Each every time I go to Broomall Eye care, I get the right prescription! This may sound obvious; but trust me, I have had many bad experiences on the road. Recently, my wife came along for my visit. Dr A also looked at her eyes to see what he could diagnose. My wife has had eye trouble for years astigmatisms, retina/macula problems. Dr A advised her to see a cataract surgeon as he thought there was no other damage that he could assess. Long story short, my wife went to a recommended specialist and she now sees better than she has in many years. Dr A is a great Dr. I highly recommend his services. Unassuming, quiet and humble but very professional and knowledgable. Great Dr! And, yes, my glasses are the right prescription and work great!

Stephanie also gaslit me when I told her that she was giving me contradictory information to Dr. Biscardi, to which she kept saying, "I'm just looking at what's on the paper." I went to see a much, much more affordable and accessible doctor, who immediately got me started on vision therapy, saying I needed that to strengthen my eyes, something Dr. Biscardi didn't bring up until I asked about it. Most frustratingly, they are completely ignoring my and my new doctor's attempts to get my prescription. This is illegal. I'm only leaving this review because my friend had to leave a review to finally get their attention after they were being ignored. I just want my prescription so I can continue to get the care I need.

They prescribed medication for her and asked me whether I wanted to schedule a follow-up appointment. I told them that I would call later if I need to schedule a second appointment. Three month later, I was shocked to receive a bill for a cancelled second appointment which occurred one week after the first appointment. I called the provider and told them that I never scheduled a second appointment. They said that I made one according to their records. I reiterated that was not true and mentioned that I did not receive any card, email reminder or sms about any such appointment. They insisted that that I told the receptionist "yes" when she asked me whether I need to schedule a second appointment and that she made one for a week later. I told them that I refuse to pay for a missed second appointment that I never made and told them that I will share my experience on social media so other customers won't fall into the same trap. It is a shame that this provider tries to extort money from customers using unethical/fraudulent billing practices without providing any evidence. I will NEVER go to this provider again and plan to report them to the Better Business Bureau.

She was great at explaining the way the eye heals and what to expect, especially after the first eye was done, and I was waiting for the second eye to be operated on - that was a pretty weird experience! Everyone there is very helpful and the atmosphere is calm, plenty of beverages to enjoy in the waiting room. Great selection of frames. I need to go back and order a frame with my new prescription. I've never felt like any of the chain optometry businesses got my prescriptions quite right, but I have never felt that way after an exam with Dr. Kayla.

The extra exam fee was never disclosed and when I tried to advocate for myself (which I always find so awkward and uncomfortable and something I've had to actively practice throughout my life to gain courage to do) I was told I wouldn't be able to order any new contacts without paying this fee and getting an updated prescription. I felt like I was getting fear mongered and taken advantage of and it was awful. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else, in fact I called several other eye doctors on the same street and got a quote for $40 for a contact lens exam. Unfortunate for me and a hard lesson learned.
