I had an excellent LASIK experience with LasikPlus, and I can honestly say I do not regret my decision one bit. From start to finish, the entire team made me feel informed, calm, and truly cared for. My surgeon, Dr. Julian Procope, was amazing--his calming disposition immediately put me at ease, and I felt completely confident in his care. The doctor who examined me initially, as well as my follow-up physician, Dr. Stoltz, were equally wonderful. Dr. Stoltz took extra time to walk me through my options, especially helping me decide between corrective vision and monovision. What stood out most was that he allowed me to experience what my vision would be like ahead of time, so I could make a truly informed decision without pressure. That level of patience and education meant everything. The office manager, Mrs. Parker, was also fantastic--she patiently went over all my paperwork, answered every question thoroughly, and made the administrative side feel seamless and stress-free. I got my LASIKs in April 2023. I don't regret my decision, I just dont like how LasikPlus handled my particular situation. My procedure was performed by Dr. Conte. I met her the day of the procedure. She wasn't rude but she surely wasn't friendly. During the procedure, I felt some pressure and slight lifting in my right eye. I figured it must be apart of the process and didn't think anything of it. 3-4 months post op, my right eye was still blurry. I went back for a visit in which I was told it's just dry eyes and to apply drops. That didn't help. I went to my eye doctor who put me on steroid eye drops and nothing. Still blurry. I go back again to LasikPlus and they refer me to a dry eye specialist. The dry eye specialist, informed me my right eye is slight dry nothing exciting. He explained dry eye typically occurs in both eyes not just one. He recommended, I follow back up with LASIK plus because I would benefit from an enhancement. I contacted LasikPlus with this information and informed there is a process. If they feel like you qualify, you'll get the enhancement and if they don't well you're SOL. If I would've known the process with LasikPlus would be like this, I would have gone somewhere else. read more

I got my Lasik done in 2013 with the understanding that i was purchasing a lifetime warranty, I did all the post surgery follow up visits that they say if you don't do it will VOID the warranty. 1 week, 1 month, 3 months and 6 months. But when i need to have Lasik again they tell you that you have to for to the eye doctor. I paid with the understanding that they were the eye doctor. They are looking for anyway out of doing a follow up Lasik surgery. I paid good money and it worked great for about 10 years, then the eyes started to go back to what they were before the surgery. If you decide to get the Lasik surgery don't pay the LIFETIME WARRANTY, they will find a way not to honor it. read more

I underwent Lasik surgery at LasikPlus location in Mt Laurel NJ, soon after the procedure I realized I was having issues with my left eye and notified both doctors who work at LasikPlus. Issues included myopia, starbursts, halos, mild pain, dryness and blurred vision in my left eye only. After multiple office visits over the course of 6 months I felt I was not receiving proper treatment. They recommended a 2nd LASIK procedure to try and clear up the issues I was experiencing but I was hesitant. Based on the information I was given and lack of a clear diagnosis I wanted to get a second opinion and made an appointment at Wills Eye in Philadelphia. During my first visit the Dr from Wills Eye diagnosed me with flap striae caused by the LASIK procedure. The procedure to fix this was a Lasik flap lift and sutures. While the flap lift procedure has been mostly a success, it subjected me to unnecessary pain and suffering and additional financial costs. Wills Eye also informed me that if LasikPlus diagnosed my issue properly and shortly after the original procedure, the surgery to repair my eye would have been drastically less invasive. Even more disconcerting, if I followed through with the recommendation from Lasik Plus and underwent a 2nd Lasik procedure it would have over corrected my vision causing additional eye damage. It is my opinion that LasikPlus was reckless in its actions, overbooking patients, reducing the quality of treatment provided and minimizing patient care which can increasing the probability of post-op issues. This practice should work on corrective actions so other patients are not adversely impacted and force to endure unneeded suffering or worse. read more

Everything about my LASIK experience at LasikPlus in Mount Laurel was excellent. No one asked me to write this review. I did a virtual consultation first with a very friendly staff member who answered all my questions. Then I did an in-person consultation and everyone who I met with there was extremely friendly, positive and helpful. I felt genuinely excited about correcting my -7 vision and the staff seemed excited for me too. The day of surgery I was a little nervous but mostly just looking forward to having good vision. The surgery was probably about 5 minutes altogether and it really was no big deal. I think people get worked up because the surgery is gruesome to watch on video but if you focus on your actual experience, which is painless, and just breathe, it's easy. I felt nothing leaving the office because the numbing drops hadn't worn off. By the time we got home, my eyes were starting to burn and tear and all I wanted to do was lay down and go to sleep. Because they were burning I couldn't fall asleep for about an hour but that feeling started to subside and I fell asleep for about 4 hours. When I woke up I felt much better and was seeing almost perfectly. My vision was a little hazy but clear. The day after one of them feels a little irritated like I have a dirty contact on but the haziness is already improving. It was very quick to make an appointment after my initial consultation. This place is a gold-mine. Day of surgery took about 2.5 hrs of waiting because they had about 30 people booked that day (wow!) but they warned me of a wait so that was expected. Surgery itself takes less than 10 minutes. The surgery is not pleasant. I repeat.. Not. Pleasant. especially if you're weird with eyes like I am. I recommend taking something to relax you. After surgery GO. TO. SLEEP. they equate the burning/tingling/tearing to cutting onions but for me it felt like there was glass in my eyes. It was horrible horrible pain. Anyone who tells you it's not is bionic. When you wake up 4-6 hrs later you will feel 99% better. The staff is very nice at both locations (I did my consult at KOP and surgery at ML). You don't see or meet Dr. Shah until right before you go in for surgery (which I still find strange) but he is nice. He talked me through the surgery and kept telling me I was doing great (even though I felt like I was definitely freaking out). This morning I came for my day after check-in (I drove myself) and I have 20/20 vision! (I wore -8.5 contacts and glasses since I was 10). I'm glad they do payment plans. Lasik surgery was something I considered for years, and this new year, this was the time. I appreciated how quickly the first free consultation was able to be scheduled and then choose the surgery date. I met with my regular eye doctor and confirmed "Dr. Shah is amazing" and I will say my experience probably couldn't have been any better. The surgery itself... is surgery.. on your eyeballs. Expect discomfort and being disoriented but the staff is upbeat and professional. Dr. Shah answered my last minute questions before stepping into the surgery room, despite the tight schedule (day of surgery expect a crowded waiting room). Afterwards, once the numbing drops wear off, the burning and tears can be intense. Definitely need ride afterwards. When I got home, I slept for about 7 hours. When I woke up, almost all pain was gone and my vision was great. It's ... something you have to see to believe. (Get it?) Mt Laurel location. Really nice staff and they answered many questions and concerns before I decided to get the procedure done. Had Lasik done a little over a month ago and I am experiencing some complications like Starbursts and Ghosting at night. When you call the "office" your call is sent to some central location where they have people reading off a script to answer any of your post procedure questions. Not a doctor, not a nurse. If "they" feel like they addressed your concerns they don't have your issue sent to your local office. And if you request a call back from a doctor they tell you it can take up to 72 hours for "someone" to get back to you. Had i known this I would have gone to a private physician where you get more personalized care. read more

If you want to get your vision corrected, go here. The thought of getting lasers shot at your eyes and mixing the word surgery in there is a great way to make one very nervous. However, the staff at LasikPlus was awesome. Everyone was friendly and comforting and they give you all the information you'll need or want and answer questions that you haven't even thought of yet. Dr. Conti performed my Lasik surgery. My eyes are permanently damaged without the ability to wear a contact lens to correct back to 20/20 vision. I have difficulty driving at dusk and night. I have had to begin a long journey to repair this damage the best that we can surgically. I believe this doctor worked outside of her scope of practice. When there was an issue, I feel she should have sent me to the eye hospital to have my eyes accessed and corrected. She admitted that she had not seen my issue in her many years of care, but continued to recommend that she attempt another procedure. I also felt she was guessing how to fix my issue rather than exploring the literature and using consultation with other physicians to make a plausible and low-risk plan for my care. read more

My appointment was for 10 I wasn't seen until about 1030. They were very friendly but I can't stand it when I Am there on time, actually early, and they don't take you at your appointment time, but if shoes on the other foot and you are late you have to reschedule. After they did the measurements they brought me into the room and told me they had to get a hold of the doctor. 10 minutes go by and the girl comes back and says I can't get a hold of the doctor he's still in surgery. He'll call you Thursday to go over it with you. That's not very professional to me. I'm here at my connivence not the doctors. The price is about the same as anywhere. No special pricing to make it have to be the place to go. They wanted me to just sign up and get financing started when I hadn't even seen a doctor and the girl even stated they aren't even sure if laser eye surgery is best for me because the doctor hasn't reviewed it. I don't usually ever give a bad rating and 3 isn't so bad. The staff was very friendly . The office was clean. But professionalism is very important to me too. This place has really gone downhill. I called about a month ago to get a touch up done to my eyes for lasik surgery I got years ago. When I first called they needed p/w faxed to them which I quickly did. I then spoke to someone who told me that I had to wait a month before the Dr. would speak to me. I call back after a month and they tell that someone would get back to me by 5pm, when I call at 530pm I was told that the Dr. left for the day. When I initially got lasik surgery years ago and paid roughly 4000 dollars they were so accommodating, but now that I have to use my lifetime warranty I'm being treated like I'm a bother. This is what these companies do. They are happy to take your money in the beginning, but as soon as you have a problem, they give you the runaround. Its always nerve racking to even think about leaving your eyes open and having lasers shoot at them but from the moment I walked in the girls upfront made me feel welcome and shared to me their experience with the surgery. When Dr. Harris was exceptional, it was like any other visit to the optemetrist. She explained to me the whole procedure step by step, how the follow ups work and the only thing that I may not like is the eyedrops(antiobiotics) that I will be taking. (She was right, i hated them!). Dr. Shah was amazing, the procedure was done in under 10min although i wish he would have talked me through it all more since i was blind and clueless moving from one machine to the other. I got my PRK done last year. Since my job is 100% working on computer, I specifically asked them, how long will it take before I can work, so that I can plan accordingly. They said it can take from 1 week to 4 weeks but you should be able to work on the computer with in a week or so. Well, it took me almost 2 months before I could actually work on computer for an hour straight. I barely survived to keep my job. Though, I accepted that, convincing myself, these are all marketing strategies. Anyway, I was always regular with my follow ups. 1 month, 2 month, 3 month, 6 month. Every time I came, I asked my vision is not stabilized yet, how much long will it take? 1st follow up visit, they said it can take upto 3-4 months. 2nd visit they told me it can take 6 months for some people. At 6 month's follow up, they said in some case it can take upto an year. Again, I convinced myself I am 90% fine, I can be patient for 6 more months. So I Patiently waited for one year to complete. After 13 months (my vision is still not stabilized completely), in fact it started to go worse, so I called them to follow up, and here goes the interesting thing, the receptionist said: AFTER AN YEAR WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR IT (they told on day one we will take lifetime care). SO I asked what you mean? She said, you need to go to an Ophthalmologist and get a note that this is because of the surgery.. WHATTT ??? I mean are you kidding me? It's not like I said I am perfectly fine and then something happened to my eye. Every visit I have complained about the vision stability. Since I know if I go to any Ophthalmologist, I simply have to pay them money and it will waste of time too. So when she did not agree to give me an appointment, I asked her, if you can not give a free consultation, I am willing to pay you the consultation fee, and if this is surgery related issue you guys can fix it, if not, you can charge me. SHE DID NOT LET ME HAVE THE APPOINTMENT WITH THE DOCTOR. I am now taking treatment from some another doctor. I mean is it even LEGAL for a doctor to deny a patient for a follow up after a surgery? I am OK with all other things they did on the name of marketing, but this last stunt they pulled, made me beyond mad. I would NEVER recommend them. read more

Very professional place! The procedure was done in less than 10 minutes. I could see better than 20/20 the very next day when I went for my post op visit. It's a little scary even though they explain it to you. You can never really prepare for something like this but they try to make you as comfortable as possible. It was virtually painless. You can ask for extra numbing eye drops if you want. It is VERY uncomfortable but does not hurt. Make sure you bring very dark sunglasses cause the sun will burn your eyes. My eyes felt like a ton of eyelashes were in my eyes and they were watering like crazy! After waking up from the nap they tell you to take my eyes felt much better! I drove to WaWa later that night with NO GLASSES ON!! It was wonderful. I would definitely do it all over again! It was worth well worth it!! read more

I went here for a free consultation. The staff was very friendly and great durning my consultation. However, the one thing that I didn't like was that after my consultation was done, they wanted me to schedule my surgery immediately. I explained how I wanted more time to think it over because it was a big decision and I was nervous about it . They kept pushing it and insisting I schedule it. They said I could reschedule it if I wasn't ready. I didn't feel valued as a potential patient; I felt like a money sign. I ended up going to another place to get my LASIK done because after my consultation at that place, they respected the fact that I needed more time to think about it and didn't push me into scheduling a surgery date. read more

I got serious about getting Lasik done because I noticed that although I wear glasses, I was having extreme difficulty driving at night. Also, I do not like wearing my glasses continuously--I only use them when driving and watching TV. I had been wearing contact lenses since I was 14; I am now 34 and I just find them to be uncomfortable and too much of a hassle. To sum it all up, my poor vision is interfering with my quality of life. I had my appointment on January 4, 2016 and the staff was extremely kind, accommodating and answered all of my questions. At that point, they determined I was a candidate for Lasik and that I had a choice of two plans. The first was $2,600 for the procedure with touch ups if necessary for two years. The second was $3,800 for the procedure and lifetime touch ups if necessary. After the examination, the next step in the process is to figure out financing if necessary and to schedule a date. My procedure is scheduled for March 10; I could have had it done sooner but I wanted time to really ponder my choice in having it done. So far, I plan to have the procedure done as scheduled. Another reviewer mentioned that they felt pressured to schedule a date and, as a result, they gave low reviews. Of course, no one wants to be pressured into a medical, surgical procedure. However, if you go in to have the full evaluation done, which is very in depth and time consuming, I get why they want to schedule you. You don't simply have the procedure explained to you. They interview you, they educate you, make you watch a video, take numerous measurements of your eye, test your vision, dilate your pupils, go over financing etc. So don't schedule this if you aren't sure or are not serious about the procedure. I do not think it is fair for that person to have given such a low review because "they felt pressured". After all, it is an incredible amount of time they spend with you and the least you could do is schedule something a few months out in case you get cold feet. Now that I think about it; I am contemplating rescheduling my surgery for a time sooner. Once I have the surgery, I will update the review. Btw, my husband had this procedure done in 2009 at Lasikplus with Dr. Shah (at the King of Prussia location) and he has almost x ray vision! ;) No seriously, his vision is remarkable--he has 20/10 vision. read more

My experience with them has been fantastic. Very professional and courteous staff. I went from near sighted in my dominant right eye to 20/15 vision. And the discount for military/first responders definitely helped on the financial side.
