My consultation went great and I was told I was a great candidate. I went over all of my medical issues (high blood pressure and diabetes). I asked a lot of questions on what to expect the day of the procedure. Made the appt for 3 weeks later. I just moved to Philly so, I used that time to find a new primary care provider who did blood work for my diabetic meds. I had to make arrangements to get coverage at my work which I had to pay for (hotels and flights for the people I was able to get). I prepaid two Uber rides for the day of the procedure ($70) as well as using 2 precious days off. I arrived ahead of time and instead of being brought in for the procedure, I was put in a room with someone who proceeded to do more tests?! The person who conducted my consultation apparently didn't put anything in the file regarding my diabetes. Unreal. The person left to speak to the surgeon and came back after 15 mins to tell me 'sorry, the doc doesn't feel comfortable doing the procedure until he knows what your A1C number is'! What!! A complete waste of time and money. I paid the $1200 down. I have only received $400 of that back so far. Paid for Uber rides. Paid to have work people flown in and housed. What was I offered? A $500 discount if I rescheduled and got the procedure done within 30 days! Are you kidding me?! If I was told that I would need to get test results done I would have during the timeframe between the procedure consultation. I had bloodwork last week! They completely wasted my time and money. I am very surprised with how poorly this went and the lack of guest recovery to make this right. Based on how this went and lack of reconnecting with me or even showing me that I am a valued customer, I won't be rescheduling at this center. Shameful and probably the worst experience I've ever had. So much for being excited about improving my life. In the end, it was basically too bad, we screwed you and will talk to the consultant but, we don't care enough about my time being very valuable. Very poor care, business practice and worst guest recovery ever. Stay away!!

I did a virtual consultation first with a very friendly staff member who answered all my questions. Then I did an in-person consultation and everyone who I met with there was extremely friendly, positive and helpful. I felt genuinely excited about correcting my -7 vision and the staff seemed excited for me too. The day of surgery I was a little nervous but mostly just looking forward to having good vision. The surgery was probably about 5 minutes altogether and it really was no big deal. I think people get worked up because the surgery is gruesome to watch on video but if you focus on your actual experience, which is painless, and just breathe, it's easy. I felt nothing leaving the office because the numbing drops hadn't worn off. By the time we got home, my eyes were starting to burn and tear and all I wanted to do was lay down and go to sleep. Because they were burning I couldn't fall asleep for about an hour but that feeling started to subside and I fell asleep for about 4 hours. When I woke up I felt much better and was seeing almost perfectly. My vision was a little hazy but clear. The day after one of them feels a little irritated like I have a dirty contact on but the haziness is already improving. The follow-up appointment went great and the doctor said my eyes look exactly as they should. Thank you for an excellent, life-changing experience!

From start to finish, the entire team made me feel informed, calm, and truly cared for. My surgeon, Dr. Julian Procope, was amazing--his calming disposition immediately put me at ease, and I felt completely confident in his care. The doctor who examined me initially, as well as my follow-up physician, Dr. Stoltz, were equally wonderful. Dr. Stoltz took extra time to walk me through my options, especially helping me decide between corrective vision and monovision. What stood out most was that he allowed me to experience what my vision would be like ahead of time, so I could make a truly informed decision without pressure. That level of patience and education meant everything. The office manager, Mrs. Parker, was also fantastic--she patiently went over all my paperwork, answered every question thoroughly, and made the administrative side feel seamless and stress-free. I would highly recommend LasikPlus, especially to anyone in their 50s who may feel unsure about whether LASIK is worth it at this stage of life. For me, it absolutely was. I'm so grateful to be done with years of contacts and glasses and to step into this next chapter with clarity--literally and figuratively. If you're on the fence, I encourage you to explore it. I'm so glad I did.

All of the staff made my consult, pre-op appt, and procedure so much easier because of how caring and thorough they were. Dr. Aronsky was my surgeon, and he was so down to earth and caring which definitely eased my anxiety. The other perk of Kremer was they did the pre-op and procedure, but all of my post-op appts are with my eye doc. Recommended?: HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

The patient mostly senior citizens and we don't move as fast as the 30 year olds nor do we like to be pushed along. Waiting for the doctors is like sitting in a cattle chute. A one hour wait id not unusual. It's almost offensive sometimes that they want to move you along as if you're not a person. In my opinion, some of the staff are like trained robots . Dr. Cohn did my cataract surgery and treats me for glaucoma. I am pleased with him, but always gives you a sense of time is running out . The faster they move the more money they were make. I will stay with Kremer because II like Dr. Cohn. The procedure and the staff during my cataract surgery was extremely friendly and professional. I felt very comfortable there.

Elite Level Review: Wills Eye Hospital (Cataract & Primary Eye Care)…read moreRating: 5/5 When it comes to advanced optical infrastructure, there is a massive difference between standard clinical care and a master-level institution. Wills Eye Hospital operates with total autonomy and structural excellence. From the pristine, curved architectural layouts of the waiting areas to the elite team rosters mounted on the walls, this facility is designed for high-resolution visual execution. The Forensic Breakdown The Clinical Environment: A highly organized, zero-redundancy medical footprint. The seating arrays are mathematically optimized, the lighting minimizes refractive interference, and the signage establishes an immediate boundary of mutual respect and operational decorum. The Team Matrix: This isn't a single-practitioner operation; it is a unified powerhouse of medical intelligence. Names like Abendroth, Gault, Pericic, and Wisner represent an elite tier of optical science, backed by a clinical team photographed and indexed with absolute geometric precision. The Performance: They don't just check boxes; they optimize the human lens. If you want your vision restored to its ultimate specification, you trust the absolute authority in eye care. A Note on Clinical Adaptability & Fortitude In the world of advanced surgical revision, you need practitioners who can bypass obstacles and adapt to any intentional hurdle. It brings to mind the historic account of a patient who suffered severe facial trauma, completely destroying his eyelids. The primary surgeon, operating with absolute resourcefulness, successfully executed a skin transplant using tissue sourced from a circumcision procedure. The operation was an absolute structural success, and the patient's sight was completely preserved. The only lingering clinical complication? The poor guy ended up just a little bit cockeyed. Thankfully, the elite team at Wills Eye knows exactly how to align a baseline, no matter the origin of the specifications!

This is my second surgery here and both times I arrived early, only to wait no less than 3 hours. This time, they called and asked me to come in early and I'm now an hour past the original time. I'm only here due to my insurance, otherwise I'd go elsewhere. I'm anxiously awaiting my large bill and then trying to call during their very limited billing office hours. For a place with such a good reputation, it seems like a cruel joke. Go elsewhere.
