Rice House has become the chinese place we keep coming back to, and I am pretty sure they must know us by now lol. Everyone here is always so kind and welcoming. That alone makes such a difference when you are deciding where you want to spend your money again and again. The cashew chicken is pretty much perfect for me. I also really appreciate how flexible they have been with customizing my dish and swapping in vegetables that I am actually able to eat. Dietary restrictions can make ordering out complicated, so having a restaurant that is willing to work with you without making it feel like a huge inconvenience means a LOT to me. I also love that they use all white meat chicken. That is one of my favorite little things they do and honestly makes the dishes even better for me. Their General Tso's definitely has some heat to it, but in a really good way. If you like General Tso's and actually want some spice with it, I think you will be very happy here. Crab rangoons are SOOOO good here too. They are always hot, crispy, and one of those things I absolutely have to order every time now. We have tried quite a bit here at this point and it has all been really good. The soups, egg rolls, fried rice, and chicken lo mein have all been great. Nothing bad at all so far. Their lunch special is also such a good deal and genuinely affordable, which I really appreciate right now. You can get a solid amount of food without feeling like you spent a fortune. One small thing to know before you go is that the entrance can be a little confusing. There is what looks like an entry point before the actual entrance, but it is blocked off. Do not turn there. It can be surprisingly misleading at night or even when the sun is really bright, so just keep going until you reach the actual entrance. Between the food, the prices, the flexibility, and how genuinely nice everyone is, Rice House has easily become our regular spot. read more

I've driven by this place for years and have always thought, what a terrible name and an ugly building. To be fair, the entire shopping center has ugly signage, a granny apple green background with white block lettering. It was my daughter's birthday and she wanted sushi. I did a quick Google search and this was the closest place to where we were at at the time. She said, eww no thanks. She had driven by it dozens of times as well. I said let's give it a try and so thankful that we did. The staff was super attentive, and we were surprised by the quality of sushi and attention that the chefs put into the plate.
