My experience started last summer when Milton cam to my home to give me an estimate to pack and move all our belongings. He was professional, told me what items they were allowed to move and which items they could not, and gave me tips for things we could do ourselves to save money! After interviewing and meeting with 4 companies, we decided to go with Advance Relocation Systems. Unfortunately, the contract on our home fell through last summer, but Milton stayed in contact with me. When we finally were ready to move, MIlton updated our quote (as we had eliminated some items from our move), and scheduled our move dates. My next contact was with Deb B who helped to coordinate specialized professionals to prepare and move certain pieces of furniture, and scheduled our moving crew. Deb was on top of everything, and called me ahead of time with details of who would be on our moving crew, and when I could expect them to arrive. My experience thus far had been great, but the team of movers we had the pleasure to work with was simply amazing!! Mark K led a team consisting of himself, Jerry, Tony, Jason, and Bones. Not only was this crew friendly and efficient, but they went out of their way to ensure we were informed every step of the way. When they were unsure of something, they asked questions. Everything was packed carefully and thoughtfully. They were beyond professional, courteous, incredible packers and movers, and simply wonderful people. Even when I asked them to move certain pieces of furniture up and down the steps multiple times, they did so willingly and with a smile. They are incredibly hard workers who get the job done! The entire team at Advance Relocation Systems out of Baltimore did an extremely good job with my move. I had a house filled with antiques as well as a 6'2" grand piano and I was extremely nervous about the move. Bryan Malone did the estimate for me and when moving day came, he personally came back to the house to supervise the packing and loading of my piano---way above the call of duty. The men who loaded did so with extreme care and were real worker bees. The first day of loading, they didn't even take a lunch break but worked straight through! Debbie coordinated everything right down to the minute. She called me several times to make sure everything was going well, followed up with phone calls and emails after the move. Mark Knott, who worked at the Baltimore house doing the box inventory as things were loaded was also the driver who brought the truck to St Louis. He is THE BEST and he, too, kept in touch with me during the drive out, reminded me to get the street parking permit, and arrived exactly when he said they would be here. After driving for 8 or 9 hours, he and his assistant from Baltimore immediately began unloading and didn't stop for the entire time it took to off load my move...which was TEN HOURS. My daughter and I bought a St Louis BBQ lunch for the guys and they barely stopped to eat. This was my 11th MAJOR move of my lifetime and I can state it was by far the best one. I have found NO breakage as I unpack. The piano? Mark reassembled it and it came through with flying colors, along with everything else in this very successful move. Awesome team; stress-free move; outstanding driver. They all get 6 stars. We moved from MD to CA (Baltimore to San Francisco) in peak season. We worked with Milton and Deb-b. Our driver was Bill Wagner. The entire team was amazing. We got rid of a lot of stuff prior to move so final invoice came in lower than estimated. The onsite team and the offloading crew were pleasant and worked very hard. We moved a 4 BR home with a full attic and basement. All our antique furniture arrived intact. Bill is an amazing driver and saved us $1500 in shuttle fees by fitting a 20-wheeler in a tight San Fran street. The whole experience was pleasant. Would RECOMMEND them STRONGLY for any move but particularly for long distance ones like this one. I recommended them to a colleague for an intra-city Baltimore move and she was extremely pleased as well. Great communication all through the process and Milton even stopped by during our packing. Top Notch Moving Company - I was truly impressed with the entire process! Deb did a great job of setting up my move and was on target with my moving cost estimate. I have a custom made cranberry color, top of the line, leather sofa that I was extremely concerned about being damaged. I was afraid my high-end leather sofa may be punctured or get wet if it happened to be raining on my moving day. No worries though, Mark wrapped my leather sofa completely before he and Dave took it to the truck. Mark, Dave and another helper were awesome! All of my furniture got the "white glove" treatment. Ann called after the move was completed to be sure that everything was satisfactory. Overall, terrific customer service! Everyone was very friendly and extremely professional. Nothing but great things to say regarding our move this week with Advance Relocation Systems. The crew was prompt, skilled, fun to work with and respectful. It had rained heavily the night before, and this was a concern as the whole house was freshly painted with new carpeting. The men laid down multiple rug runners and were careful movers. Nothing was damaged. There was a large wardrobe that would not fit up the stairs. We were going to let it go as it was not a valuable piece, but the men suggested taking it apart. They had a great attitude, worked with the piece and got it up. We also had two additional pick ups on our move, one that included an upright piano. Everything went smoothly. I moved at the busiest time of year, so scheduling was tough, given the closing on my house kept changing. The crew assigned to me was courteous, efficient and clean. Deb B. I was under a lot of stress trying to move from Maryland to Seattle. It was my luck that I called this company and Deb was the rep who assisted me. On very short notice, she coordinated my relocation with the company in Washington to ensure that my home goods would be delivered to the new home before my arrival. Hence, I did not have to stay in a hotel while waiting for my furniture. Additionally, she took extra trouble to locate a delivery company that did not charge me an extra $300 for parking fee. Deb rendered her service with a heart and did so much to minimize my stress and out of pocket expenses! I will always be grateful to her! Went through ARS who (unlike other shippers I contacted) could actually ship my things from Washington DC to Hawaii.
