There were different people working the desk, and not the two I am most familiar with (The guy that looks like "Wolverine," and the nice woman). Not sure if they moved on or not, but I liked them. I recently brought my truck in for an inspection, and I needed some work done to get it passed. It took a few days to get everything fixed. Thankfully they gave me a loaner car, which really helped. After passing inspection, I noticed a few days later when it started to rain, that my windshield wiper blade was torn. It was in good working order prior to entering the shop. Usually I receive a text after a service asking me if things were to my satisfaction, and I was going to tell them about my wiper blade then, but no text ever came. More than likely, I will still come here for tires/alignment/etc., but not sure if I wanna come back for inspection/service. P.S. In my original review, I mentioned Campiti's Pizza was within walking distance, and sadly, they have gone out of business. There is a Mexican Restaurant nearby that you can walk to, and a Sheetz for something to eat/do while waiting for your vehicle to be serviced. Half a Cheer!!!

About a year ago, I took my car to this Monro on a whim, since I needed some fast work done. I was blown away by the service and decided to come back the next time I needed work done. Each experience here has been great. The folks who work here are capable and talented. And, most importantly, honest and clear. I never feel like I'm being pressured into work that doesn't need to be done, and John (the manager) is always up-front about costs and time (Malik, the assistant manager, is also a joy to deal with). I don't *like* having work done on my car, but entropy happens and cars age and need work. With this in mind, I'm still happy to visit this Monro when I need to have work done--it's also a good experience.

While not the typical place I go to, I had used this shop a few years prior to get new tires put on. I called ahead that my car was being towed to the shop and would like a diagnostics check. They replaced my battery to be able to do the diagnostics, which I approved. Once the diagnostics came back, it confirmed the bad alternator, and a few other things. I declined any further work on the vehicle and had it towed by my Dad out of the shop on 5/23 until I decided what work I wanted done on it. I was out of town for work but was able to inspect my car on 5/25 w hen I returned. Upon looking at my car, I noticed that my battery cover was missing but the new battery, put in by the shop, was there. I called the shop and got through to speaking to someone on 5/27 to ask about my battery cover being missing. They let me know they would go check for it and call me back in a few minutes. They never called back so I called the next day on 5/28. The customer service agent told me they were busy with another customer and that someone would call me back within the hour. It's now 5/29 and no one has called me back and it's looking like they lost and/or choosing to not rectify their mistake. I didn't expect them to reinstall the cover, even though it was their mistake. I just wanted it back and would install it myself. I would avoid going here simply for the fact that them choosing to not return calls or even be honest about the situation (Ex. "We lost your battery cover" or "We forgot to reinstall your battery cover").

While I was already disappointed in this unexpected cost doubling, the icing on the cake was that I wasn't asked if I wanted to proceed with the repair. I was just informed that the cost had jumped, that the repair was complete, and that I now needed to pay up. This suggested to me that the original assessment of the damage had not been as thorough as it could have been. While a quote is an estimate, not a certainty, it's not good practice for businesses that run on quotes to let customers pay twice what they were originally expecting. In this situation, for instance, I would have appreciated a discount on the unexpected new part. That might have eaten into their profit margin, but it would have guaranteed that I would become a return customer, whereas now, I am not so sure.

Without appointment, he asked one of his guys to drive my minivan with me sitting next to him. He didn't hear much noise after driving for 5-10 minutes.
