Great crab ragoon the ribs well... don't open in your car .period. as a side bone piece of meat I would say not to buy nothing savory or Sweet about it..the chicken wings are regular chicken... nothing special here just regular Chinese food I won't return ...I made a poor decision... again

Visited this place Friday evening and was automatically greeted. The atmosphere was welcoming and she was very attentive the entire time. We ordered a large egg drop soup and two dinners off of the combination dinner menu. I ordered the combination lo mein and it was delicious--could've had more shrimp, but tasted so good. The fried rice was delicious as well. I loved the meal here and definitely recommend--if you're nearby, give it a try!

Sweet and sour chicken. (There was more in the container than pictured. The kids had already eaten half lol.)

So I've lived in Shawnee for 6 years, always go to the Target right by here and somehow just discovered this Chinese place. My husband and I have been on the hunt for a good chinese restaurant by our house but haven't found one that has ever been worth ordering from again. Well this one made the cut! We ordered through Doordash so it was nice to be able to have such a great first time experience without even having to walk through the door! The food was fresh and hot when it came to us. The portion sizes are awesome for the price point. Everything we tried was great. We ordered chicken dishes like sweet and sour chicken and general tsos. My husband said the chicken tasted really good and fresh. The egg drop soup was good and the little wontons weren't stale (a problem we've had with other places in our area.) I do wish there were more veggies in the lo mein but I'll ask for that next time. The crab ragoons were tasty....a little on the sweet side, but not as sweet as some other places we've tried in the past. Overall, we will be ordering from them again! We're very glad we finally found a place that we don't have to drive out of the way for!

We are new to the area and ordered several dishes from here. They were all good. I like the doughy dumplings and that's the kind they make here, so I was happy about that. We all liked the Kung Pao chicken the best. I had the Szechuan chicken and like SUPER spicy food. It tasted mild to me, so if you don't like spicy food you can still order this, but if you like it really spicy just let them know.

Changed their fried dumpling recipe. They use to be so big and tasty. Now they are smaller, not as flavorful, and more expensive.

Lucky Wok probably does more of their overall business with online ordering and takeout than they do for dine-in. It's easy to order online: just bring up the website, make your selections, check out & pay. And don't forget to tip! Pickup is just as simple, just let the host know that you're there for carry out and your hot food comes out. If there is any knock, then it might be that the turnaround time from order to food is not always as promised. But the quality of the food is wonderful, so I can let a few minutes go here & there. And the prices are really good, especially when you see how much food you get! An order of General Tso's chicken with a side of rice runs me $14+ and I'm not kidding when I say that is easily two meals for me and usually three. Many of the dinner specials come with a side, and the egg rolls and spring rolls are excellent. My wife is a big fan of their wonton soup, a hot, nourishing homemade broth that cures what ails ya. Great food, great location (especially for me), and great value. Definitely worth a try.

Their menu consists of a lot of dishes, and some are quite unique .. you don't usually see items like bird's nest dishes at most Chinese restaurants around here except for maybe Bolings. Me and my husband visited on a Saturday night around 8 pm and really devoured our meal. The menu can feel a bit overwhelming at first, but you honestly can't go wrong with stir fries at any Chinese restaurant. For appetizers, we ordered chicken egg rolls, which were hefty and filling. For the main course, I ordered the chicken in black bean stir fry, and my husband got the shrimp Kung Pao chicken stir fry. We paired both with steamed rice. The black bean chicken was rich and earthy, with that deep, slightly funky flavor from the fermented black beans. It was very umami, salty and complimented nicely with the fresh, crisp vegetables and well-cooked chicken. I really liked it. The shrimp Kung Pao was spicy and tangy, with perfectly cooked shrimp (the fried shrimp covering was chefs kiss) and crispy veggies. Overall, we really enjoyed the food. The egg rolls were about $4 for two pieces, and the stir fries were around $17+ each. The portions are quite large compared to other places in the area, so the pricing seemed reasonable. For 2 main course dishes your bill could easily reach up to $40. Otherwise, The restaurant was clean, the staff was kind, and service was quick. It also wasn't too crowded when we visited. I would rate the service 4/5, mainly because we had to ask for silverware, condiments, and tissues separately. The food, though, is definitely a 5/5. Highly recommended! I will definitely return to have more dishes like beef chow fun, the soups and last, but not least BIRDS NEST!!
