    Chocolate chip cookie
    Laarni L.

Corner donut shop in an unassuming plaza. Parking shared with several businesses. I saw the choc cookies on Yelp so I wanted to stop in. Snagged a chocolate bar donut, chocolate as expected, pretty moist and soft donut, fresh tasting even though I arrived in the afternoon at 2pm. Got a couple chocolate chip cookies , they are a chewy texture, pretty balanced taste, a good home made solid chocolate chip cookie, will return when I'm in the area. Saw a sign cash only, glad I had some change on me :)

No frills, very mom & pop bakery in a small strip plaza. I found this place thanks to a Yelp search and I'm so glad I did! I just wanted a sweet little treat and this was perfect! 50 cents a cookie, $5 per dozen. You can't beat these prices! AND for the cookies to be super soft, chewy, delicious? A WIN WIN I see other reviews mentioning them fresh out of the oven. These have been on the display rack for a while (not at all hot) BUT still really quality cookies! Chocolate chip and snickerdoodle were both really good! Like simple done right. I'm here to sing praises for the oatmeal chocolate chip!!! I love oatmeal cookies and hate raisin-- so for this place to do oatmeal raisin /and/ oatmeal chocolate chip? A WIN !! I got 6 oatmeal chocolate cookies and am a very happy camper. They're soft, chewy, perfectly good amount of sweet without being too much. There's a bunch of parking in the lot. There's no space to really eat in the store but that's not the vibes of the place anyways. Super small store for just grab n go. Definitely will be back the next time I'm in the area! Will try their donuts next time too!

Been craving for chocolate chip cookies, and this place just does it for me! A bite into my childhood treat. Just love how soft and sweet it is.

The reviews on the cookies did not disappoint. I got chocolate chips and my fav oatmeal raisin cookies, delish! I also got a plain croissant, sooo good! I forgot to take a pic of the croissant, i was hungry ;) I will definitely be back for more.

Second time reviewing this place and again I say the best chocolate chip cookies in OC. It's just simple non gimmicky and delicious. Her oatmeal raisin and snickerdoodle cookies are good as well and it's super cheap, surprised this place does have a line but she does sell out regularly, very accommodating and nice lady

Fresh out of the oven ! For the nurses :) #weekendshifts

CASH ONLY! Or Venmo :) These are the freshest most delicious donuts I've ever had. I stopped here on a Saturday morning around 6:30 AM to pick up some donuts for the nurses prior to going to work. They were coming fresh out of the oven when I arrived. She charged me $12 for a dozen donuts which I think is very fair!!!! I tried the apple cinnamon one and it was sooooooo delicious. The owner was sweet and polite. I will definitely be coming back!

The business has a few tables outside and a good amount of seating inside as well. I ordered a Ube Cream Coffee - Saigon Style ($5.50). Yummmm!! I love how strong but creamy and delicious this coffee is. I'm hooked! I am Vietnamese and I approve of this cup of coffee. While I was there I saw their glorious casing of pastries and I couldn't resist. I ordered and enjoyed: 2 Garlic Bread ($5.35/each), Chocolate Croissant ($6.60), Almond Croissant ($6.85), Cinnamon Pull Apart Bread ($4.75) and 2 Macarons ($3.20). Their pastries are fantastic. My boyfriend doesn't enjoy sweets as much as I do so that garlic bread was good for it. The croissants were really flakey and flavorful. I enjoyed the bread. For the macarons I was given a third one as a thanks for all the items I orders and I liked all 3. Yum! Wish I could come back to support the business, especially with their incredible coffee, but I was told that they will be closing on 7/31/26. I'm so sad I didn't discover them sooner. I wish them all the best and hope they re-open in the future.

The cream is super smooth and filled with actual durian pulp--no artificial flavor at all. The sponge is so light and fluffy that it almost melts in your mouth, and it pairs perfectly with the rich, fruity durian cream. I already love fresh durian and durian ice cream, but this was my first time trying a durian cake, and it completely exceeded my expectations. The 6-inch cake was $68, so it's definitely a treat, but I'd happily buy it again. Just make sure to order a few days ahead. The service was amazing too. Since it was our anniversary, they added a cute "Happy Anniversary" sign to the cake at no extra charge. When we picked it up, they even reminded us to head straight home because the summer heat could affect the cake. You can tell they genuinely care about the quality of their cakes and want customers to enjoy them at their best. Definitely coming back to try more flavors!

So, I bought a 1/4 sheet cake for my husband's birthday on purpose because I wanted leftovers!!! The fruit is fresh and plentiful. It seems a bit messy, or maybe they need a bigger shop. Step further into the shop and there it is, the case of cakes! The case itself is old and the window to view the cakes is not clear, seems foggy. Hard to see the cakes. But with all the hype about this bakery on social media, I had to try it The Fruit Cakes are unique with fresh fruit not glazed or jam. Big bite size strawberries, mango, kiwi, grapes, pineapple with a thin layer of sponge cake, layers of crunchy phyllo and whipped cream. The smallest cake is a 1/4 sheet which cost $45. With all the fruit on top, it made it challenging to slice nice looking dessert slices. Super yummy, I can understand why people are making reels about this place on social media. It's a winner. Friendly service, accommodating and responsive to our needs. We requested no kiwi due to one allergy to it and they make it within 10 minutes.

I went around 12:30 pm and it was a packed lot. The store itself was too busy and felt cramped. The space seems suitable for smaller groups. At the time, there was a line before you could order. It took almost 10 minutes for the order to be ready. American Express is accepted here. Sea Salt Coffee: This was on the signature section so I had big expectations for it. It was a very small drink (9 oz). It was slightly salted, tasted bitter, and wasn't sweet despite having condensed milk as an ingredient. It wasn't good. Canale: Despite having to wait for the drink, I needed to wait longer for this because the staff forgot to put it in the order. I needed to wait for them to prepare it in the back and also go back to the counter to charge for it. All to wait for something that was mushy. Coffee Beans: I saw there were coffee beans from Glitch in Japan. It was a brand that I loved there so I wanted to give it a try. I don't usually like fruity notes but this was really delicious. However, it's extremely pricy for how little beans there is.
