Finally got to try this small new Chinese restaurant. Had the drunken noodles with shrimp. Sides of fried tofu and garlic green beans. Large portions, the food was delicious and the service was second to none. Would certainly come back again and try some of their many other dishes on the menu. Smallish in size, but they handle it well.

Really disappointed that I spent $28 on this meal. I ordered my steak rare to medium rare, but it came out completely well done and overcooked. I wanted to try something different today, but unfortunately it was a letdown.

This spot blew away my expectations! Hands down best Thai restaurant in Fresno. We came here on a Saturday afternoon for lunch with a reservation for a group of us for my mom's birthday. We had a toddler with us and they provided a high chair. The staff were so friendly and attentive and gave us their recs. We went with the chili garlic edamame and papaya salad to start with. Both are pretty spicy and pack a decent kick even at mild spice so be prepared. Both were excellent. For the entrees we ordered the Thai fried rice, ground chicken basil stir fried with fried egg, and panang curry with chicken, and chicken pad Thai. White rice included. The ground chicken was a Thai dish I haven't tried before and with the fried egg this thing was delicious and so fragrantly aromatic that I had to have more. The panang curry was a bit on the sweeter side but still wonderfully coconutty and tasty. The fried rice was pretty standard and the pad Thai was also on the sweeter side but still really tasty. Even family style between 6 adults 4 entrees and 2 apps was a good portion of food with some leftovers. Overall - highlight is get the ground chicken basil stir fried egg chef's special. Portions are stellar and prices are solid. Highly recommend and definitely will come back next time I'm in Fresno! Wish I took more photos of the food but I was busy scarfing food down.

Food is 5 out of 5. (Yes, for once I'm jumping right in, so just shut it, okay!?!) We picked up the CRYING TIGER for $23.50. As stated on their menu: Juicy marinated beef steak grilled to perfection. Served with a side of sticky rice, spicy dipping sauce and mango salad. Ours was to perfection as they stated, went wonderfully with the sticky rice, and the flavor was taken to another extraordinary place when dipping. Best thing (to me) about the sauce was that it was NOT fishy at all! The mango salad was very good, my only complaint is the high barrier to entry with this price. Beyond that, we were seated immediately, the service was good and consistent, and the guest noise can be moderate to loud. Seating WILL get limited so be prepared for that. They have a clean restroom, a major plus in this kind of strip mall. I give this a 4.6 out of 5. Will revisit to try their other items and provide a more robust review.

Stumbled upon this restaurant for lunch after a walk at the park. The order: papaya salad in Thai style which was refreshing! Just what I wanted, something with crunch and acidity. I really recommend this dish here. We also got the Crying Tiger that came with the sliced steak that was tender and not chewy, side of thinly sliced mango that paired so nicely with the dish and added an element of sweetness, and finally a dipping sauce on the side as well. Lastly, we go a stir fry basil beef dish that had a nice aroma of basil in it, lathered in sauce, and I liked the bamboo in the dish as well. Beef was cooked nicely and not tough, my kids loved it. Our waitress was very attentive and checked on us. She was great! The restaurant was low/moderate in noise, clean and tidy, decor is minimal and highlights the culture of Thai style food. Restroom is clean for guest to use. Overall, food was amazing! Will be coming back for sure.

A quaint little neighborhood place that opened up six months ago. Clean and nice decor. Food was fresh and on the lighter side. If you're looking for mild flavor on a healthier side then this is your place. If you're are looking for authentic Thai flavors that have your tastebuds dancing, this is not it. I wanted it to be the smoky pungent flavors of authentic Thai cuisine but this falls short. Still a cute place and great service.

Decided to try this restaurant out after seeing all the good reviews. Service was amazing and the waitress was very attentive and friendly! She kept refilling our water for us even though she gave us a pitcher of water to refill ourselves. Food was delicious and everything came out fresh and hot. The crab Rangoon was amazing and so was the chili garlic edamame. Portions are huge so expect to have leftovers! I will definitely come back to try other items

Papaya salad, my absolute favorite! So extremely fresh and you can taste all the different flavors. Very bright and refreshing.

The food was great. It's a casual environment but nice. Service was nice. I ordered a few dishes but my dining mates were so hungry I was only able to get a picture of 2 of the dishes. Lots of flavor and very fresh. We ordered chili garlic edamame, fresh shrimp roll, Pad Thai, and a papaya salad. Definitely will be returning.

We decided to drop by for lunch around 12pm on a Wednesday. We got seated right away since only one other party was there. The inside was pretty small but very cute. They did well with the space they had. About 20 minutes later the place got packed with guests and take out orders so I'd say arriving right at noon helped beat the traffic. Their menu was full of great options, I had a hard time deciding. We ended up getting the spicy edamame, shrimp spring rolls, pad kra pao, and chicken laab. I really wish they would've gave us a little warning here because this was entirely too much food for my husband and I. Their portions are huge for their entrees, but also helps justify the price a bit because this lunch did cost us about $65-70. Anyway, here is a quick rating on our dishes: Spicy edamame 10/10 - my husband he thought this was delicious but it was not spicy at all. Shrimp spring rolls 9/10 - it was tasty and fresh. Just a bit on the pricy side to me. I believe it's almost $14 for two spring rolls. Pad kra pao 10/10 - my husband also loved this but thought the same thing as his edamame. Great taste but it was not spicy at all even though that's what he specified. Chicken laab 8.5/10 - I really enjoyed this dish because it's SOUR. If you're not a fan of sour this won't be the dish for you. I asked for this medium spice but again it was almost non-existent. If I could change anything, I'd put a lot more toasted rice powder in and keep the lettuce separated from the dish. Their laab is pretty liquidy so lettuce got soggy faster. Overall, we will be back. The service was great and the food had nice flavors. The only thing I'd change here is their spice levels!

Tried for the first time this past week and I'm excited to plan my next visit. So. Dang. Good. A girlfriend and I decided to meet up after not seeing each other in a while and we both LOVE Thai food and decided to give them a try. We saw a few social media videos and so we were very excited. The restaurant was so cute and has about 8-10 table set ups. Interior was lovely and lighting was perfect. We sat at the window with a cushioned bench and it was perfect. There was about two servers and they were really sweet. We arrived around 4pm and they had a rush around 5pm with two larger parties for a special reservation. Before we knew it, it was packed and poppin. We ordered; Lao style papaya salad - 10/10 Drunken noodle w/ shrimp - 9/10 Yellow curry w/ shrimp - 9/10 Side of rice Hot tea pot Menu is large so I'll be back to try more yummy dishes and that papaya salad!

Ok this place is a yes!! I was not super excited when they first opened cause the last place was my favorite Vietnamese restaurant and I was so sad to see it go. Then I started to see some of the reviews and photos and know I needed to try it out. I was bummer when we went they were out of the meat for the crying tiger . Yet was pleasantly surprised by what we did get.. Fresh roll with shrimp $13.95- 4/5, I loved the freshness of the roll with all the veggies but I was missing not having a bit of noodles in the roll like you normally get . Also it would be amazing if they add a more fish sauce/ vinegar base dipping sauce and maybe mix the two sauces the do serve with it together and would definitely put this up there with one of my favorite spring rolls Drunken noodles w/ chicken $15.95- 4/5, this was yum and I would get again Beef salad $18.50- 5/5 this was amazing!!! I used the sauce that was left over to but on the drunken noodles lol. The beef was cooked just right and not tough. The veggies were fresh and that sauce!! Definitely going to get again. The restaurant itself is small but they have really done a nice job of redoing the interior and making it inviting. The staff was awesome and was really helpful when I had questions and totally thankful that he steered me to get the beef salad.

This is our new favorite Thai food establishment. The food is sooooooo good! Our waitress was the best. She felt like hanging out with a friend. Most dishes are enough for two, or plan on leftovers the next day.

3- Solid Location, but needs a flavor reboot (Too Much MSG!) Giving this place 3- stars due to quick service, but the food seriously missed the mark due to an overwhelming taste of MSG. The flavor balance was off, and everything tasted overly salty and dull. The Drunken Noodle and the curry sauce for the Roti were just okay, nothing special. The Pad Thai was the biggest disappointment--unbalanced flavor. The tofu dish was terrible; thin and hard. Suggestion: They need to drastically cut back on the seasoning (MSG) and improve the preparation of staples like the tofu.

I have really enjoyed the authentic flavors from this small restaurant near Fresno State. The…read moredishes showcase the hallmark balance of Thai cuisine--sweet, sour, salty, and spicy--all working together in harmony. The Pad Gra Prow (Thai basil stir-fry) stood out for its savory, spicy, and aromatic profile. I ordered it with ground chicken, my usual choice, and it came slightly crispy yet juicy, paired with a generous amount of peppery Thai basil. The rich umami sauce--built from soy, oyster, and fish sauce--coated the meat well, and it was served over rice with a crispy-edged fried egg. I prefer a runnier yolk, and the dish leaned a bit salty, but the bold, spicy flavors still made it a winning combination. The pad prik king was another highlight--a vibrant "dry" curry stir-fry with an intense salty-sweet heat and a fragrant citrus aroma from shredded kaffir lime leaves. I ordered it with beef, which was coated in a thick, concentrated red curry paste without coconut milk. The result was a glossy, deeply flavorful dish with a savory, aromatic, and fiery profile. A great version of this dish strikes a balance between a sharp salty punch and a subtle underlying sweetness, and this one delivered. The green beans were bright, crisp-tender, and fresh, though I would have liked a more generous portion. The kaffir lime leaves added a fragrant, citrusy lift that cut through the richness of the curry paste. The Thai crispy pork belly (Moo Krob) has been my favorite so far. It perfectly captured the defining contrast of crispy, golden-brown skin with tender, juicy meat and rendered fat. The dish was deeply savory and aromatic, with a subtle smoky undertone that added depth. Overall, the dishes are well-balanced and vibrant, showcasing fresh ingredients, bold herbs, and contrasting textures. Each plate reflects the complexity of Thai cooking, with a thoughtful interplay of flavors. The co-owner, originally from northern Thailand, brings extensive experience from running several popular restaurants in Thailand--this being her first in the United States--and that authenticity clearly comes through in the food. Thai Taste offers a menu heavy with vegan and vegetarian options, and every dish is made to order. The space itself is small, with a handful of indoor tables, some outdoor seating along the walkway, and counter seating facing the kitchen. A small cart in the center displays imported Thai snacks like spicy cookies and peanut brittle, adding a nice cultural touch. Located in the Bulldog Plaza shopping center near Fresno State, it is an ideal spot for students and anyone looking for a quick, flavorful meal without sacrificing authenticity.

Maybe it's the end of the day and they were feeling generous or just needed the ground pork gone. Well, I used my phone as a phone, and I didn't use the camera until this bowl came out. Just trust me. The broth was rich with notes of fermented bean paste and heavy notes of garlic, cut by the freshness of tomatoes. Heavy by the standards of a rice noodle soup. The lime helps. You might want to use an extra wedge too. Don't hold back though. There's a treasure hunt in progress. You see, within this bowl were a bunch of roast pork pieces. Quality roast pork pieces. The chicharron still very crispy when I got to each piece. (But that doesn't mean you should sin by letting the chicharron get soggy!) Seems like others have their roast pork left on top, but mine had sunk to the bottom when the Khao soy had landed. No big. This is like how won-ton noodle soups are served when you're Canto, the best stuff at the bottom. What impressed was that the roast pork was still crispy! The particular flat rice noodles used seems to be re-hydrated dried noodles. Normally a downgrade but in this case, a good move. Yes, fresh noodles carry the soup better, but in this boiling cauldron, the noodles used handled the heat much better and longer. After I had finished the noodles, the soup was still very hot, enough that I added the bean sprouts, which were still cooked to a point that they were absorbing the soup's flavor. I tried to finish the soup, but failed. Soooo close, but I have a drive to drive, and I don't want to have an accident on the way back. I don't know where the actual banos are in Los Banyos, and they're probably closed by the time I'm passing through. Now mind you, this is about as heavy as rice noodle soup will get. Take your time once you've found the chicharron. Share it if you can. Don't rush like me or you'll be burping garlic like I did rushing back to SF. If you are on a drive between SoCal and SF Bay or Sac, may I suggest taking the 99 instead of the 5? Instead of hours of just brown yellow and gas stations, you can stop at cities with proper markets. Instead of grab and go fast food or selling your kidney at Harris, why not enjoy some proper, affordable, sit-down chow in Fresno? Maybe this will open your eye to new foods as well! *(Yes. Yes. Terrible espanyol, if you can even call that Spanish, don't come at me with chanclas, pour favour!)
