These guys were recommended to me, and I had an equally positive experience with them. My initial appointment ended up being diagnosing the already suspected wheel bearing, but they also found and noted some other areas that needed addressing. Ray let me know what they had found, and his recommendations with a quote. I took my car in the following week and they took care of everything. Today was my first time using this establishment and it was a great experience all around! I called yesterday due to my breaks squeaking and they were able to get my car in today and it was done by the late afternoon. The price was very reasonable and the work was top notch. Supeeeerrrrr over priced ! I would stay away unless this is your absolute last option. Dropped our car off to see what was wrong and instead of calling and notifying what the price would be, they just fixed it and we had to pay their outrageous price. EDIT: Apparently they did not like my honest opinion of their business. So now they are trying to deny me the trailer I rented LOL these people are a RIP OFF and SUPER UNPROFESSIONAL!! What a great crew at Blackstone Auto! They could not be more down to earth and personable if they tried so dealing with them is always a pleasure. They have a knowledgable staff with the experience to diagnose problems and give you the comfort and sense that you are in good hands. Our recent endeavor with BA was to have our 2015 Expedition gone through because we were experiencing sporadic problems with our transmission. While we feared the worst, anticipating the need for a replacement transmission, Ray and his guys looked over the truck and found a simple tranny flush and clean would fix the problem. And it did! Another shop could have taken advantage of the situation and told us we would have to replace the transmission to fix the problem. This is just one of many great experiences we have had here. They are a family run business and it shows in the excellent care they have provided me for years. Whenever I have needed anything with my car they accommodate my schedule, even if that means taking a quick look to make sure it's safe for my family until I can rearrange my schedule. The repairs are done in a very timely manner and they always call to update me and call before any repairs are done so I have any idea of the price. No surprises. I didn't even mention the astronomical estimate you gave my on the exhaust that only needed a piece of coupler pipe. I also fixed that myself and it lasted 2 more year. Stay away. Owner inflates parts prices by about 400 %, tries to sell parts and services not needed . Got estimate to get exhaust fixed....over $1200 for the converter pipe and intermediate pipe which were not even needed. Another shop would have welded it for $100 but once i saw what it needed, i bought a piece of coupler pipe and two clamps and did it myself for less than $11.00 in parts. Both pipes were fine and have lots of life left. This place tried to screw me, and I will never go back after that. read more

DISHONEST & Rude Mechanic! Stay Away!!! They broke a plastic trim panel on my car when working on a part near it, and tried to hide it from me, then very rudely told me that they refuse to fix it when I asked them about it. No offer to replace the part they broke, Not even an apology, just rudely said "ya, that's broken now, deal with it" then walked away. HORRIBLE SERVICE! read more
