She called in, the assured me working on it that moment. 5 phone calls, over total hour + on hold, arrive for pick up (out x 4 days now) Received lecture from tech stating I needed to wait for text before I could pick it up. The Walgreens Pharmacy at 500 Centennial Blvd in Richardson, Tx was terrible in filling my prescription. If I could rate it at 0 stars, I would. The pharmacy department had over 26 hours to fill the prescription. When I arrived in person to ask if my prescription was ready, the pharmacy department said it was not ready due to "safety issues." When I asked what that meant, they said they hold prescriptions for review to ensure the prescription's accuracy. The pharmacy department then told me the prescription would be ready in another 1.5 hours...RIDICULOUS! Avoid this Walgreens... go to CVS instead. CVS will fill prescriptions quickly and efficiently. read more

I really don't know what is going on with this pharmacy but I have never had as many issues as I have had with this location. There always seems to be some issue with the medication that is called in for me, or there is a delay, or they need to wait for their supplier to have more. There have been issues with them entering in the wrong instructions to where my insurance will deny covering the cost. I almost had to pay $46 for a medication that would have been $0 because they entered in the instructions wrong on how to take the meds. I had this one transferred to Tom Thumb and I had no issues. Most recently I was prescribed a steroid pack, that was supposed to come in a package that had instructions on how to take them. Instead, I was given a regular pill bottle with pills with NO instructions. Assuming I was to take 1 a day I did. but I called the pharmacy to be sure and it was one of those steroid packs where I need to take 6 first day, then 5, then 4 etc. I had no idea. I dont understand why this location is so terrible and inept. I have fully switched to Tom Thumb. read more

I love this Walgreens Location. It's very close to my house, it's always clean stocked and orderly. The staff are always professional and courteous. I've been using this location for 8 years to fill my prescriptions and I've never had any issue with the pharmacy. The pharmacy techs are always very nice and courteous. Walgreens has a great variety of items so when i only need one or 2 items and don't want to hike through target, this Walgreens is my go-to store. Ignore all of the bad reviews, they're just cry babies who expect people to break the rules or laws for them and get triggered when ppl tell them no. This location is always Fast, easy, convenient and courteous. read more

This pharmacy is severely understaffed. The personnel are generally polite and competent, however Walgreens is simply not providing enough staffing to do the job properly. Waits are long at the pharmacy window. Phone calls either result in either a long wait on hold before being answered, or often result in being on hold for 15 minutes and then disconnected. Walgreens, please provide enough staffing for the pharmacy to do its job. read more

After getting no service at Allen, Alma and McDermott walgreen pharmacy I came to pick up my prescription from this pharmacy. Peter , pharmacist tech, was extremely polite patient and customer focused. He tried to get my prescription filled but could not because the other Walgreens pharmacy messed up my prescription. So in the end I had to purchase the eye drops and he gave me a big discount. Customer service makes the difference. I wish he would manage the list location from Allen. Also I could not use my FSA account using a picture of my card. They need the card itself , this is a recent change at Walgreens unfortunately. read more

I have been using this Walgreen location for 22 years because it is so close to me, but that is not the reason I use it. I could go to a CVS and there are two of those just as close, but this Walgreens at Whitehall and Centennial is so friendly and professional. I always am respected when I go there. I use the drive through most of the time, but it does not take long and I am happy when I leave there. A great Store from front to back. I also get my shots there. Flu etc. read more

I went in to get a booster shot. I lost my vaccination card but the local pharmacy I got my original shots at had submitted my vaccination to the national vaccination department that all pharmacy's have access too. Before I came I called my pharmacy and told them I had lost it. They gave me the days and assured me that any pharmacy would be able to look it up. I show up and Inform them of my missing vaccination card and that it should be in the national vaccination department. But somehow the most common pharmacy in the world. Does not have access to it. And refused to give me the shot. I even let the pharmacy I originally went to talk to them and they still refused. I was trying to do my part in helping keeping others safe. and I was prevented by insensitive pharmacist who only care about a check. Thank you for helping keep the world safe killing it read more

It's always a toss up between Walgreens or CVS. I normally frequent to CVS but this Walgreens is closer to my house. It's always very quiet very clean and there are always staff ready to assist you if you are in search of something on the floor. You are always greeted with a friendly hello and a smile. Some Walgreens products are always out of stock when you visit them but not this Walgreens they stay on top of their inventory. I like this Walgreens for all of those reasons and most of all its never crowded and never has long lines you are always able to get in and get out. read more

Glad to see a sign on the entrance door informing customer's must wear mask, but surprised they were allowing people in without masks. A customer even asked an employee was it ok not to have one & they were told come on in. Staff is friendly & helpful, problem is that staff is not enforcing the required mask. Walgreens, can give a mask if a customer doesn't have one, but stick to your own rules; masks need to be worn to enter & be inside store. Make the door sign bigger, keep customers and employees safe! read more

The WORST pharmacy in town. I have used Walgreens for years and always found the pharmacy to be great. This one is the exception. After shorting my c-2 prescriptions 3 or 4 times I had to move the script. No problem at the new pharmacy. I recently used them again bc my doc called in my prescription there, and when I asked for a ONE day loaner pill until the approval came in they refused. For a benign low risk medication. My "history" with them is too short, they said. I was reminded why this is the WORST pharmacy in Richardson. read more

I do like how there's never a long line, how clean it is, and how friendly the staff working there is. OK so I came in this morning to put some money on my Green Dot card and I use the app so as to make it for free which I've done several times through different managers to managers to speak of who scanned the app on my phone and the money was deposited for free on my Green Dot card I come here this morning now this guy says he can't scan barcodes on phones of course unless they're other barcodes from other companies or something like that I'm very disappointed does anyone know anything about this read more

I have been using them for months, we get all our prescriptions filled here and they flat out refused to call another store to get my prescription transferred TO THEM?? My husband attempted to get his prescription filled here Sunday, August 28, 2016 at noon. The pharmacist on duty refused to fill his prescription. Said "I cannot in good conscience fill this." and refused to help him. He would not call the doctor to verify the prescription or anything - just flat out refused service. Not quite sure when it became ok for medical professionals to refuse service based on THEIR personal moral or ethical beliefs, but rest assured we will NEVER come to this pharmacy again. The location is great and offers easy in and out parking. When you go inside the employees are always friendly, and my favorite part is the clearance aisle. I always find something I need or want. The prices are a little higher than Kroger but you pay for the convenience of in and out and quick lines. read more

If I could I would give this pharmacy a negative 5. Horrible customer service. Constant change of pharm techs due to high turnover rate. Main pharmacist doesn't care about anything. Constant problems getting the meds filled correctly even though it states in big bold letters and is signed no substitution it still gets filled wrong. Liars. Judge horribly esp if you are on a life long script and other scripts and they say we see you to often. Um excuse me, do you really think I want to take this med? So sorry I have anxiety/panic disorder and depression. Your high turnover rate probably has to do with the way you treat your staff. Losing scripts is also not something to brush over. I didn't have a problem until December of 17 when you lost two of my medicines twice. I've been a Walgreens customer since 2001. Never had a problem with other locations until I moved here to Richardson. This location is by far the worst ever. It's just declining more and more and I've been doing here since 2015. If I were you I'd stay far away. I don't have time for incompetency. I put up with it a long time and this is the end of the line for this Walgreens. read more

The manager here is very unprofessional which is shocking because all other staff I have interacted with are incredibly customer service-driven. I came in to take my passport photo and had an online coupon code that stated it could be used in-store when presented at check out. The manager just kept repeating "it doesn't work" and had no empathy or solution to somehow honor the code. His associate was at least apologetic about the inconvenience. Varied efficiency with prescriptions, as they failed to inform me they weren't going to stock one of my meds any longer and set off events that required a single medication be transferred nearby pharmacy, despite a household member on same med. No explanation to this day of why. No suggested way to have medication ordered to prevent having to go to two pharmacies. Very strange. Attempted to have all meds scheduled for pickup at same time, but continues to remain strangely off despite all filled at same time initially. Was questioned amid obvious pain as to whether I actually needed a specific otc med that needed signing for. Recently relayed this to others and was reminded feeling like a criminal while picking up meds shouldn't be a thing. read more
