Day of the move the team was late and I didn't receive communication. It also took 10 hours to move a 3 bedroom 2200 sq house to a 1600 sq foot townhome and we had to leave a number of items in the original home that I had to go back to retrieve on my own. I asked for patio furniture and a grill to be added day of (1 table, 6 stackable chairs, 2 wicker chairs with ottoman's) and am unsure if this contributed to the increased time of the move (the estimate I was given was for 7 hours). I was told dismantling the beds could be easily handled by the team, I mentioned I could handle them but didn't get to it in time so they dismantled them but then the screws were lost to one bed and they refused to put the other two children's beds together (citing liability which I was not informed of). I was left with multiple broken items (the leg and attachment of my dresser completely broke off, both my children's dresser legs were broken, there was a hefty chip on a buffet table, a plastic storage bin was broken, and my suede ottoman was covered in water after being placed near patio furniture. Freshly painted walls are now scuffed and several doorframes have dents/dings following completion of the move. It has been several weeks- I contacted the owner with photos of my broken items and was immediately told he would be happy to fix/replace things and asked for item numbers which I provided. Since then- nothing has been done and I assume nothing by will be done.

That was a big mistake. This time I went right to Doyle. You get what you pay for, my friends. Ryan, the owner, was very responsive and we made an appointment to do a video walk-through of our condo. We did the walk-through, he asked a lot of questions and then he promptly sent an estimate. We have a lot of things so it took five guys and two trucks. The crew leader contacted me the day before to confirm the details and they showed up promptly the day of. They were incredibly friendly, fun, and energetic the entire time. And very polite. They treated all of our things very well and didn't have a problem moving any of the weird odds and ends we couldn't find a way to pack. When we arrived they put everything in the new house where we wanted it and even though we could tell they were suffering from the extreme heat and the weight and amount of our things, they never lagged or complained. They put the beds back together quickly and correctly as well as the dining room table. I'd be in hospital if I had to move all my stuff. At the end, the crew leader went over the paperwork, explained all the final charges line-by-line, and took payment. Very professional. We could not be happier. They were a great crew of guys. Ryan has a great company and I couldn't recommend them more.

The email I received stated between 8-10a. The movers arrived at 1010a. Not too bad, but no heads up and I called twice that morning to ask where they were after sitting around. The owner explained at 815a that they were fueling up and would be there in an hour. They were not. The estimate was scheduled for 7 hours. Was told I could save time if I packed up my stuff. So I not only packed up my stuff and put it all in the front room but moved stuff prior to their arrival to make it easy. Also I was charged for four movers. No big deal, but more on that. Movers arrived, two guys hopped out and it was obvious they've done this before. Movers! A little late but all good. The the 'other two' guys hopped out the truck... One guy looked like he didn't know what he got himself into and could barely lift my furniture, a few times I caught him dragging my couch on the ground and at one point the two 'other guys' were carrying my TV upside down holding it by the stand. The experienced mover did correct them after I stopped them and flipped my own TV rightside up. Lastly the one item I asked them to pack was approximately 32 glass cups. At the end of the day, they did not. I ended up packing them myself. Why? Because they took 5+ hours to move 2 beds, 2 couches, 3 dressers and boxes that were all placed in the front room. Dumbfounded. So they left my house with the truck packed with all the stuff around 315p. I'm moving less than 10mins up the street, I'll put my addys here and you could google map it if 'somebody' wants to post under my review and refute it. I'd be glad to. 45 minutes later... 45 minutes later.. after I called their office and then called the owner, the truck shows up. That's another hour I paid for mind you. Guess what I was told when I asked where they were? You guessed it, 'they had to go get fuel' again. Yeah okay. The owner did promptly give his guy a call to see what was going on. Magically with that extra prompt, they unloaded the truck in just about an hour, carrying up steps, rebuilding furniture and stacking boxes... hmmm. They were able to hit right on the 7 hour mark that I was quoted. No more and no less even after I moved a lot of stuff myself. Oh and the 'other two' guys... at one point I caught the weak one taking a long time putting down a scale and a bathroom wastebasket that weighed 10oz. He was visibly exhausted from physical Labor. I told him to get up and get out. Another time I saw the foreman unloading the truck and hand two small table lamps to the 'other guys' and they each took one lamp. One guy didn't grab two, they each grabbed one. Their time was split either doing nonsense like that or looking at their phones or standing around not knowing what to do. All in all, the two movers did a lot of heavy work. I work for an apparel company and hooked them up with a bunch of stuff. Also tipped them all out at the end of the trip. I'm not saying don't use this company. Just expect they're going to show up in an enterprise rental truck, with help off the street who obviously never moved a house and they will look to end at the exact time their boss told them to regardless of how much stuff there is in the house. They work to the hour for their check and it was obvious as they hit right on the 7 hour mark precisely. Good luck in your move and yo... don't make me post the pictures of the guys walking with my television upside down or moving one lamp or standing around on their phones or the time gap in my call log between them 'refueling' for 45 minutes. Because I will.

The fuel/transport fee was above average especially given the move location was only a 2 miles distance. They added an extra mover the day off bc we have stairs. Though that was their decision, we were charged above the quoted rate for the additional person. I paid cash, which gave us a 10% discount but with all the extra fees, the 10% isn't much of a savings. I still tipped and nothing was broken or damaged during the move. They also arrived on time and helped taped boxes that needed additional reinforcement. Boxes were placed on the appropriate rooms based on the labels.
