This pharmacy has the rudest pharmacists I have ever encountered. I took my 85 (on a walker) year old friend to get a Covid booster. We tried to make an appointment online but system was down. Sign at pharmacy clearly states "Walkins Welcome!". There was not one other customer there. There were 3 pharmacists there. They would not give her the booster because they had 'limited supply'. Very rude dismissive and disrespectful attitudes. They gave me a 1-800 number to call to make an appointment in the future. Keep in mind, not one other customer was there. We then went to Tom Thumb and though they had a line, they were super friendly and accommodating. Will never return to that CVS for any reason. read more

Worst ever pharmacy. Do not waste your time. They have made EVERY step of my wife's gestational diabetes miserable. They do not understand how to read as they have forgotten how to bill insurance and gave my wife insulin with no needles/syringes. We didn't find out btw until they were closed even though the paper from her doctor says do not forget needles/syringes. CVS is basically a small version of Walmart, with everyday low LOW prices but without the exasperating hunt for a parking space. CVS sells only the things you need. No clothes here. No washing machines. But check off batteries, wine/beer and a vast plethora of personal care items and just enough kitchen and bath cleaning items to get what you need at a fair or bargain price. What I really love is the service at this store and the staff at the pharmacy and "front store", calling me by name and always greeting me with a smile. Adding to the stars is the sheer convenience of being able to always pull up less that forty feet from the 24/7 doors and get in and get out. This store is always meticulously maintained and stocked. And the location exactly between the tony Canyon Creek neighborhood and the prestigious and culturally elite University Of Texas is convenient to everyone. Finally - the online pharmacy tools are the bomb. Automatic refills, email reminders, and text alerts mean no waiting and always staying a step ahead of your medications. They also accept every major insurance company and will resolve any issue between what your doctor wants you to take versus the less expensive prehistoric drugs the insurance companies "think" may work. They resolved these pesky issues "behind the scenes" so you just pick up what your doctor ordered. Now if they could just bring back the soda fountain/diners of yesteryear it would complete. (Just kidding) Close to both CiCi's Gourmet Pizza and The Chocolate Swan too! I highly recommend the CVS at Nantucket and Campbell to everyone. She was so rude and shooed me away without answering any of my questions. Wonder why she did that? This pharmacy is AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL. I wish I could give them less than one star. The people that work there are completely and totally incompetent. And to be clear, this is not based off one visit, but multiple experiences. Let me be specific when I say incompetent. They are unknowledgeable-- as in, don't know what I mean when I say I need the Nyquil with a decongestant they keep behind the counter. They are unbelievably slow-- I filled a prescription there and went to pick it up 2 hours after they told me it would be ready and it still wasn't filled. And lastly, they have no idea what customer service is. When there are 5 people behind the counter, only 2 of which appear to actually be doing something, while the other 3 are standing around, doing nothing and looking ANYWHERE but at the customers who are standing in line, it's a bit aggravating. Why it took me so many bad experiences to learn I'd rather drive 10 minutes out of my way than deal with them, I don't know. But I guess better late than never. read more

Ran in for a pumice stone and the price wasn't listed on/near case so, I asked the cashier for the price. Instead of simply scanning the item, Belencia told me to walk and find the "scanner/item look up" box located towards the back of the store. The CVS on Campbell and Nantucket in Richardson, TX is without a doubt the worst CVS I've ever been to, consistently. If you have the unpleasant luck of going when a bratty black girl named Taylor is working, you should consider going somewhere else. In general, these people we've encountered here are rude and don't care about customers. If you have a complaint, they take it personal and Taylor became a real b word, very unprofessional and immature toward us. I almost laughed at the childish attitude. The Manager, Makala, is a little more mature and understanding, but she has the same issue of taking store and register complaints personal and the level of help you receive is diminished because of this. They both talk over you and don't listen, then tell you to stop talking and listen to them so they can repeat the same nonsense that triggered your complaint to begin with. My mother and I had been going here for years, but we agreed that we've made our last purchase from ANY CVS. Good riddance! Ahmad, one of the technicians at this pharmacy, goes above and beyond to take care of the customers. His customer service skills are exellent. He followed up with me on a few challenges I had with getting medication. He knows the computer system very well. I often see him training the other employees. He definitely thinks out the box and is the go to guy for thise that work with him. He has a exellent memory and multi tasks. I was so upset early in the year I yelled at the staff and the manager, called and emailed the corporate office.Things turned around (not over night) But they did improve. Never have I been so humiliated!!! On the night of our wedding anniversary we stopped in to grab a few items before heading out. I had 2 items at checkout that I wanted rang up separately and was told VERY LOUDLY and DEMANDING that after the first transaction, I would have to go to the back of the line to cash out my ONE ITEM!!! I said why, I'm already here? The cashier, (short, light complexion andwearing a hijab) then goes on about how she has customers that are waiting in line to checkout, like I wasn't one of those customers then said she'd have to ask the manager if she could ring me up meanwhile yes, folks are still in line waiting on her. I said we could've been in our car already had you cashed me out!! A customer in line then yells out " ring her up, she's right there!". The manager, a short black man with a thick accent comes and says that's our policy but I'll let her cash you out this time, I was dumbstruck. This is the worst pharmacy I've ever experienced. They will lose prescriptions and your order will never be ready on time. Avoid at all cost. The Target at Coit and Campbell is a much better option. They recently have had computer troubles that backed orders up for three days. Tonight they physically lost our prescription for our 6 year old who has poison ivy. Physically lost it. Well since it seems no one else have a positive experience, I guess I will share mine. I've been going to this CVS PHARMACY for the past 4 years. My son suffers from a rare brain disease (1st in the U.S.) so imagine the tons of medications he's on. I don't have ANY problems with this pharmacy-my experience! They've always been super nice to us, courteous, smile & jokes around, even know us by name & greet us upon arrival. I've seen many of the staff come & go throughout the years (must explain the short staff) but his prescriptions are always ready on time. There have been times where the location didn't carry a particular type of drug at all b/c of what it was but they would order it for me & contact me once it arrived at their store, that was ONCE in 4 yrs. The other drug had to be made at a specialty pharmacy, it was out of their control. My son's doctors have always sent his prescriptions electronically & by the time we make back to this side of town from Childrens-DALLAS, they have ALWAYS been ready. If I ever see a long line, I just simply leave & come back at a more convenient time. I love the fact they have the new text msg feature so I don't have to call & reorder each med for a refill. Imagine how time consuming that is with all of his meds so CVS now text me when it's time to reorder, I respond with YES, then they text me back when it's ready & I go get it. Simple as that. Same when it's out of refills, they text me to let me know they will contact the doctor for more refills & same process. So idk why everyone else is having such a bad experience, I haven't seen any of that & we're going into the 5th year of using this pharmacy & we go A LOT!!! Actually about to go up there now to drop off my daughter's strep prescription from the hospital. & just an FYI, I don't work for CVS Pharmacy in any way, shape or form, nor do I have friends or family that works for them either. It is mid morning on a Thursday. Surely, a very slow period for most pharmacies. I was on hold 20 minutes the first phone call before I had to take another call. Now I have been on hold for 30 minutes and counting. They are always understaffed or just dont care but it's one or the other. Extremely pleased with the pharmacy. Been with them since early 2013, and it has gone from hell to a decent pharmacy honestly. Yes there will be some days where there is a long wait, but give them a break. Cvs pharmacy is one of the largest popular pharmacy chains like say compared to a Target or Albertsons pharmacy, which will have less customers. Their phone service is not great, but everything else is pretty fair. Customer service is great, and many of the techs are competent now. There are 1 or 2 new hires, so they may need more training but it will be worth it down the road because more help they have the better. they run out of stock on certain medications often, so be prepared to wait the next day to pick it up when it comes in. My sick wife happened to catch her doctor online last night t 11pm and she sent in a prescription to the 24 hour CVS Pharmacy at Preston and Forest in north Dallas. When I arrived shortly thereafter. The script was ready, but the tech gave me a funny look and said it will be $149.00 and asked if we didn't have insurance. WHAT? We have BCBS, he said they don't cover drugs at CVS, ONLY at Walgreens! He got on the computer and looked at a couple things and asked If I had a sign up with GoodRX? I do and use that website to check on drug prices for insurance claims (my work). Anyway, I said Yes and he said it will be $18.47 sign right here! The pharmacy was very helpful in getting me going as soon as possible. I did not have my insurance card, so they went ahead and started the filling process while I called home for the numbers. I've had prescriptions with this CVS for over a year. My experience has been spotty. At times things run smoothly. Other times . . . I've had medications on auto-refill suddenly get off auto-fill. I've had regular prescriptions get called in twice, creating problems with getting it refilled. The pharmacy employees are a mixed bag, some offering good service and others - not so much. I'm going to move these prescriptions after my next doctor appointment. The photography portion of the store is utterly worthless. I ordered a poster and it took well over a month to arrive. I then made a one-hour photo order through the website but learned when I arrived that their machine was not working. It's an old machine, no longer getting good service, and it breaks down every day.. This is what an employee told me. He also suggested that I get photos done elsewhere. He was trying to be honest and helpful so I don't fault him. But I'm taking his advice and getting photos done elsewhere from now on. read more

CVS is the worst for RX refills....they take it upon themselves to refill RX you may not need. They have an automated call system that calls several times a day for several days.They have terrible hours of service, can not take you off the call list at the pharmacy, and IF some one else picks up your RX they will be sold more than you ordered and than they will not take them back. CVS screws their customers all the way around, with no consideration for the disabled, sick and/or elderly. This should be lower than 1 star........they are a horrible nuisance! read more
