They handled it with grace, and a few small hiccups were completely understandable given the circumstances. The one real issue was management. Whoever was running the floor that night seemed far more stressed than anyone else on staff -- tense, unapproachable, and noticeably short with the servers, even though they were working hard and doing nothing wrong. It genuinely affected the mood on the floor. I'd encourage the owner to look into additional training for whoever is in that role, or consider whether they're the right fit for managing front-of-house during busy nights -- because the rest of the staff clearly deserves better support than that. She was friendly, attentive without being overbearing, and there when needed. The main disappointment came at the end. When our meals were served, the server actually offered sauces at the table (ketchup, mayo, ranch, etc.), and specifically suggested items like the baja sauce for the eggs and ranch to us. Because of that, we were surprised to see several charges for the sauces on the bill, especially since they were offered and recommended at the table with no mention of any additional cost. We were also charged a credit card fee, with no signage anywhere (entrance, hostess stand, or menu) indicating that paying with a card would include an extra charge.
