I have been buying from DK's for over 20 years. I don't go anywhere else. They are the best in the city not greasy, fluffy and moist. I only buy the Donuts, they really do the best Donuts. I've been going to this little donut spot since I was too little to know how to pay for them! This is exactly what a donut shop is when you think of one. The donuts are always so soft and delicious regardless of what time youre purchasing them! Theyre open 24 hours which is incredibly convenient for me since its super close and I always want a donut :). They also sell ice cream and your typical donut shop drinks! I used to come here all the time when I was in high school. Good donuts, good ice cream, even better service. I dropped my ice cream once immediately after it was handed to me (I didn't even get a chance to lick it) and was going to pay for another when the lovely lady behind the counter gave me a second ice cream cone for free :-) It used to be cash-only, but I'm not sure if it still is. Went there around 2am, wanted a croissant they have real big croissants there so i went w a group of people and we sat at the last chairs near the window where you can see the donut guy making the donuts i believe the one that was making the donuts is the one who owns the place, we were eating and a customer walks in, he buys his coffee and the owner (the one making the donuts) handles the cash and we see him return to making the donuts without washing his hands yea he handled dirty prostitute money and didn't wash his hands, on the way out we decide to tell him that we noticed that he didn't wash his hands and told him that he should wash them because its not sanitary, he gets all mad and starts arguing w us saying that he wiped them on a towel in the back (obvious lie because he didn't, i was looking at what he was doing and he didn't wipe his hands) either way wiping your hands on a towel does not make them instantly clean it was disgusting and i wouldn't recommend the donuts here, they taste real cheap and old bad customer service- argued w me and started yelling badly tasting food, not real good read more
