Donuts assorted
Sabeena S.

Good donuts. Found them on too good to go. Good service. I get the on the way to work in the morning and they always have a line. Small interior. Asked for assorted and they gave me all the same kind of donut.

Everything bagel with cream cheese, my free donut hole and large coffee.

I've only been to this place 4 times and every time , the women that I see behind those delicious donuts are happy smiling faces ready to serve. The place is small with a few seats but that little back corner where the tables are make you feel like your at home. Two little boys came in the store and they were greeted by first name. They know their customers !!! That's what I call service. When it comes to the food, the breakfast sandwich's are big. The coffee never tastes burnt which is a huge plus. I got a large coffee with a everything bagel and to my surprise the gave a me a free donut hole! . Made my morning

Fresh donuts and my coffee!

Found this place by chance near school and I love it. The breakfast sandwiches are great, hefty sized, loaded up, warmed up and they offer jalapeños too! The donuts are delicious and taste fresh every time. Recently discovered their horchata iced coffee and Im obsessed. They're so sweet, and very accommodating when I asked for almond milk. There's plenty of parking in the morning and seating inside if you want to eat in. Nice, warm and comfortable inside. Very fast paced and welcoming place to grab a quick bite and a coffee!

Good place! Decent prices and a good breakfast food stop! Got the jalapeño ham and cheese croissant! I think it was like $3.50 but I liked it and was able to share with my cousin!!

Bagel "with" cream cheese. Ridiculous. Bagel was stale too. Never again.

Paid $4 for a bagel "with" cream cheese. Basically had no cream cheese. It's almost like she went out of her way to give me this little. They did give me free donut holes for the check in tho so two stars for that.

Small place, but very good donuts, trust me you will love it, those giants Donut companies out there can't compare to this small shop.

Great local donut shop! Their ham and cheese croissant is really good. The donuts taste fresh and not dry at all.

OVERALL : I would probably give this place 6 stars if I…read morecould. I just had a bagel today and want to come back again tmrw! Still my fav bagel in OC. Boil and Bake specializes in high quality, locally sourced ingredients that they use to create their bagel sandwiches and open-faed bagels, as well as house-made sauces, spreads, and butter. They have been getting more popular (expect a 20ish min wait on a Sunday around 10am) with a line out the door, but it is well worth the wait. There is an outdoor patio to enjoy your bagels with coffee, juice, tea, or wines. They had 5 fresh-baked bagel options to chose from: plain, everything, sesame, cacio e pepe, and white cheddar jalapeno. Once you order, you can sit outside in the garden area / outdoor patio to enjoy your meal. PARKING : There is a decently sized parking lot with some spots right out front of the shop. FOOD/DRINKS : The Heirloom: Plain Cream Cheese, Valdivia Farms Heirloom Tomato, Capers, Dill, Lemon, Fat Gold Olive Oil --- Soooooo tasty! We got a cacio e pepe bagel which was not too overpowering so that we could still taste the actual bagel + cream cheese + the items on top. They were SO generous w/ the cream cheese, and the tomatoes are juicy and flavorful. It was so bright and refreshing, not heavy at all with the lemon, capers, and dill. I def need to come back for this one again.

Great, unique creative bagel flavors like Cacio e Pepe and White Cheddar Jalapeno, with locally sourced ingredients! We ordered the Heirloom on a Cacio e Pepe bagel, an interesting bagel flavor I don't see anywhere else. The Heirloom is an open-faced bagel with your bagel of choice sliced in two halves, toasted, covered in cream cheese, and topped with local sourced heirloom tomatoes, capers, dill, lemon, and olive oil. It was an amazing dish with all of the ingredients working well together! I loved the bagel itself, being crispy on the outside but soft the inside. I love my usual cream cheese on a toasted bagel but the juicy-ness of the tomato, acidity of the capers, flavor of the dill, and brightness from the lemon really played together to elevated it in a balanced-manner without overpowering the bagel. I've been on a bagel kick, trying to find great bagel with cream cheese. Thus, I've been focusing on simple bagel combinations that don't overpower the bagel and allow me to taste the bagel itself and Boil & Bake definitely exceeded my expectations. There was actually a line out the door to order on a Sunday morning (around 9am); the wait was not bad at all and was around 20-30 mins. I'm glad that they are popular and business seems to be good! We ate our food in the outdoor dining area, which was a vibe. Can't wait to comeback and revisit their sandwiches and other bagels!

You know, I read that this was on Orange County list of being the best donuts in the county. That's…read morea pretty high mark as there were only 3 on that list. People were talking about how flakey this neighborhood mom and pop donut shop was in Fountain Valley so I had to give a shot. It was listed on "Orange County Register" ranked #1 as the best donut shop in the county. You can search it up. On a Sunday morning, I drove to Fountain Valley to check out this "Angelfood" donuts and such... (do you see the play on name there? lol). It is nestled behind the familiar 7leaves, tucked in its own building with a quaint drive thru. Inside, the store was very simple where Linh greeted me. She had excellent customer service as she was serving people through a drive thru. What Mom and Pop place has a drive-thru? That makes it unique. As I looked around the store, it seemed pretty quaint. I am hoping that means that they focused all their energy onto their donuts. I was able to get the last glazed donut as it was almost 10:45am. First off, the price, was only $1.25 as of this writing! I was like, woah! WHAT A DEAL as Extra Emily would say on Twitch. However, when I first bit into it, I was a bit disappointed. It was good but not the best glazed donut I ever had. The donut shop next to my house in Huntington Beach is a bit more expensive but it TASTES better than this. The donut here is fluffy but not as fluffy as I thought. It's chewy but not enough chew in the center and not as dense. I was expecting a lot for the #1 donut spot on the Orange County Newspaper Nonetheless, for the price point, it is priced appropriately for the taste. If I paid more, I would've been more disappointed. Hence 4 out of 5 yelp stars.

I've only done the most basic order and its either a egg bagel or jalapeño cheddar bagel with either jalapeño schmear or extra lox schmear with slices of lox on top. Buttered and toasted!!! I used to hate toasted bagels but now I can't get enough, I just love those crispy edges. Everything tastes fresh, nothing stale or gone bad and fantastic side potato salad .The service is solid and I love coming in to eat inside when I get the chance and cravings. I really want to try something else but lox bagels give me life. If I were at home, I'd add wasabi tobiko to it. I usually do that when I make my own lox bagel, I also add capers, red onion and tomato, but I don't want to smell pungent going into my pedicure LOL. Only thing I dislike is their hours but I get it. As long as I have time and the craving hits, I'm going to continue visiting them for my HB bagel needs :p
