    I have to give a huge shout-out to Rich's Yamaha in Lockport. Yamaha MT-10s are in demand with a short supply. When my daughter Gina couldn't get one in Georgia where she lives, I went to Rich's to check with them. Misty was great! She placed my name on one of the two they were allocated and couldn't have been more honest and accommodating with me. She said that while Yamaha shows delivery in May, don't count on it. She kept me up to date and Thursday, June 23, 2022, called me to say it would be in Friday, June 24th. Gina booked a flight and today (Saturday the 25th) took delivery of the first 2022 MT-10 to be sold. Misty was unbelievable. She never asked for a deposit, never over-promised, kept her word, and made the entire transaction pleasurable. An old school "we shook hands on the deal" person. Then, John the service manager spent a lot of time going over every detail of the bike with Gina. The delivery experience was phenomenal. During a time when price gouging seems to be the norm, and customer service is a thing of the past, I can't tell you how refreshing it is to see a dealer that puts the customer first, is honest and delivers on their word. Gina was told by a couple of dealers "we can't tell you the price until we measure demand" and other BS stories. Rich's delivered at a great price and couldn't have been more professional. Conclusion? There's a reason Rich's Yamaha Cycle is in the top 25 of all Yamaha dealers in the nation. Misty, John, and the entire team there could give lessons to a lot of businesses. We're lucky to have them here, in our own backyard.

    Short notice on a very busy day yet John took the time to test ride my motorcycle because I thought I heard a noise. No charge and a great smile. Love these folks!! It's no wonder every time I've been there someone is buying a new bike. I will never shop elsewhere and make damn sure my friends go there too. If your trying to decide what you want and where to get it consider the aftercare. That's what counts the most.

    I previously left a high review as a client who not only purchased a motorcycle from them, but used…read morethem for service. After my last experience with them, I will never bring my motorcycles back to them for any type of service. As a repeat client, it shouldn't be that hard to set up appointments, but their communication is horrible. It literally took me three weeks to get back to me. It is next to impossible to actually reach someone direct. You are always told they're on the phone or meeting with someone and then it could be a day or three days before someone get back to you. The only person who was responsive in of both in my previous experiences recently was Jordan. For this recent experience, I was adding crash bars to my motorcycle a newly acquired Triumph, resolve a service light, handle three nationwide recalls, and get an oil change. To their credit they did a nice job on equipment install. One recall with for replacing the back tire and the other recall with bleeding the clutch for a known issue. They got back to me that Triumph could not get me a replacement tire timely but would cover the cost of a new tire which they provided. They did put on a new tire with a 2024 date stamp. I was contacted about getting service and they recommended changing clutch fluid even though the bleeding the clutch was one of the covered recalls. It was at that point I said deliver my bike without adding anything else. I have other mechanics that can do oil changes. The kicker is that after they return my bike and as I was putting it in my garage I noticed that scratched one of my black side aluminum side panniers. I immediately sent before and after photos indicating the fresh scratch (with black marker that someone tried to conceal) It's 3" long and quite visible. It's not with replacing but just bothersome. Jordan was very responsive and got back to me that they didn't know where that could've happened. Noah, who picked up and dropped off the motorcycle took video recordings both times and I asked them to review. I've yet to hear back from them. It has been exhausting dealing with them. If you're looking to purchase a motorcycle, I would give sales department high rating, but avoid their department for your sanity.
