I got my Lasik treatment several days ago. What a smooth experience it had been, and I'm very glad I finally pulled the trigger. My vision was 20/20 before I even got home! The whole process only took about an hour and a half with a mere 15 minutes for the actual procedure. The doc who performed the surgery was Dr Alecandrovich and he was as friendly as can be. Great dude. It was performed at the Paramus location with the pre and post-OP appointments at the Edison located reviewed here. I just had my consultation today and I am so excited that I am a candidate for Lasik! I was very nervous even for a consultation but everyone was SO friendly and made me feel at ease from the start. Let me start off with the fact that I was legally blind at -7.75 with astigmatism in both eyes! I heard of Lasik plus through a coworker and friend of mine who both had Lasik done with Dr. Damon Pettinelli. After years it torture with contacts and glasses and not being able to see 10 inches in front of me without them I bit the bullet and went for it. Sorry LasikPlus Team I take back my review and modified it to 5 Stars for the great support and service I was called by the head and was explained that they wanted to correct the issue and experience. I was given appointment today morning. I went again today morning. I am really amazed with the checks and outcomes of tests. I found that I am better off not going to Monovision since I already have 20/20 site for Far Distance with RIGHT and LEFT had just minimal issue so I just need over the counter lens to help reading. I am amazed that they gave such honest recommendations Keep it up guys. You won a life long customer family ! ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ As they say initial impression itself was not great My appointment was 8:20 am I checkin at 8;15 am Till 9:10 everyone else who comes after me are seen except me 1. If you set the appointment for 8:20 then why did 5 people who came after me get attended 2. I waited till 9:10 and then left since since I had a call at 10:00 and at the pace they were going we should surely meet the dr only at 10:00 I understand you have many customers but one unsatisfied customer should be ignored. I was called to ask if they want appointment next week I said no, they didn't even bother to ask why is there anything wrong I like places where customer service is good. read more

"My only regret is not doing this sooner." "I am so happy I did lasik." Those were the only two things people said when I asked them about their lasik experiences (specifically LasikPlus too). I only heard positive feedback about the offices and the procedure. I had my procedure and first post-op at the Paramus office (see review), but I had my free consultation at the Edison office. Though I don't blame them, they shared they were down one tech so the wait was quite long. The other thing that was a little odd was that they did strongly encourage a procedure sooner than later at a discount. Personally, I was 99% certain I wanted the procedure before I even arrived. I can see how some folks who may be on the fence might find this approach intimidating, however. The staff and doctor are all very friendly. They take the time to answer your questions, and you do not feel rushed. It has been a week since I got my procedure, and I will be returning to the Edison office next week for my second post-op. My vision is 20/20! I am so happy I did lasik, and yes, my only regret is not doing it sooner. Thank you LasikPlus! read more

Once again, I came for a scheduled appointment and am surprised by an additional charge that I was not previously informed of. It seems as if there is a charge for follow up of $84 to take a picture of my eye. I was not informed at the time and will strongly advise against any one using this office without requesting a thorough explanation of charges and procedures BEFORE they schedule any follow up. When I asked why I wasn't told about these charges when they were incurred, I was told it was my responsibility to know my insurance coverage. EVEN THOUGH I ASKED AT THE TIME I MADE FOLLOW UP APPOINTMENTS IF THEY WERE COVERED AND WAS TOLD THEY WERE I am still responsible for charges not known to me or authorized by me. They were helpful in addressing my questions. In the end I didn't do the surgery because of schedule conflict with the follow up appointments and I was told they were overpriced in comparison to others. read more

I feel like I should have written this review years ago being that I had my procedure done on Dec. 16 2009 but better late than never. The girls at Lasikplus were really nice, informative and extremely accommodating when preparing me for my procedure (Lasik on one eye, PRK on the other) The doctor was extremely comforting and confident which made me feel calm (as calm as you can be before getting your eyes zapped). The procedure in total took about 20 minutes or maybe even less. LasikPlus was very helpful with post treatment - they even accommodated my post-ops to be in their Miami location since I was moving away a week after my procedure. Overall, Lasik has changed my life and I dont have one negative thing to say about LasikPlus, I am forever grateful to them for being as kind and professional as they were :) read more

Staff at both the Edison and Paramus location are friendly and knowledgeable! Any questions comments or concerns you may have they've got all the answers. I went to multiple lasik center so see which one I would go with and LASIKPLUS was perfect. The offices are organized and clean. I went in for a consultation as I had been doing (went to 5 offices total) and they were very detailed as to how the process was before and after the surgery would be so there would be no surprises the day of and that same day I booked me appointment and it was by far the best decision I've ever made! read more

I thought lasik plus was suppose to be the best however let me tell you. I was trying to surprise my bf for his birthday. We live in Brooklyn so I made a Saturday appointment months in advance. They called me one week before the appointment saying they changed their hours and I have to reschedule. After trying to understand what happen i went ahead and booked another appointment for a different Satruday. Now they have decided to call me two weeks before my new appointment and tell me the time slot i have is not really an appointment and have to change it to another time that day. DO NOT GOT TO THIS PLACE. They are very unprofessional. What a joke. read more

I came to LasikPlus after 6 of my friends got their surgeries done here. I also had an issue with the appointments. That is definitely their weak point. One appt. they cancelled last minute on me and the 2nd appt. I showed up and the DR had called out. I was really angry and didn't go back till about 8 months later. I finally gave in and after that it was smooth sailing. Everyone is super friendly, the DR goes over the procedure in absolute detail. It was painless and quick. Their office has nicer staff than the Paramus office but could still use improvement. It would help if they had their hours posted or on their voice mail message so I would not have wasted time driving there twice. I have been trying for months to pick up contacts to test if I wanted lasik done in one eye (monovision) and the Paramus office never returns phone calls. I had to call the main LasikPlus number and spoke to Dr Shah before I got a return call from Edison. And when they told me to pick them up, they did not tell me they are only open Monday and Wednesdays. I feel my vision has been worsening waiting for these contacts. I would never recommend LasikPlus to a friend again. read more

I had my PRK surgery performed by Dr. Damon Pettinelli back in 2010. I had LASIK performed by another surgeon in 2001 and my vision needed to be enhanced.
