Finally, Damion showed up, unlocked the case, and I got my product Asked Damion why it took so long. His response, "Just him working the store. He was busy with another customer." Have been struggling to get a scrip filled with them for 3 days even though the doctor called it in, twice. The pharmacist doesn't bother just says, "your doctor is going to have to send it again." Even though it's been sent in multiple times. Another pharmacist just shuffles you on to the rude lady because she also does not want to deal with any technical issues. Neither of them punch more than three keys on the computer. I think their MO is frustrate anyone whose prescription has been bugged by the computer and hopefully they will go away. Today's experience involved the RX department. They handled a script earlier in the day for me, I had no problems, considering the volume of customers. Everything was @ a steady flow. Thank-you! Later on, in the same day, I required another RX. Once again, no problems, and I didn't wait long. It was important for me to get the RX before closing. Tony in this pharmacy is wonderful. On the other hand, Kathy is incompetent, whines about how busy she is, eavesdrops on customers' conversations instead of paying attention to what she should be doing and doesn't prepare prescriptions timely. It took me 3 trips last Wednesday to get the seizure medicine that Tony had ordered the prior Friday and said would be ready Monday or Tuesday. First, Kathy & her asst argued with me that the store had been closed the prior Friday, when it had not; I had been in on Friday and Tony had given me a 5 day partial fill until the pills came in on Monday. Of course, lazy, incompetent Kathy did not have the medicine ready on Wednesday. When I said I would go home to print a GoodRx coupon to pay the lower price, Kathy snarled "THAT'S not going to happen." I said I would go to another pharmacy. I tried 2 other CVS stores but Kathy, to jerk me around or out of extreme incompetence, had left the prescription open on the computer, alleging she was processing it. I complained to CVS corporate who told me the prescription would be ready shortly. I went back 7 1/2 hours later & Kathy still had not prepared the pills, telling me to wait until after she had finished everyone else's scripts. I went back the 3rd time an hour after that and the pills were ready. However, Kathy delayed giving her credentials to the cashier so I could pay & leave, instead sneering and discussing my prescription in a derisive tone with the elderly customer in line. Ever hear of HIPPA, Kathy? Then she threatened to call the police. When I said "go ahead," she then threatened to bar me from the pharmacy. Run away from this pharmacy if you see a large, whining female pharmacist with frizzy hair behind the counter. read more

Score, this CVS pharmacy location is opened 24 hours, including today (on Christmas). After arriving in Dallas via plane earlier this afternoon, my husband and I decided to pick up some water to have during our week long vacation in Texas. The variety of water was rather slim, but we ended up getting a 24 pack of 16.9 (fluid oz) plastic bottles for only $2.44, which is a real cheap deal. We typically purchase our water in those gallon bottles, but price wise, this is the best way to go. This CVS location doesn't have much selection in the food section (but most CVS don't really since they don't specialize in it), but it has the bare minimum that will hold us until tomorrow when the grocery markets resume regular business hours. The cashier at the front of the store was friendly. Parking was plentiful. This CVS location is located in the same plaza as Tom Thumb and right next door to a MetroPCS store. read more

Manager was gruff and unsmiling, seeming not wanting to be distracted from stocking to answer questions. They sold my husband a faulty rescue inhaler and refused to replace it. Told him to contact the manufacturer. We called and they were very helpful, told him they'd call the pharmacy to authorize a replacement. The pharmacy didn't (wouldn't) answer their phone. My husband had to go back down to the pharmacy, exposing himself to very unsafe air quality levels, and ask them to answer their phone when it rings. After the pharmacist spoke with the manufacturer and rejected every solution the manufacturer offered, the manufacturer agreed to ship a new inhaler to my husband. We should get it in FIVE DAYS. read more

I'm not sure why everyone seems to be ragging on this store, because it was great "TO ME". My whole house (6 people) are coughing and sneezing suffering from allergies and sinus infection. I just went there, at 3:30am, and the shopping was a breeze. I picked up some cough medicine (about 100 to choose from), some sinus congestion medicine (about 30 to choose from) and some Gatorade. I couldn't find the kind I wanted so the clerk sent to the back room to get me some. The self-checkout doesn't accept cash, so the clerk checked me out in about 1m flat. Had the items rung up, bagged and change provided. I'm soooo glad that CVS understands that our community still NEEDS a 24hr drug store for the middle-of-the-night OTC emergencies. Do not go to this pharmacy. I hate it. They are rude. Will have full conversation amongst themselves while a customer is standing at the counter to pick up a prescription. This is my neighborhood CVS and I go here often. I hadn't been here in a while but with my change in insurance I needed transfer my prescriptions to CVS. I was a little stressed but when I called and talk to the pharmacy they walked me through the entire process and were really helpful. I was shocked by how easy it was to not only set up new insurance but transfer over my prescriptions that I had been filling at the same place for years. When I went to go pick up my prescriptions the same pharmacist was there from ten years ago. I was shocked to see a familiar face but it made me feel like this really was my local pharmacy even though it's a chain. While there are minimal products in this CVS because it's smaller, everyone here is always friendly and helpful. It's not the cleanest or tidiest store but the friendliness and customer service of the employees make up for it. If you live in the area, I would definitely recommend using this CVS, besides the fact it's opened 24 hrs, there will definitely be a time that you will need a location like this! read more

We live literally across the street from this CVS and are there every other day, if not sometimes daily. Needless to say we've developed a semi-more than customer-relationship with everyone but that started from the stellar customer service we have received over the 2 years we've been going there. Blake, in the pharmacy, is one of the best. He is friendly, positive, and doesn't make you feel like you're another person in line. Mary and Nikki have been great to us as well up front with customer service. There is always a deal going on, or we all know about the coupon selection. My only complaint would be when it is slammed and the line is forever long, there isn't someone there to back up the person at the register. As nice and clean your store may be and friendly as your employees are...no one wants to stand in line for 12 mins just trying to buy a Red Bull and go to work while one person behind the counter is in panic mode with all the people in line watching them. listen, this is my go to CVS because it's 24 hours. but the service here is insanity. I can't say anything about the pharmacy aspect because I've never had a prescription sent here (I just use the Tom Thumb next door, they're AWESOME!). However, the "manager" here is the rudest person ever. I had a very late (and very important) photo order. He shooed me off the chair and talked to me like I was an idiot. Not my fault your system is crap and didn't want to print my photos. He didn't offer a solution, and I had already paid for it online so am I supposed to just let it sit there if it ever gets fulfilled? It was a simple, SAME DAY photo order that I had deliberately placed early in the morning so they'd print it that morning. They do not answer the phone, I waited on hold for 30 minutes (I know, why would I stay on the line that long? Well I was hoping for someone to notice that there was a call waiting..stupid). Anyways, yes I will still go here because of convenience but if you actually have something to do here, there's a lovely CVS on walnut hill that'll help you out, it's not 24 hours though. read more

Crazy how this legacy store in this neighborhood can have a pharmacy that performs so poorly. After reading all the other reviews, I felt like piling on. Long day. If there are two people in line in a perfect world, checkout here will be more than 30 minutes. Plan accordingly as nothing is perfect in this world. At this CVS, things are exceptionally far from perfect. They didn't text when my script was filled. Took 24 hours to fill refills (refill the refills?). I called them for life saving meds and was told that they need to update my phone number....on their computer...making sure I felt that it was my fault is key to their job description. How is this the only cvs in Texas that can't text me when a prescription is filled? They updated my phone number in their system. Their coupon application system charged me 300$ for 90 day supply of designer drugs that make me appear calmer than I really am. I asked if they applied coupons. Automatic, I'm told. If true, why bother? They didn't call me. Took 4 days total to do a one hour task. I found the cvs coupon for the 90 day supply...$100. Bullet dodged. On checkout, I noticed they updated my phone number incorrectly. Purportedly fixed now under my watchful attendance. Second bullet dodged, for now. Headed to the car I assisted a 90 year old little lady to her car. She had been in a car accident and could barely preamble. Im no hero, but the only individuals on the planet that would let this frail gem walk in the rain to her car alone in the cold work at this CVS. The world righted itself and off to dinner. This pharmacy is horrible! I have a very sick family member who is on multiple medication and unfortunately, some of them are scheduled medications. So while I understand that the DEA is involved Cvs also has its own processes that keep them from ordering these medication's even though they are routine, they will keep my loved one alive, and they are consistently late or they will not give me the prescribed medication as it is prescribed by her physician! She will die without these medication's. I tell them at advance they are due to be filled, they have to order them, they are always late, there is never the same staff there, and the pharmacist had the audacity to imply that I was trying to get them quote "early". Then she had the audacity to say "if we see a pattern we can do tighter controls on them". Yes, I let them know they are due to be filled because invariably they are having to order them and then they don't get them and then we are out of the medication, they can't get the medication, they give me less than the prescription is written for, I could go on and on. The bottom line is they have processes in place that could kill my loved one. The Almighty Cvs , the Almighty pharmacist, that can't follow the prescribing doctors orders! read more
