Ed and Ron were patient with me as I attempted to explain the mysterious noise coming from the rear of my car. I arrived, we went for a quick diagnostic ride, and in one minute they knew what was wrong. I paid an incredibly fair amount for parts and labor. I called A to Z transmission and spoke with Tony. He actually took the time to see if it could be machined, rather than replaced.... which thankfully, it could! They repaired blown head gasket and a lot of other work my truck needed, still waay under the price to replace with a used engine. In a pinch I think this place would be great for small jobs like oil changes, inspections or…read morewipers. I was appreciative to get in on short notice for an inspection as they are first come first serve and I called on a holiday afternoon for an inspection. While I was not in long, I did have to ask several times for a quote to correct the issue needed to pass inspection. I initially was told I would be given a quote at cash out and that did not happen. I called back after leaving and was told I'd hear back as the dealership might be closed. I called dealerships myself with no issues being able to order parts even on the holiday. When I called the next day, willing to arrive within 15 minutes once they provided a quote, I was told they'd call the dealership and get back to me. I still days later have no quote and went to another garage that was able to handle the job for $400 less and complete the inspection.
