We parked and walked into the store and saw a yummy display of donuts and croissants. We chose our favorites which includes a lemon filled and a plain croissant for the missus and a chocolate covered round one for me. It's cash at the counter. All was great as we drove off. Great service, delicious donuts, and the most delicious creamy milk--all at a decent price. I've been here three times now, the quality and service is consistent. My timing happens to be during swing shift timing, if that matters. There are a few tables and chairs for eating. A simple old dining area. Be prepared, it's cash only. Also, I don't smoke and it's not smokey in or outside--no one lounging outside--they sell cigarettes. A local spot that has been around forever. I used to come here all the time as a kid before we moved. The owners were always so nice and would greet us and chat whenever we came in. I live down the street and was craving some glazed donuts. Came here since its open 24 hours and expected stale donuts for the hour I was going at.. but to my surprise the donut was moist and delicious. They also had a wide selection available during that time while other places (King Donut) usually has stale, old left over donuts. Their donuts are also affordable and reasonably priced compared to big corporate donuts. They weren't the best donuts I ever had in my life, but still quality enough for me to come back. My first time there I was helped by an older lady. She was little stern and straight to the point. Which I didn't mind, I'm there for quick donuts not fantastic customer service. My second time I was helped by this older gentleman who was super nice and friendly. My heart hurt a bit cause he reminded me of my grandpa. This donut shop is down the street from my house and whenever I need to bring in some goodies for work, I come here. The couple working here is super cute. They don't really speak English that well so she might come off as rude but it's probably because she is waiting for you to point to what you want. Neg zero....walked in ready to buy 1 dz. Donuts and 2 ice french coffees for my stroke friend and his wife. We wanted 6 donuts in each box to split the dz which was about 8 bucks per. Dz.. The dumb ass tells us he cant do that he would have to charge us more $$$$? Did we have stupid written on our foreheads? We did the old Alberston's you remember what that was right? The Albertson's is when your not being treated right make a bee hive and turn around and walk out leave all your shit there. So now how much sense did it make to tell us no,? Now dumb ass has 12 donuts that will sit there and he lost the $8.00 plus the $8.00 for the 2 ice coffees. If I was working there, I would treat my customers better than that. Ok so I'm not a huge donuts fan. I tend to eat them when I get a craving and then its usually late at night and they can be stale. Then I think, why do I eat donuts? Donut Star is changing that. Went here a couple weeks ago and grabbed donuts after eating pho a couple doors down. Now I was hormonal at the time so when the donuts tasted like the BEST donuts I've ever had, I was still skeptical. We bought them around 130am and I swear, they were super fresh and light and delish. So I went back on a Sunday morning and I was happy to see the place packed. Still very fast service and again, the BEST and freshest tasting donuts I've ever had! Ok as I write this thinking about driving over there. So please any Donut lovers please try this place and let me know. Update, forgot to mention had the jalapeno ham and cheese croissants both times and they were great. I've been coming here since I first moved to Orange County in 1994. I really like the donuts here, my faves are their cinnamon rolls and apple fritters. The current ownership has been in place since I started coming here (17 years and counting), which is quite remarkable considering a nearby donut shop I formerly patronized has changed owners no less than 10 times in the same time frame. The center this place is located in isn't the cleanest and you have to dodge homeless people and pigeons, but I highly recommend it nevertheless! read more

I crave a donut more often than not, and at the most random times therefore I've had donuts from the most random places, and this place stands out a little more. I had a maple bar here, and both my love and I agreed it was pretty darn good. Fresh too, but I went on a Sunday morning so I should't expect anything BUT fresh. This shop is also the closest in proximity to my house, that and being that their donuts did not disappoint should lead me to go no where else when I need my donut fix. For the record, I've had dry donuts at alot of other places, and it was nice having a fresh donut for a change! The corner of the strip joint it's in is pretty ghetto, alot of homeless folks. Had a random donut craving the other day and decided to check this joint out. Not in the cleanest part of town and the building it's located in is worn down. I went inside and scanned the selection for the right donut. These unique crumb donuts stood out from the pack. I asked the owner what kind they were, and I think she said they were cinnamon crumb. I got two and hoped for the best but they were actually very delicious. If you love cinnamon, these are for you. They compliment hot coffee perfectly. Only 85 cents each! I will be back! read more
