep cold spell. He arrived faster than promised, with several different types of starters for a job that turned out to be trickier than expected. Once our engine was running again, he let us know that the coolant was dangerously low and needed to be addressed ASAP. Hope never to need his help again, but really glad to know that he and his company are around just in case! read more

My car wouldn't start in a parking lot on a Sunday & I assume it needed to be towed. Called Rick & he showed up within 30 minutes, jump started my car & had me on my way! read more

Fast, courteous, and affordable. Yesterday, I was out to vote and locked my keys in my car. One phone call and they were on their way. Literally ten minutes later, Sergio was there. He was fast and friendly. I called several places and their price was the best by far! I am so grateful for the courteous and professional care Sergio took to help me out on this cold day. You won't find a nicer guy (or better price). read more

They kept on giving unrealistic estimates of when they would be there. They ended up not showing up. I needed to get my battery connected and car started. Overall a waste of time. read more

I hired another company to come and help me jump my car (or tow it if needed) and they completely ghosted me. I called Rick and he showed up in less than an hour, jumped my car so it wouldn't need a tow, and charged a completely reasonable amount. The entire experience was great and now I've got Rick on speed dial. read more

Rick was absolute amazing. I highly recommend him for any roadside assistance. He's assisted me on two separate occasions, and both times he arrived in a matter of minutes. Rick's rates are very reasonable. Thank you again for your assistance. read more

My cousin hit a pot hole and cracked his axel on his way to my home on a Saturday morning. After calling a few places with no response, we finally found someone who was available and only 10 minutes away!!! Highly recommend, they knew how to move the van without creating more damage and delivered it safely read more

Rick was the best. I had a few lug nuts that wouldn't come off of a tire I was trying to change. I called and he was here in less than 10 minutes. I explained the situation, he assessed and we decided to fill the tire with air and I could get to a tire shop. No need to pull off the tire. But I learned more about why I couldn't remove the lug nuts. Turns out Chicago weather causes these specific types to swell over time and my standard tire iron wasn't fitting over them properly. Good to know, time for new lug nuts. He was super helpful and informative. I am definitely keeping his service on my favorites for whenever I need it. Thanks so much for your help. read more

We called Rick's this evening because we needed to move our car to make way for building renovations tomorrow but needed our new battery installed first. SO GLAD I called Rick's. We got help right away and for a price so reasonable, I paid more than they charged me...it was worth the extra to me to get this done. Don't hesitate to call Rick's next time you need help with a car problem! read more

My husband and I were shocked to find our car was totally dead on a Sunday afternoon! Our neighborhood mechanic was closed and even if they were open, we'd need a tow just to replace a dead battery. After a few unanswered phone calls to other emergency repair places, we found Rick. He was extremely helpful and was at our garage with a new battery in a few hours! His price was very reasonable, especially considering it was Sunday. Rick even topped up our tires with air. I'm so happy to have found Rick and have saved his number in my phone in case we ever need a tow or get locked out of our car in the future! read more

Sergio was helpful, quick, easy to contact, friendly, and his help was reasonably priced. What more can you ask for?

Wow! I was so frustrated with AAA after waiting 7 hours for service for a dead car that was locked out. I texted Rick's through Google and got a response in 3 minutes! Sergio told me he would get to me in 20 minutes at 11:30pm. He was there in 15. After helping me with the lockout he even let me try my own jump before using his in case it could save me money. Amazing service, has all the tools, and came quickly. Don't waste your time with the big guys, get the help you need from a Rogers Park local. read more

SAVED THE DAY. A super stressful morning took a turn when I went out to my car and the battery was dead. I called to get a jump and they were at my car in LESS THAN 10 MINUTES! I was blown away, and then they started my car within seconds! Sergio was incredibly kind, quick, and super informed on my battery and gave me suggestions if I have future issues. You obviously hope that you don't have to need emergency roadside assistance, but if I do in the future I know who to go to! read more

Extremely impressed with the excellent service provided. Saved me a huge headache at a reasonable price. read more

My car was frozen into a puddle and I have no family in Chicago to come help me. I was truly stuck in there with no way of getting out. I called Ricks emergency roadside insurance because of its 5star review. Sergio/Rick came and helped me within 20 min and had my car unstuck in under 30 min! He was so kind and helpful!
