    Kalbi Noodle Bowl

I recently went to Rice Bar for dinner and had a great meal. It's a fun setup, like Chipotle for Korean food. The restaurant isn't huge but there are probably close to 20 seats, where you don't feel too crowded. The service was good and quick, and the food was delicious. My only complain is if you make your own bowl, you can only have 4 toppings for free. Each additional topping was $1.39, which felt crazy expensive. I was able to swap out a veggie in one of the signature bowls, but it would be too expensive to add more toppings, which is disappointing.

I was really disappointed with this location. The other location nearby had a really long line so we came here but the service wasn't great and the food was mediocre. They gave me 8 pieces of kalbi beef and the food wasn't warm

Great experience for a late lunch. I tried making my own bowl but really didn't know where to start. The helpful cook guided me to the Kalbi and I have no regrets. Flavorful and filling. Great place to grab a quick lunch in the area. You'll leave full and happy.

My first time having black rice which was a bit dense, not fluffy, sticky; or sweet. I had spicy chicken with veggies; and spicy peanut sauce it was very flavorful and as saucy as the chicken was, it was a bit dried. The service was fast and the place was small, cozy; and packed.

A quaint restaurant located in a larger suite-style building, the restaurant is packed during lunchtime on weekdays. Although, service is quick and efficient. The seaweed salad topping was refreshing, but the teriyaki tofu lacked substance. Overall, the food here was fine and inexpensive for DC.

The udon was great, unfortunately they were out of a few ingredients forcing me to switch it up, but despite the missing ingredient my dish was great. The staff was great though. Its small and nice for a quick lunch, solo or with a friend or 2. The music was nice as well.

The spot was ok and usual rice bar selections. It did not look as clean as I imagine. The chicken seemed overcooked. I have never tried a rice bar before. So hope their other locations are better bibimbop

Fresh, fast, delicious, and reasonably priced. I got the vegetarian bibimbap with tofu, which was flavorful and full of Korean radish kimchi, spinach, bean sprouts, and marinated mushrooms. You could choose to add gochujang (pepper paste) and sesame oil. My husband got the bulgogi bibimbap. I lived in Korea for two years, and my husband is Korean, and we both thought the food was authentic. You can also customize your food the way you want and choose a variety of veggies and sauce including peanut sauce and noodles to make more of a Thai-styled meal. I would definitely come back for lunch again.

Clean and welcoming place. The person who served me was nice and accommodating when I asked for some customizations. Food was okay for a quick lunch

The meat I pick didn't taste too great. The peanut sauce saved it basically. Otherwise it is okay for a basic lunch.

The owner is not very friendly. Food quality varies, sometimes it's good sometimes very bad. Recommend going to a different location.

I have to give this burger a 10/10. It was cooked excellently and extremely juicy, but the bun was thick & high quality enough to not be soggy. The shallot aioli adds some great flare while not overpowering the burger taste (and the flavor is definitely my cup of tea). While gruyere cheese is a bit untraditional for a burger, The Capital Burger really makes it work: it excellently complements the aioli and is similarly noticeable, but not overpowering. It's a great size at a half pound, but doesn't feel like that much food until after it settles for an hour. It is a bit on the pricier side at $23, but it is worth every penny in my opinion. The gouda fries were some of the best I've had as well; the fries were crisp but full, and they weren't drenched in the cheese. They were very flavorful and did not leave me wanting; however, they are perhaps not worth the price as for $4 you seem to receive less fries than a normal side, and $4 is a lot for melted cheese in any case. The atmosphere also made for a great experience. The restaurant has a sports bar feel with great service and friendly staff. Overall, I'd consider this a must-go if you're in D.C.!

First off, after navigating to this location I got to the door and didn't realize it's a mobile order only location. It doesn't state that on Google, or Apple Maps! That means you have to scan a QR code on the door, make an account and download the app just to make an order. Very user unfriendly and it took way too long for that whole process. I should at the very least be allowed to order without making an account or from a website but I digress. Or it should have an iPad inside for you to order from like most places do! After that process I got my bowl and it just was not good. The ingredients didn't taste fresh, it just felt like a bowl of slop if I am being honest. I personally don't see myself ordering sweetgreen again for a very long time after this experience. I used to be a big advocate of their bowls but I can't support a location that doesn't even let you order inside at a window or something. I'd say avoid this location and find a different place to eat within DC if you can. It's not worth the time, money or energy for the product you are receiving from my experience.

Everything is made to order and available for pick-up when you walk-in. First thing first, you order via the Sweetgreen (SG) app or online. For me, the SG App works perfectly. Every time I've ordered my salad on the app and chosen my time for pick up, the salad is there on the Pick Up shelf with my name on it. How great is that? You walk-in, grab your item and then walk out. No hassle. With some locations around the city, the lines can be long during the lunch rush and some evenings. This was my only compliant-downside about Sweetgreen in the past and admittedly....opted for a less-healthy, tempting fast food options nearby instead. No longer the case here. You can order ahead and pick up your order at your convenience to avoid the lines, plus the ingredients will not be tossed and your dressing is on the side. This is a good thing in my book to keep your salad and ingredients fresh. Have never had a bad salad from sweetgreen. They always offer a great variety of local sourced ingredients -- which change every season. The greens and veggies offered are organic, fresh....and the ingredients equally so. The price point is roughly on average $10-$12 bucks, but it's worth it and a sizable salad for the price. Overall, great concept, outstanding salad options without necessarily the wait when ordering in advance at this location. SG is a "Thumbs up - Go get you some!" in my book and a good option for when you want something a little bit more healthy in your life.

Hubs enjoyed his cheesesteak but he prefers meat. I had a bite and thought it was really flavorful and very closely tasting like the real thing. I noticed later this is a chain, which is pretty cool.
