My family has been going to Chen's since I was a kid, we absolutely love this place. Best crab rangoons around if you like em on the sweeter side. My go to is the sweet and sour chicken. Can't go wrong with any mei fun. Big portions if you get the family size. Just re-did the inside and added more tables and bench. Love the people as well. 10/10

Good carry out location for very solid Chinese food in the area. Lots of traditional favorites like beef and broccoli, colrab rangoon, egg rolls, spring rolls, orange chicken, kung pao chicken, different types of fried rice, and good soups. Every time I order, my food is ready on time, and they are super nice. If you want one, they even will sell you a t-shirt!

My chicken with mixed vegetables lunch (reasonably priced at $6.35) included choice of one side item. It was served eight minutes after I placed my order behind a line of tables arranged (during COVID) about 10 feet from the counter, where the service was just accommodative. The portion sizes were good, and everything was perfectly cooked, with a fair amount of white chicken, a good variety of veggies, an okay brown sauce, and a tasty egg roll, while the fried rice was flavorful, but somewhat dry. Overall, A-OK.

On my never-ending quest to eat Chinese Food from every location possible, I happened upon Chen's one night when I was trying to find a place I haven't eaten at before. They were pretty busy for late in the evening. I was excited to see some things on their menu that were a little out of the ordinary. I had sesame shrimp. It was good, but over sauced. The fried rice was not very good at all. The crab rangoon seemed fresh and handmade, but a little sweet. I'll go back, but I'll order differently next time.

Their menu consists of a lot of dishes, and some are quite unique .. you don't usually see items like bird's nest dishes at most Chinese restaurants around here except for maybe Bolings. Me and my husband visited on a Saturday night around 8 pm and really devoured our meal. The menu can feel a bit overwhelming at first, but you honestly can't go wrong with stir fries at any Chinese restaurant. For appetizers, we ordered chicken egg rolls, which were hefty and filling. For the main course, I ordered the chicken in black bean stir fry, and my husband got the shrimp Kung Pao chicken stir fry. We paired both with steamed rice. The black bean chicken was rich and earthy, with that deep, slightly funky flavor from the fermented black beans. It was very umami, salty and complimented nicely with the fresh, crisp vegetables and well-cooked chicken. I really liked it. The shrimp Kung Pao was spicy and tangy, with perfectly cooked shrimp (the fried shrimp covering was chefs kiss) and crispy veggies. Overall, we really enjoyed the food. The egg rolls were about $4 for two pieces, and the stir fries were around $17+ each. The portions are quite large compared to other places in the area, so the pricing seemed reasonable. For 2 main course dishes your bill could easily reach up to $40. Otherwise, The restaurant was clean, the staff was kind, and service was quick. It also wasn't too crowded when we visited. I would rate the service 4/5, mainly because we had to ask for silverware, condiments, and tissues separately. The food, though, is definitely a 5/5. Highly recommended! I will definitely return to have more dishes like beef chow fun, the soups and last, but not least BIRDS NEST!!

The teriyaki chicken is my personal favorite - so much rich, savory flavor, and I love that it's paired simply with fresh green beans. It's the perfect complementary combo. Their fried rice? Delicious even on its own - full of flavor without needing anything added. The crab Rangoon are hands-down my favorite in the city: perfectly crisp, proportioned, creamy, and addictively good. The egg rolls knocked our socks off, and the General Tso's chicken was incredible - fresh, tender meat with a depth of flavor you can actually taste. And whatever you do, get the Chinese donuts. Hot, fresh, and I'm not kidding - better than DD. They gave me so many that we couldn't even finish them, and they still tasted amazing two days later. My regular place now!
