However since their staff is busy doing what they do best - making drugs, they don't really provide all of the other bells and whistles of customer service that you find with the big corporate pharmacies like Walgreens or CVS. My doctor directed me to have my prescription filled here. She didn't send it in electronically, but instead wrote the ingredients on a prescription paper. She suggested I call them first to make sure they had the ingredients before going. I did, but there was some confusion on whether they had the ingredients because of the way I was pronouncing the ingredients and/or my phone was cutting out. Thankfully they had an email address, so I sent them a picture and they replied right away that they could make the medication immediately. I drove to the facility. The woman at the front seemed to be working multiple tasks and wasn't privy to the conversation I had previously on the phone, so we had to go through everything again. Once everything checked out, I had a small wait in the lobby before they came out with a paper white bag with my medicine inside. There were no instructions or "scare sheets" included, so I just had to go by what my doctor discussed in my appointment. In the end, I got a 60 day supply for $150 which seemed quite expensive. I took one, and an hour later, I was so sick. My blood pressure skyrocketed and I ended up with one of the worst headaches I had ever had. I thought I was going to have to go to the ER, but I managed to wait it out. By the next morning, my blood pressure had dropped to a normal range and the excruciating pain in my head subsided. I had an unfortunate experience here and with this overly potent medication. Had I used one of the corporate pharmacies, I would have had a consult with a pharmacist, had a detailed sheet explaining the medication and expected side effects as well as best practices for taking it. In the future, I will ask for this to ensure a layer of protection.

Shortly after shutting off his van, a voice from the speaker said, "Sir, move your van." It caught him off-guard, and he responded with, "Excuse me?" He received a the same command again, but in an uglier tone. (Speaker only, as the metallic screen remained down the whole time.) When he said he just wanted to be first in line when they re-opened, the response was, "Sir, if you don't move your car we will call the police." When he asked if they were serious,, the response was, "Yes, we will call the police." My FIL then restarted his van in disbelief pulled into a parking spot. He then watched as not long after, two cars entered the line, one at the window, Yet those two vehicles apparently weren't threatened with police action. My FIL eventually joined the line after it had reopened. My FIL normally wears his Air Force veteran cap, so the only conclusions I can draw are that this Walgreens either (1) hates senior citizen veterans, or (2) is staffed by complete idiots, which certainly would be on-brand for Walgreens. Whatever the reason, If you are a veteran, a senior citizen, or a decent human being, I strongly recommend giving no business to this clown car pharmacy. ** Note to Management: Don't bother posting an "We're so sorry and don't understand what happened" reply. This compounded medication is specifically formulated for the management of Meniere's Disease. It has helped her so much. After a full year of intermittent and unpredictable attacks of full-blown tinnitus, nausea, vomiting, visual disturbances, recurrent bouts of balance/coordination, and a thyroid goiter removal surgery on August 7th, 2025, she is doing well. The ability to ship to your home address is convenient. I am particularly impressed by my most recent telephone call and experience with Melanie. Mom and I are going to be traveling out of the country and she will run out of Betahistidine in Mid-July, so I wanted to make sure she had enough medication until we return home. My first experience solidified my plan to never go to CVS or another pharmacy again. We were in and out in under 5 minutes--it's like hitting a small lottery when you have a sick toddler in tow, and I love it even more that he's located directly across from our pediatrician's office within the same building (we go to Richardson Pediatrics). I haven't seen a sign for it from the outside, so it's not obvious from the street. It's located inside a one story brown building on the northeast corner of Arapaho and Floyd, along with a lot of pediatrician offices. Once you step foot inside, you'll see clear "pharmacy" signs. You can tell he's working hard to build his business and to make it succeed by offering services like free delivery within a 3 mile range. He also mentioned if I were in a real emergency and needed to get something filled, I can try calling him, too--something you won't get with the larger pharmacies. On the phone, they tried to convince me that since they do not get any money from the state or insurance for the program I am on that the Pharmacy Itself charges as $5 FEE and then IN return gives it to charities. So the $5 is NOT A COPAY because it is Not being requested by any insurance company or the state program that I am on. The $5 is Solely being requested by Broadway Pharmacy itself and no other entity. SO QUITE LYING to your customers trying to call it a copay of any sort. This again just shows how pathetic you are and trying to lie to cover your backside. $5 may not seem like a lot to most everyone but to me it is. I do not have a job due to my health. Live with a mom who is on social security/limited funds etc and we have to watch Every penny we spend. So being charged $5 and being told (after verifying with the state and my local case worker that my plan Has Zero CoPays At All) is Infuriating. And IF you charge a Fee that is not being charged by the insurance or covering program it it also against the the law. The BIGGEST ISSUE is that they charged me twice for my medicine when I knew they shouldn't be I literally HAD to have it. After contacting my case worker, it was verified that the pharmacy was Not supposed to be charging me. The 3rd time I went in they tried charging me again, I advised them of what my caseworker said and that if they had a question to either call him or the state program to verify it. The cashier tried getting a hold of the pharmacist and was unable to so therefore gave me my meds for free as they should have to begin with. At that point I called my caseworker once again and advise that I just wanted a new pharmacy as these people seem to be very shady. I would absolutely not recommend going to this place and if you do I would make sure if you're on any type of assisted program that they are not even charging you $5 because depending on the program they may be charging you money and basically stealing it from you if you're not supposed to be paying at all.
